Your Patek Philippe watch features a unique com-
bination of two useful and easy-to-use functions: the
patented Annual Calendar, which requires only one
manual correction per year; and the Travel Time
second time-zone system. Its technical original-
ity lies in consistently indicating the exact date
for local time. To provide this exclusive func-
tion, the engineers designed a new self-winding
movement in which the Travel Time mechanism
controls the Annual Calendar, allowing for for-
wards and backwards date correction. The second
time-zone display, by means of two central hour
hands, features an ingenious crown correction
system enabling the local time hand to be moved
forwards or backwards in one-hour increments.
The Annual Calendar, with its accelerated disk pas-
sages, ensures optimal synchronization of the date
and local time. Caliber 31-260 PS QA LU FUS 24H
is protected by eight patent applications for innova-
tions improving precision, performance, reliability,
safety and user-friendlinesss.

INSTRUCTIONS
SECONDTIMEZONE
Your watch has two central hour hands:
- The solid hand displays local time (the time
zone in which you are currently located)
- The skeletonized hand displays home time
(your normal place of residence or work)
When you are at home and therefore local time and
home time are the same, the hands are perfectly
aligned to appear as one.
When you change time zone, you can move the
local hour hand forwards or backwards one hour
at a time using the crown pulled out to position 2.
During this time, the skeletonized hand contin-
ues to indicate the time in your home time zone.
This useful feature is intelligently combined with
day/night indicators, clearly distinguished by the
words LOCAL and HOME . These small aper-
tures tell you what part of the day it is in each of
the two time zones displayed.
WINDINGCROWN
The winding crown is used to manually wind the
watch (position 1), to set the second time zone
(position 2) and to set the time (position 3).
WINDING
Your watch incorporates a self-winding movement.
The movements of your wrist set a centrifugal
weight in motion; this tensions the mainspring,
which stores the energy. When you take off your
fully wound watch, it will continue to run for at
least 38 hours. When it has stopped after deplet-
ing the power reserve, it can be rewound by hand
(about 10 clockwise turns of the crown).

ANNUALCALENDAR
The Annual Calendar indicates the day of the week,
the month, and the date, automatically taking into
account months with 30 and 31 days. If the watch
is worn daily, the date only needs to be corrected
on March 1 (moving it three days forward in non-
leap years,
and two days in leap years). A calendar
correction may also be necessary if the watch
has been set aside for a longer period of time and
stopped running.
Please wind the watch and set the time before
you put the watch on. This prevents lateral
pressure on the winding stem. Please use
your fingernails to pull the crown out and
turn it gently between two fingertips.
Never pull out the crown in a humid envi-
ronment or underwater: the water resist-
ance of your watch is assured only when
the crown is pushed home.
Your watch has two central hour hands
that move synchronously and can be either
superposed or separated in order to display
a second time zone.
The crown is used to move the local time
hand clockwise or counterclockwise in one-
hour steps.
Correction push pieces should be actuated
exclusively with the correction stylus that
was delivered with the watch. The use of any
other tool could damage your timepiece.
Do not perform any settings using the cor-
rection push pieces between 10 p.m. and
2 a.m. (local time) for calendar corrections
or between 8 a.m and 12 a.m. (home time)
for moon-phase corrections.
Be sure not to set the month using the
correction push piece when the date is on
the 31st or the 1st of a month, as this would
disrupt the calendar display and require
additional corrections.

SETTINGTHETIME –
HOMETIME
The reference time for your watch is the time at
home. To set the time, first pull the crown out to
position 2. Then, move the local time hand (solid
hour hand) until the two hour hands (solid and
skeletonized ) are superposed and both day/night
indicators (LOCAL) and (HOME) display the
same color. Now, pull the crown gently all the way
out to position 3 and move the hour and minute
hands in either direction until the desired time is
displayed.
PREPARATIONS
1. If your watch has stopped running, rewind it by
hand before performing any corrections or adjust-
ments (about 10 clockwise turns of the crown).
2. You can be sure that performing adjustments is
safe if you first set your watch to 7 a.m.; observe the
color of the day/night indicator (LOCAL) (white).

The day/night indicator in the aperture (HOME)
lets you check whether you have set the correct time
(white = from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.; blue = from 6 p.m. to
6 a.m.). Once you have set the correct time, push the
crown home again. This will also set again in motion
the small seconds hand (stop-seconds function).
Note: In position 3, the two hour hands (home time
and local time ) move simultaneously. If when setting
home time the local hour hand moves forwards beyond
midnight or backwards to before midnight, the calendar
displays will move one day forwards or backwards.
Kindly note that the moon-phase display remains in sync
with home time.
DISPLAYOFASECOND
TIMEZONE (LOCALTIME)
WHILETRAVELING
Before you set a second time zone , check the
day/night indicator (HOME) to make sure that
the two superposed hour hands indicate the cor-
rect time at home and that the day/night indicator
correctly displays daytime or night time hours, for
instance 8 a.m. (white) or 8 p.m. (blue).
To set the local hour hand to display a second
time zone, follow these steps:
- If you are traveling eastbound, pull out the
crown to position 2. Then move the solid hand
clockwise by as many hours as the two time
zones are apart (the local hour hand moves for-
wards by one-hour steps).
- If you are traveling westbound, pull out the
crown to position 2. Then move the solid hand
counterclockwise by as many hours as the two
time zones are apart (the local hour hand moves
backwards by one-hour steps.

- If you continue your journey and pass through
further time zones, simply repeat the procedure
described above using the crown.
Note: When the two hour hands are separate, the skel-
etonized hand continues to display the time in your
home time zone, and the day/night aperture (HOME)
indicates whether it is day or night in your home time zone.
As soon as you have returned to your home time
zone (normal place of residence or work), simply
superpose the two hour hands and again by
means of the crown. Make sure the two day/night
indicators (LOCAL) and (HOME) indicate the
same time of day and have the same color.
Note: When adjusting the second time zone, if the local
hour hand moves forwards beyond midnight or back-
wards to before midnight, the calendar displays will move
one day forwards or backwards.
DATECORRECTION
To set the date , actuate the correction push piece
at 4 o’clock as many times as needed to display the
current date.
MONTHCORRECTION
To set the month , actuate the correction push
piece at 2 o’clock as many times as needed to
display the current month.
Note: It is important not to correct the month between
the 31st or the 1st by means of the correction push piece,
as this would disrupt the calendar display and require
additional corrections.
DAYOFWEEKCORRECTION
To set the day of the week , actuate the correction
push piece at 10 o’clock as many times as needed
to display the current day.

MOONPHASECORRECTION
Each time the correction push piece at 8 o’clock
is actuated, the moon-phase disk will advance
by one day. To begin the correction procedure,
advance the moon-phase disk until a full moon is
displayed in the middle of the aperture. Consult
an almanac or visit www.patek.com and count the
number of days that have elapsed since the last full
moon (relative to the current date). To set the cor-
rect moon phase, press the correction push piece as
many times as the number of days that have elapsed
since the last full moon.
CERTIFICATEOFORIGIN
Your watch is delivered with a certificate of origin
that indicates the movement and case numbers. The
certificate is valid only if it is dated, signed by an
Authorized Patek Philippe Retailer, and completed
with your name. It guarantees the authenticity of
your watch and validates your warranty privileges
for a period of two years after the date of sale. The
unique movement and case numbers of each watch
are transcribed into the workshop journals. With
this information, you may have yourself entered
in the Patek Philippe Register of Owners and will
obtain the International Patek Philippe Magazine free
of charge.

As an all-encompassing hallmark of quality,
the Patek Philippe Seal applies to the entire
watch, including the movement, case, dial,
hands, pushers, strap, and clasp as well as to all other
facets that contribute to the precision and aesthetic

functional, and aesthetic factors, but also rate accu-
racy, dependability, and customer service quality.
Additionally, it reflects the maker’s know-how and
all other assets needed for the development, produc-
tion and long-term maintenance of an extraordinary
timekeeping instrument.

QUALITYCONTROL
The movements and completely assembled watches
are subject to a series of technical tests and visual
inspections to verify their rate accuracy, winding
speed, power reserve, reliability, water resistance,
and overall appearance. Once assembled, your self-
winding watch will run for several weeks before
leaving the workshops; it fully complies with the
stringent criteria of the Patek Philippe Seal.
ACCURACY
The rate accuracy of Patek Philippe watches is ver-
ified in several phases of manufacturing, both with
uncased and fully cased movements. The final test
is performed with a wrist motion simulator and
the results must conform to the following Patek
Philippe precision benchmarks:
The rate accuracy of calibers with a diameter of 20 mm
or larger must range within -3 and +2 seconds per
24 hours.
The precision of a watch is determined by how accu-
rately it keeps the time. A watch that is fast or slow
is considered precise if its gain or loss remains
constant. Such a deviation can be easily corrected.
Consequently, the final test of accuracy takes place
on your wrist. Your temperament or the nature of
your physical activities can cause slight irregular-
ities. Fluctuations in position, temperature, or air
pressure, the presence of magnetic fields (as pro-
duced by most electronic devices, metal detectors,
household appliances, etc.), as well as vibrations
and other factors may also affect its accuracy. If you
notice that your watch exhibits such irregularities,
please do not hesitate to take it to an Authorized
Patek Philippe Retailer or an Authorized Service
Center, where no effort will be spared to assure that
it is adjusted to meet your expectations.
WATERRESISTANCE
Your watch is fitted with different types of seals
to protect the movement against the ingress of
dust and moisture and to prevent damage if it is
immersed in water. Nonetheless, we recommend
that you prevent direct contact with water if your
watch has a leather strap.
It is advisable to have a water-resistance test car-
ried out every year on your watch. This is a simple
procedure that takes only a few minutes at a prop-
erly equipped point of sale.
SERVICE
We recommend that you have your watch serviced
every three to five years. With this in mind, we
suggest that you take or send your watch to an
Authorized Patek Philippe Retailer or an Author-
ized Service Center. This gives you the assurance
that your watch will be entrusted to the hands of
a qualified Patek Philippe watchmaker in Geneva
or at an Authorized Service Center.

The watchmaker will completely disassemble the
movement and then inspect, clean, and lubricate
all of the individual parts prior to reassembly. All
functions of the watch will also be tested in detail
and the escapement regulated if necessary. Finally,
its rate accuracy will be monitored and precision-
adjusted for a further period of two weeks. The
entire process may take several weeks because each
watch must undergo a complete series of tests to
fulfill the strict quality criteria of Patek Philippe.

le Quantième Annuel breveté, n’exigeant qu’une seule
correction manuelle par an, et le système d’affichage
d’un second fuseau horaire Travel Time. Son origi-
nalité technique est d’indiquer toujours la date exacte
pour l’heure locale. Pour offrir cette fonctionnalité

MODE D’EMPLOI
DOUBLEFUSEAUHORAIRE
Votre montre possède deux aiguilles centrales des
heures:
- l’aiguille pleine indique l’heure locale (fuseau
horaire où l’on se trouve actuellement)
- l’aiguille évidée indique l’heure du domicile
(lieu de résidence ou de travail habituel)
Lorsque vous vous trouvez dans votre lieu de résidence
habituel (domicile), ces deux heures étant identiques,
les
deux aiguilles, parfaitement superposées, n’en font
qu’une.
Lorsque vous changez de fuseau horaire, vous pou-
vez régler l’aiguille de l’heure locale vers l’avant
ou vers l’arrière, par crans d’une heure, à l’aide de
la couronne tirée en position 2. Ce réglage n’affecte
pas la position de l’aiguille ajourée , qui continue
d’indiquer l’heure du domicile.
Cette fonction utile est judicieusement complétée
par deux indications jour/nuit identifiées par les
inscriptions (LOCAL) et (HOME) . Ces petits
guichets permettent de savoir dans quelle partie de
la journée (jour ou nuit) se situe chacun des deux
fuseaux horaires affichés.
COURONNE
DEREMONTOIR
Le remontage manuel (position 1), le réglage d’un
second fuseau horaire (position 2) et la mise à l’heure
(position 3) s’effectuent à l’aide de la couronne de
remontoir.
REMONTAGE
Votre montre est dotée d’un mouvement à remon-
tage automatique. Ce sont les gestes de votre poi-
gnet qui, grâce à la masse oscillante, permettent
d’armer le ressort de barillet et de stocker l’énergie.
Hors du poignet et complètement remontée, votre
montre bénéficie d’une réserve de marche de mini-
mum 38 heures. Si elle s’est arrêtée suite à un temps
de repos supérieur à la réserve de marche, remon-
tez-la manuellement (environ 10 tours de couronne,
dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre).

QUANTIÈMEANNUEL
Le Quantième Annuel indique le jour, le mois et
la date en tenant compte automatiquement des
longueurs variables des mois de 30 et 31 jours. Si
la montre est constamment portée ou remontée,
la date ne doit être corrigée qu’une fois par an, le
1er mars. Il peut également être nécessaire de corri-
ger le calendrier lorsque la montre s’est arrêtée car
elle n’a plus été portée pendant un certain temps.
Il est préférable d’effectuer la mise à l’heure hors
du poignet afin d’éviter les pressions latérales
sur le tube de la couronne. Nous vous recom-
mandons de n’utiliser que deux doigts et de faire
levier avec l’ongle pour tirer la couronne.
Ne tirez jamais la couronne dans un environ-
nement humide ou dans l’eau. L’étanchéité de
votre montre n’est garantie qu’avec la couronne
poussée contre le boîtier.
Les deux aiguilles centrales des heures (pleine
et évidée) fonctionnent de manière parfaitement
synchronisée et peuvent être soit superpo-
sées, soit séparées pour l’affichage d’un second
fuseau horaire.
La couronne permet de déplacer l’aiguille de
l’heure locale par crans d’une heure dans les
deux sens, vers l’avant ou vers l’arrière.
Pour actionner les boutons correcteurs, utili-
sez exclusivement le crayon de fonction fourni
avec la montre. L’utilisation de tout autre outil
risquerait d’endommager votre garde-temps.
Aucun réglage au moyen des boutons correc-
teurs ne doit être effectué entre 22h et 2h du
matin (heure locale) pour le calendrier et entre
8h et 12h (heure du domicile) pour la lune.
Veuillez ne pas effectuer de correction du mois
par le biais du bouton correcteur lorsque la
date est au 31 ou au 1er, car cela dérèglerait
le calendrier et nécessiterait des corrections
supplémentaires.

MISEÀL’HEURE –
HEUREDUDOMICILE
L’heure de référence de votre montre est l’heure
du domicile. Pour effectuer une mise à l’heure,
commencez par tirer la couronne en position 2.
Faites ensuite avancer l’aiguille de l’heure locale
(aiguille pleine) jusqu’à ce que les deux aiguilles
des heures (pleine et évidée ) soient super-
posées et que les deux indications jour/nuit (LOCAL)
et (HOME) affichent la même couleur. Tirez
ensuite la couronne en position 3 et déplacez les
aiguilles des heures et des minutes vers l’avant ou
vers l’arrière jusqu’à l’affichage de
l’heure désirée.
PRÉPARATIONS
AUXRÉGLAGES
1. Si votre montre s’est arrêtée, il est impératif
d’effectuer un remontage manuel avant toute correc-
tion ou manipulation (environ 10 tours de couronne,
dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre).
2. Pour avoir la certitude d’effectuer les réglages
dans la bonne plage horaire, réglez votre montre sur

h du matin en prenant comme repère l’indication
jour/nuit (LOCAL) . L’indicateur (LOCAL) doit
alors être affiché en blanc (jour).

L’indication jour/nuit dans le guichet (HOME)
permet de contrôler si vous avez réglé votre montre
dans la bonne plage horaire (blanc = de 6h à 18h;
bleu = de 18h à 6h). Une fois l’heure ajustée, n’ou-
bliez pas de repousser la couronne contre le boîtier.
Cela remettra également en mouvement l’aiguille
de la petite seconde (fonction stop seconde).
Important: en position 3, les deux aiguilles des heures
(heure du domicile et heure locale ) se déplacent
simultanément. Si lors de la mise à l’heure (heure du
domicile), l’aiguille de l’heure locale avance au-delà
ou recule en deçà de minuit, les achages du calendrier
avanceront ou reculeront d’un jour. Veuillez noter que
l’achage de la phase de lune est, quant à lui, solidaire
de l’heure du domicile.
AFFICHAGED’UNSECOND
FUSEAUHORAIRE (HEURE
LOCALE) ENVOYAGE
Avant de régler l’affichage d’un second fuseau
horaire , assurez-vous – à l’aide de l’indicateur
jour/nuit (HOME) – que les deux aiguilles des
heures superposées indiquent l’heure du domicile
dans la bonne plage horaire, en distinguant par
exemple 8 h du matin (guichet blanc) ou 20 h
(guichet bleu).
Pour dissocier l’aiguille de l’heure locale afin
d’afficher un second fuseau horaire, procédez
comme suit :
- Si vous voyagez vers l’est, tirez la couronne en
position 2. Tournez ensuite la couronne dans le
sens horaire pour faire avancer l’aiguille pleine
du nombre d’heures correspondant au décalage
horaire entre les deux fuseaux (l’aiguille de l’heure
locale avance par crans d’une heure).
- Si vous voyagez vers l’ouest, tirez la couronne
en position 2. Tournez ensuite la couronne dans
le sens antihoraire pour faire reculer l’aiguille

pleine du nombre d’heures correspondant au
décalage horaire entre les deux fuseaux (l’aiguille
de l’heure locale recule par crans d’une heure).
- Si vous poursuivez votre voyage en traversant
de nouveaux fuseaux horaires, répétez la même
opération au moyen de la couronne
.
Remarque : lorsque les deux aiguilles centrales des
heures sont séparées, l’aiguille évidée ache l’heure du
domicile et le guichet jour/nuit (HOME) vous indique
s’il fait jour ou nuit dans votre fuseau de domicile.
Une fois de retour à votre domicile, il vous suffit de
superposer à nouveau les deux aiguilles des heures
et au moyen de la couronne. Veillez à ce que les
deux indications jour/nuit (LOCAL) et (HOME)
affichent alors la même couleur. L’heure locale et du
domicile sont alors identiques.
Important: lors du réglage du second fuseau horaire, si
l’aiguille de l’heure locale avance au-delà ou recule en
deçà de minuit, les achages du calendrier avanceront
ou reculeront d’un jour.
CORRECTIONDELADATE
Pour corriger la date , pressez autant de fois que
nécessaire sur le bouton correcteur situé à 4h,
jusqu’à l’affichage de la date désirée.

Important : veuillez ne pas eectuer de correction de mois
