Power Cable and Plug
Pleasebesuretofollowthefollowinginstructionsinordertopreventthe
devicefrommalfunctioningandtopreventelectricalshock,fires,andinjuries:
Youneedtoremovethepowerplugtodisconnectthepowercompletely.
Whendisconnectingthepowertoyourbox,alwaysunplugitbypulling
theplugitselfandnotthecable.
Donoteverpluginorunplugthepowercablewithwethands.
Keepthepowercableawayfromheatersandradiators.
Neverputheavyobjectsonthepowercable.
Donottrytorepairthepowercableyourselfortomodifyitinanyway,
shape,orform.
Regularlycleanoffthedust,dirt,etc.fromtheplug.
Ifyoudroptheboxordamageitinanyfashion,disconnectthepower
plug.
Ifyounoticesmoke,strangesmells,ornoises,disconnectthepower
plug.Contactyourdealerimmediately.
Duringathunderstorm,donotconnectordisconnecttheantennaor
datatransmissionlines.

Where Not to Install the Box
Donotinstalltheboxinanyofthefollowinglocations:
Indirectsunlight,nexttoradiatorsorotherheatsourcesorinvehicles
parkedindirectsunlightwithallthewindowsrolledupandthedoors
closed,
Locationswithextremelyhightemperatures(35°C/95°Forgreater)or
levelsofhumidity(90%orgreater),
Verydustyorsandylocations,
Locationswheretherearevibrations,shakingorslantedsurfaces
underneath.Thiscoulddamagethecomponentsinthebox.
Onflammablesurfacessuchascloth‐coveredtables.
Keeptheboxawayfromflowervases,bathtubs,sinks,etc.,andfrom
locationswheretheboxisexposedtoprecipitation.Theboxmaybe
severelydamagedifanyliquidentersit.
Problems with Other Devices
Setuptheboxinahorizontalpositionanddonotplaceanyheavy
objectsonit.
Donotplacetheboxonanamplifieroranyotherdevicethatgivesoff
heat.
Housing and Internal Components
Neverremoveoropenanypartofthehousinganddonottrytoperform
anyrepairsyourself.Anymaintenanceorrepairworkshouldbedoneby
aqualifiedtechnician.
Keepfingersandobjectsawayfromtheinsideofthebox.
Itisdangeroustotouchanyofthecomponentsinsidethebox.Doingso
mayinjureyouanddamagethebox.
Donotplaceanyobjectsonthebox.
Theboxshouldonlybecleanedwithasoft,dry,anti‐staticcloth.
General Information

Condensation
Condensationmaydevelopintheboxinthefollowingcircumstances:
Rightafteranearbyheaterorradiatorwhichhasbeenturnedon,
Inaveryhumidorsteam‐filledroom,
Iftheboxwasmovedfromacoldlocationtoawarmone.
Condensationintheboxmaycauseittomalfunction.Inthiscase,turnoffthe
boxandwaitaround1houruntilthecondensationhasevaporated.Thenyou
canuseitagain.
Non-Use
Ifyouarenotplanningtousethedeviceforalongperiod,youshould
unplugitfromthepowersocket.
Accessories
Useonlytheaccessoriesincludedwithorrecommendedforthedevicein
ordertominimizetheriskoffire,electricalshockorinterference.
