IMPORTANT REMINDER

Introduction
Thank you for purchasing a Pantheon Catering Equipment product.
In this booklet you ill find instructions for safe operation so please
read carefully and retain for future reference.
Warnings and Precautions
The follo ing arnings and precautions are important and must be
observed:
•Never immerse the unit in ater as damage ill occur and the
guarantee ill be voided
•Rice Cooker must be operated in a horizontal position
•Never overload the rice cooker (maximum: 4.2 liters)
•Ensure the appliance is earthed correctly to avoid risk of
electrical shock
•Do not operate the cooker hen empty.
•Take care hen operating the unit to avoid the steam outlet,
as this may cause injury.
•Ensure insulated gloves are used hen opening and closing
the lid, as this ill be hot!
•Spilled food must be cleaned immediately from external
surfaces.
•Al ays load the rice cooker hen turned off.
•Never reheat rice in the cooker.
•Refrain from using sharp objects inside the cooker, to prevent
damage from occurring.

Parts Identification
Operating Instructions
1. Using the measuring cup, collect the desired amount of rice.
2. Thoroughly wash the rice, ensuring it is free of starch and that no steam build
up will occur.
3. Place the desired amount of rice into the inner bowl, and then add the
corresponding amount of water. The level is on the inside of the inner bowl,
where one cup of rice is equivalent to water level 1, two cups would require
water up to level 2, and so on.
4. Then place the inner bowl into the rice cooker, ensuring there is no rice on the
outside of the bowl and that the bowl is dry.
5. Place the lid onto the rice cooker and turn the unit on.
6. Press the switch to start cooking the rice. The “Rice Cooking” light will
illuminate.
7. When the rice is cooked, the unit will switch to the “Keep Warm” function.
8. Wait a further 10 minutes before removing the lid, to ensure the rice has been
thoroughly steamed.
9. After this time, the lid can be removed. Then proceed to stir the rice with the
included spoon, now the rice is ready to eat.
10. Make sure the rice is consumed within 2 hours, ensuring to stir the rice again
prior to consumption.
11. When finished, simply turn the unit OFF.
NOTE: Please keep the following in mind:
•Certain types of rice may cause a steam build up, if this occurs, lift the lid
allowing the steam to escape.
•Never reheat cooked rice in the cooker.
•Don’t use sharp objects inside the inner bowl, as the non-stick coating may be
damaged.
•Make sure the unit is unplugged during filling and when being cleaned.
•ALWAYS use heat resistant gloves when removing the inner bowl from the
cooker.

Maintenance
Cleaning
When cleaning the external parts of the unit only use a damp cloth
and refrain from using abrasive scrubs or scourers, as it may cause
damage. When cleaning the inner bo l please only use either a soft
brush or a damp cloth. Also take care to thoroughly ash the unit
ith ater if using detergent or cleansers, to ensure none remains
in the unit.
General Maintenance
To prolong the life of the appliance and to ensure it al ays operates
correctly, the inner bo l shouldn’t be used for anything else. For
example, please refrain from heating the inner bo l in the oven,
placing it in the fridge or for storage of other food products.

the same functions as the supplied equipment.
Where possible, please recycle your packaging.
