MOUNTING
1. Open the main con-
trol panel: put a
3.5mm screwdriver
into the opening
slots, at either side of
the base. Prise up,
opening the clips.
2. Fix the backing
plate to the wall
mounting bracket
3. Connect wiring to
the terminals, as per
the wiring diagram -
refer drawing above
4. Fit the connected
thermostat onto the
backing plate, then fix
it with the two sup-
plied screws
5. Sit the cover at a 30
degree angle then
push down into place,
ensuring the two clips
at the bottom are se-
cure

1. POW R ON/OFF
 To turn thermostat on or off press
2. S TTING TH CLOCK
 Press  once, hour ill flash.
 Use the  /  key to select the hour.
 Press  again, minutes ill flash.
 Use the  /  key to select the minutes.
 Press  again, days of the eek ill flash.
 Use the  /  key to select the day of the eek.
 The Thermostat is no set in Manual Mode (01). Use
the  /  keys to select temperature. The Factory
Temperature Setting is 20
o
C.
3. HOW TO S T TH TH RMOSTAT MOD
 With the thermostat turned on, press M button for 5
seconds, then use the  /  keys to select the desired
mode. You can select mode 01 (Manual) or Mode 03
(Programmable) - Note that Mode 02 is not available:
01 = Manual.
02 =This Mode is Not Available. The Display will
show 


03 = Programmable - the display will show
4. MANUAL MOD (01)
 With the thermostat in manual mode, use the  /
 keys to select the desired temperature. The
Factory Temperature Setting is 20
o
C.
5. S TTING TH H ATING PROGRAM (03)
When the display sho s you are in Programmable Mode.
The Factory Temperature Settings for Days 1 to 7 are:
6.00am to 9.00am 20

4.00pm to 9.00pm 20

9.00pm to 6.00am 5

You can change the Factory Settings. You are able to set 4
different temperature settings per day for Monday thought to
Friday and 4 different temperature settings per day for Satur-
day to Sunday.
To change the Factory Settings:
 Press  for 3 seconds, the number 1 and “Mo Tu
We Th Fr” ill be displayed.
This indicates that you are able to program t h e f i r s t
time period (1) for eek-days.
 Use  /  key to set the required start time—hour
 Press  to accept this setting.
 Use  /  key to set the required start time—minutes
 Press  to accept this setting.
 Use the  /  key to set the required temperature.
 Press  to accept this setting.
 Repeat this procedure for time periods 2, 3 and 4.
 After you have programmed time periods 1-4 for
eekdays, “Sa Su” ill be displayed and you can no
set the time periods for the eekend
 Repeat the same process
To disable this function, set to “Manual” mode (01).
WHAT TH RT SYMBOL M ANS
RT = For HA308-S1, in the operational mode, RT indicates
the Floor Temperature. For HA308N , RT indicates the
room air temperature
S T = Pressing the  or  key once ill display the tem-
perature setting and the current set-point temperature.
You are able to increase/decrease the set-point tem-
perature using the  or  key. This temperature
change is only temporary hen thermostat is in pro-
grammable mode (03), and ill be maintained only until
the next programmed setting takes effect.

T MP RATUR CALIBRATION
 With thermostat turned off, Press  and  for 3
seconds., then use t h e  /  keys to adjust the
temperature to the correct value if necessary.
 Press “ ” to turn off. The calibration setting ill
be stored.

This means that the floor sensing probe is not connected or is
faulty
