Peavey Patching Adapter User manual

The Patching Adapter™includes (6) 1/4" phone jacks in parallel. This unit can be one
o the most use ul “tools” available or patching systems together when “Y”
connectors are needed.
Actually, the Patching Adapter is a six-way “Y” connector which may be used or
channel grouping o submasters or or any situation calling or paralleling o several
di erent signals.
Be care ul when paralleling outputs rom mixers, e ects devices, etc., because not all
manu acturers provide “build - out resistors” which allow those outputs to be mixed.
Several speaker enclosures may be connected to one power amp with the Patching
Adapter, but total system impedance should be considered. Speaker cables (not
shielded patch cables) should be used or speaker level. Shielded cables should be
used or all low level patching.
