1.1 SIMBOLOGIA
Nel presente manuale i punti di rilevante
importanza sono evidenziati dalla seguente
simbologia:
INDICAZIONE: Indicazioni concernenti il corretto
utilizzo del dispositivo e le responsabilità dei
preposti.
ATTENZIONE: Punto nel quale viene espressa
una nota di particolare rilevanza.
PERICOLO: Viene espressa un’importante nota
di comportamento per la prevenzione di infortuni
o danni materiali.
1.2 DESTINAZIONE D’USO
Il “connection box” è un dispositivo che consente
di interfacciare una stufa a pellet Palazzetti, ad
un dispositivo di telefonia mobile o ad una rete
internet.
E’ possibile utilizzare il connection box
esclusivamente utilizzando l’apposita
applicazione per dispositivi mobili “PALAZZETTI”
disponibile sui rispettivi store.
Il “connection box” può essere utilizzato solo in
abbinamento ai modelli di stufa predisposti.
L’apparecchio non è destinato ad essere usato
da persone (bambini compresi) le cui capacità
¿siche, sensoriali o mentali siano ridotte, oppure
con mancanza di esperienza o di conoscenza,
a meno che esse abbiano potuto bene ¿ciare,
attraverso l’intermediazione di una persona
responsabile della loro sicurezza, di una
sorveglianza o di istruzioni riguardanti l’uso
dell’apparecchio.
La destinazione d’uso sopra riportata è l’unica
ammessa dal costruttore: non utilizzare il
dispositivo in disaccordo con le indicazioni fornite.
2 AVVERTENZE PER
LA SICUREZZA
Osservare le prescrizioni indicate nel presente
manuale.
L’utilizzatore deve ottemperare a tutti i
regolamenti di sicurezza locali, nazionale ed
europei.
Non effettuare collegamenti elettrici volanti con cavi
provvisori o non isolati.
Veri¿care che la messa a terra dell’impianto
elettrico sia ef¿ciente.
Prima di avviare le fasi di montaggio o di
smontaggio del dispositivo, è necessario
ottemperare alle precauzioni di sicurezza
previste per legge ed in particolare a:
A) non operare in condizioni avverse;
B) operare in perfette condizioni psicofisiche
e veri¿care che i dispositivi antinfortunistici
individuali e personali, siano integri e
perfettamente funzionanti;
C) indossare i guanti antinfortunistici;
D) indossare scarpe antinfortunistiche;
E) usufruire di utensili muniti di isolamento elettrico;
F) accertarsi che l’area interessata alle fasi
di montaggio e di smontaggio sia libera da
ostacoli.
Togliere l’alimentazione elettrica prima di intervenire
su parti elettriche, elettroniche e connettori.

pellet Palazzetti predisposta.

4 INSTALLAZIONE
L’installazione del connection box consta dei
seguenti semplici passaggi:
 collegamento del dispositivo alla stufa
Palazzetti
 ¿ssaggio del connection box alla stufa
 alimentazione del connection box.
4.1 COLLEGAMENTO ALLA STUFA
Per il collegamento del connection box alla
stufa è suf¿ciente collegare il connettore RJ1 1
del connection box alla relativa presa femmina
presente sul posteriore della stufa (¿g 4.1).
4.2 FISSAGGIO DEL CONNECTION BOX
ALLA STUFA
Il ¿ssaggio del connection box alla stufa avviene
applicando alla stufa e al connection box il
velcro biadesivo in dotazione.
 individuare, una posizione fredda, tale da
non generare interferenza nelle eventuali
operazioni di manutenzione, e al corretto
funzionamento della stufa
 applicare il velcro alle due parti e posizionare
il connection box (¿g. 4.2).
 veri¿care che eventuali cavi volanti vengano
¿ssati al pannello posteriore della stufa con
una fascetta.

4.3 ALIMENTAZIONE DEL CONNECTION
BOX
 Collegare lo spinotto dell’alimentatore al

RESET DEL CONNECTION BOX
Il connection box è dotato di tasto di reset, che
l’utente può usare nel momento in cui vuole
riportare il dispositivo alle impostazioni di
fabbrica.
Utilizzo:
 Scollegare l’alimentazione dal connection
box
 premere il pulsante di reset e
contemporaneamente collegare
l’alimentazione senza rilasciare il tasto
 mantenere premuto per 30 secondi il tasto
di reset.

1 GENERAL

1.1 SYMBOLS USED

use of the appliance and the responsibilities of

1.2 INTENDED USE
The connection box is a device for interfacing a
Palazzetti pellet stove to a cellular phone or the
internet.
You can use the Connection Box on your mobile
device just by installing the appropriate app
“PALAZZETTI”, available on the store of your
device.
The connection box may only be used with
compatible stoves.
The appliance is not intended for use by people
(including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental abilities, or who lack suf¿cient
experience or knowledge, unless they are
adequately supervised or instructed on the
appliance’s use by a person responsible for their
safety.
The above intended use is the only one permitted
by the manufacturer: do not use the product for
any other purpose than that speci ¿ed in these
instructions.
2 SAFETY
PRECAUTIONS
Observe the instructions contained in this
manual.
The user must comply with all relevant local,
national and international safety regulations.
Do not make any electrical connections using
temporary or uninsulated cables.
Verify that the electrical system’s earthing device
works ef¿ciently.
Prior to assembling or dismantling the product,
the installer must observe the safety precautions
speci¿ed by the law, and, in particular, must:
A) refrain from working in adverse conditions;
B) work in perfectly sound psycho-physical
conditions and check that his personal
protective equipment is intact and in good
working order;
C) wear protective gloves;
D) wear safety shoes;
E) use electrically insulated tools;
F) ascertain that the area in which the assembly
and dismantling are to be done is free of
obstacles.
Disconnect the power supply before working on
electrical or electronic parts and connectors.

4 INSTALLATION
To install the connection box, proceed as follows:
 hook the device up to the Palazzetti stove
 secure the connection box to the stove
 power up the connection box.
4.1 HOOKUP TO STOVE
To connect the connection box to the stove,
simply connect the RJ1 1 connector of the
connection box on the female socket on the
back of the stove (¿g 4.1).
4.2 SECURING THE CONNECTION BOX
TO THE STOVE
The connection box mounts to the stove with the
included adhesive velcro strips.
 Find a cold position, which is also located so
as not to get in the way of maintenance or
impede the stove’s operation
 Stick the velcro to the connection box and
the stove itself (¿g. 4.2)
 Secure any loose cables to the stove’s back
panel with a tie.

4.3 POWERING UP THE CONNECTION
BOX
 Connect the power supply unit’s plug to the
power socket on the connection box
 Plug the power supply unit into a mains
power socket(¿g. 4.3)
 Power up the stove

RESETTING THE CONNECTION BOX
The connection box has a reset button which
restores the device’s factory settings.
Operation:
 Disconnect the connection box from its
power supply
 Press and hold down the reset button while
reconnecting the power supply
 Keep holding the reset button down for 30
seconds.

Die Heizgeräte von P ALAZZETTI
werden unter Befolgung der in den
europäischen Bezugsrichtlinien genannten
Sicherheitsvorschriften gebaut und geprüft.
Druck, Übersetzung und der auch
ausschnittweise Nachdruck dieses Handbuchs
sind nur nach Genehmigung von P ALAZZETTI

technischen Informationen, gra ¿schen
Darstellungen und Spezi¿kationen dürfen nicht

3.2 BESTIMMUNGSZWECK
Die „Connection Box“ ist ein Gerät, das es
ermöglicht, einen Pelletofen von Palazzetti mit
einem Mobiltelefon oder einem Internetanschluss
zu verbinden.
Um die Connection Box benutzen zu können
muss auf Ihren Smart Phone oder anderes
ähnliches Gerät wie z.B. Tablet, die dafür
vorgesehene App installiert werden. Diese wird
in den App Stores zur Verfügung stehen.
Die „Connection Box“ kann nur in Kombination mit
vorgerüsteten Ofenmodellen verwendet werden.
Das Gerät darf nicht von Personen (Kinder
eingeschlossen) verwendet werden, deren
körperliche oder geistige Fähigkeiten oder
Sinnesorgane beeinträchtig sind oder die über
keine ausreichende Erfahrung oder Wissen
verfügen, sofern sie nicht von einer Person, die
für ihre Sicherheit verantwortlich ist, ausreichend
zum Gebrauch des Geräts angeleitet wurden.
Der oben genannte Bestimmungszweck ist der
einzige, der vom Hersteller genehmigt wird.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals entgegen den
hierin enthaltenen Anweisungen.
4 SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Die in diesem Handbuch enthaltenen
Vorschriften sind strikt zu befolgen.
Der Benutzer muss alle lokalen, nationalen und
europäischen Rechtsvorschriften zur Sicherheit
befolgen.
Führen Sie keine losen elektrischen Anschlüsse
mit provisorischen oder nicht isolierten Kabeln
durch.
Stellen Sie sicher , dass die Erdung der
elektrischen Anlage ausreichend ist.
Bevor er mit der Montage bzw. Abmontage des
Geräts beginnt, muss der Installationstechniker
die gesetzlich vorgeschriebenen
Sicherheitsmaßnahmen ergreifen, insbesondere
A) darf er nicht unter ungünstigen Bedingungen
arbeiten;
B) muss er in perfekter körperlich-geistiger
Verfassung sein und sich vergewissern, dass
die persönliche Schutzausrüstung vollständig
und funktionstüchtig ist;
C) muss er Schutzhandschuhe tragen;
D) muss er Sicherheitsschuhe tragen;
E) muss er elektrisch isoliertes Werkzeug
benutzen;
F) muss er sicherstellen, dass der Bereich, in
dem die Montage- und Abmontagearbeiten
ausgeführt werden, frei von Hindernissen ist.
Vor Eingriffen an elektrischen und elektronischen
Teilen oder Steckverbindern die Spannungszufuhr
unterbrechen.

5 BESCHREIBUNG
Die Connection Box ist mit allem ausgestattet,
was für den Anschluss an einen vorgerüsteten
Pelletofen von Palazzetti erforderlich ist.

6 INSTALLATION
Die Installation der Connection Box erfordert
folgende einfache Schritte:
 Anschluss des Geräts an den Ofen von
Palazzetti
 Befestigung der Connection Box am Ofen
 Stromversorgung der Connection Box
6.1 ANSCHLUSS AM OFEN
Um die connection box am Ofen zu verbinden,
den Kabel RJ1 1 vom connection box am
entsprechenden Anschluss auf der hinteren
Seite des Ofen anschliessen (¿g 4.1).
6.2 BEFESTIGUNG DER CONNECTION
BOX AM OFEN
Die Befestigung der Connection Box am Ofen
erfolgt durch Anbringung des im Lieferumfang
inbegriffenen zweiseitigen Klettverschlusses am
Ofen sowie an der Connection Box.
 Ermitteln Sie eine kalte Stelle, sodass es
bei etwaigen Wartungsarbeiten sowie beim
korrekten Betrieb des Ofens zu keinen
Interferenzen kommt.
 Bringen Sie den Klettverschluss an
beiden Seiten an und positionieren Sie die
Connection Box (Abb. 4.2).
 Vergewissern Sie sich, dass etwaige lose
Kabel mit einem Kabelbinder an der hinteren
Tafel des Ofens befestigt werden.

6.3 STROMVERSORGUNG DER
CONNECTION BOX
 Schließen Sie den Steckerstift der
Stromversorgung an den Stromstecker der
Connection Box an.
 Verbinden Sie das Netzgerät mit einer
Steckdose (¿g. 4.3).
 Setzen Sie den Ofen unter Strom.

ZURÜCKSETZEN DER CONNECTION
BOX
Die Connection Box ist mit einer Reset-T aste
ausgestattet, die der Benutzer betätigen kann,
wenn er das Gerät auf die W erkseinstellungen
zurücksetzen möchte.
Verwendung:
 Nehmen Sie die Connection Box vom
Strom.
 Drücken Sie die Reset-Taste und setzen
Sie das Gerät gleichzeitig unter Strom,
ohne dabei die Taste loszulassen.
 Halten Sie die Reset-Taste für etwa 30
Sekunden gedrückt.
