Posible CausaProblema Solución
1) Alterne por las opciones usando los botones lo-
calizados en el recibidor hasta que muestre que
esta listo en Sincronizar IR. O presione el botón
IR si es posible.
2) Asegurar que el transmisor esta apuntado en la
dirección correcta. La ventanilla del sincronizado
IR mostrado en las paginas 11-13 de el manual

Problem Solution
1) Power button is on the OFF position.
2) AC power adapter is not plugged in.

1) Turn on the power button/switch. May need to
hold for 3 seconds to power on.

Check on the receiver end and wall outlet end.
1) Operate the device in the effective range.
2) Turn on the microphone switch.
3) Turn up the microphone volume on the
receiver.
4) Put batteries in the transmitter. Make sure the
positive and negative ends of the batteries are
pointed in the right direction.
5) Connect a cable from the receiver to a micro-
phone input of a sound system.
6) Use the IR synch function to synch the micro-
phone with receiver.
1) Create distance between the microphones.
2) Replace the batteries.
3) Reduce the volume of the microphone.
4) Move the receiver away from other electric
equipment.
5) Try changing the channel of the microphone.
Both transmitter and receiver must match fre-
quencies for operation.
1) Toggle through options using the buttons
located on the receiver until it shows it is in
the IR sync ready mode. Or hit the IR button if
possible.
2) Make sure transmitter is pointed in right direc-
tion. The IR window on the transmitter shown
on pages 11-13 of the manual needs to be
pointed at the IR sync window location on the
receiver. Both of these windows should be
facing each other within about ½" or less when
syncing.
3) Make sure the transmitter is pointed at the
right location on the receiver. See pages 6-10
to locate the IR window of receiver. It should
say IR next to the IR sync window on your
receiver.
4) The transmitter window is not aligned properly
to the receiver during the syncing process.
Position within ½" or less. The IR sync win-
dows must be aligned when the receiver is in
the IR sync mode. See page 13 for details.
5) Turn off all nearby transmitters or receivers
that are not currently going through sync pro-
cess. An additional transmitter that is turned
on may interfere with the syncing process.

Put 2 batteries into each of your transmit-
ters. The handheld takes 2 AA batteries and
the battery compartment can be located by
unscrewing the bottom of the handle. The
beltpack takes 2 AAA batteries and the com-
partment can be located by swinging open the
door. See diagrams on pages 11 and 12.
Attach the two antennae to the back of your
receiver. Attach by screwing onto the receiver
in the proper location. See picture of your
receiver on pages 6-10 for help with locating
the proper location.
Step 3: Connect your sound system to your wireless
microphone system using either 1/4” or XLR
cables but not both at the same time. You will
need to attach 1 XLR cable for each transmit-
ter that you will be operating.
For all receivers (except for the PM-WP2T)
only one 1/4” cable needs to be used regard-
less of how many transmitters you are
operating as long as you do not exceed the
number of transmitters that your system can
operate at once. However, the PM-WP2T sys-
tem requires one 1/4” per transmitter used.
Note: Generally a cleaner more clear sound can
be attained by using XLR cables. We highly
recommend the use of XLR cables instead of
1/4” cables with your system.
Plug the AC power supply into the back of
your receiver and then into an electrical outlet.
Power on your receiver using the power
switch. Push the power button for 3 seconds.
Step 6: Power on your transmitter.
Handheld: Use the three position sliding
switch sliding it all the way to the on position.
Beltpack: Power on using the button located
on the top of the beltpack. Push power button
for 3 seconds. See diagram on page 12.
Note: The handheld has a three position switch
allowing you to mute the transmitter without
powering it off by sliding the switch to the half
way position between the power on/off posi-
tions.
Step 7: Now you must sync your transmitter and
receiver to the same frequency or chan-
nel. By using the receiver controller on your
receiver you can toggle through the various
receiver settings and choose the IR sync
mode. Some receivers may allow you to
access IR sync mode by simply hitting the
button on your receiver that says “IR” next
to the button. Set your receiver to IR sync
mode. Once your receiver is set to IR sync

mode you should be able to begin the process
of syncing your transmitter with your receiver.
Note: If you are going to be using more than one
transmitter at a time then each transmitter
must be set to a different frequency or chan-
nel. You can use the receiver controller to
select different frequencies (or channels)
for additional transmitters. Choose a fre-
quency or channel for a specific receiver
channel and sync the next transmitter to a
different frequency or channel than the previ-
ous transmitter(s). Refer to the page in this
manual that gives instructions for your specific
receiver for detailed instructions.
Step 8: Once the receiver is set to IR sync follow the
steps below:
Locate the IR sync window on the receiver.
Look for the letters IR on your receiver to
locate the window. Please see pictures on
pages 6-10 to help locate the IR sync window
location.
Handheld Transmitter:
Point the back of your transmitter with the
small window on the back of your transmit-
ter facing toward the receiver to within about
one half inch of the IR sync window on the
receiver. Hold the handheld in this position.
When properly aligned the handheld should
automatically change frequency to match the
frequency of the receiver.
Beltpack Transmitter:
Open the compartment where the batteries
are stored. Align the red IR sync window on
your beltpack to that on your receiver to auto-
matically sync the transmitter to the frequency
of the receiver.
Note: Frequency display can be found on page 11
for the handheld and page 12 for the beltpack.
Step 9: Make sure the volume knobs on your receiver
are turned up to the desired level.
Your wireless microphone system should
now be operational as long as all your sound
equipment is set up properly as well. When
you are finished make sure to power off your
transmitter and receiver.

How to set frequency of transmitter without using receiver.
Hold set button in for 3 seconds. Then use arrow buttons to select desired
Frequency. Stop using arrow buttons once you are on selected frequency.
Note: You should usually use the receiver sync process to change the fre-
quency of the transmitter. Setting the frequency of the beltpack independently
of the receiver may result in malfuction.
How to change the Decibel Level.
Press set button. When frequency is blinking you can press the “set” button
again. “DB” will blink. This allows you to set the Decibel level. Usually this
should be left at 0. It is possible to lower the Decibel level up to –30. Lowering
the Decibel level cuts the volume down. Note: This is not the recommended
way to adjust volume.

How to Access IR Sync Mode
Make sure all other microphone receivers and
transmitters in the room are turned off except for
the receiver and transmitter you are trying to sync.
Turn the “Receiver Controller” knob/button in blue
letters in diagram to the right until the LCD display
shows “IR Y/N”
Step 3. When the LCD display shows “IR Y/N” press the
knob/button into the unit.
After pressing the knob into the unit it will show
IR- - - -. The - - - - lines will be moving. The
Receiver is now in IR Sync Mode.
Now hold the powered on transmitter up to the
receiver with IR window facing toward the “IR”
location on receiver. See page 13 for an example.
Step 6. When the receiver and transmitter connect prop-
erly the LCD display on the receiver will read “IR
OK”. The frequency displayed on your transmitter
and receiver should match.
Step 7. The receiver and transmitter are now in sync and
the system is ready for use.
Other Functions:
The Receiver Controller will access the following
modes:
To select mode turn the receiver knob until you see the
desired mode. When you see the desired mode press but-
ton once. After selecting mode you can use the knob turn-
ing it right or left to change mode. Press button again once
desired setting is displayed on the LCD Display on the
receiver.
Mode Options:
(A) Fre – Frequency Selection Mode
(B) CH – Channel Selection Mode
(C) IR – IR Y/N
(D) Scan – Scan Mode
(E) POW – HIGH or LOW
(F) LOCK – LOCOFF or LOCON
A. Fre (Frequency Selection Mode) – Press button once
and the frequency will begin to blink. Now you can
rotate the receiver knob to scroll through the frequency
options. When you find your desired frequency option
press the button once to select that frequency.
B. CH (Channel Selection Mode ) – 10 channel frequency
options. Press button once and the channel will begin
to blink. Now you can rotate the receiver knob to scroll
through the channel options of 1 through 10. When you
find your desired channel then press the button once to
select that channel. Note: The channel is a frequency.
C. IR (IR Y/N) – Press button once and you should enter
IR sync mode. This mode allows you to sync your
transmitter and receiver to the same frequency (or
channel).
D. Scan – Press button once to select scan mode. This
mode allows a scan for an available channel.
E. High or Low – Press button once on “High” or “Low”
to select. Rotate knob to set what strength setting you
desire. “High” should be used if the speaker may be
at a distance from the receiver. “Low” can be used if
the speaker will be close to the receiver. Batteries may
possibly drain more slowly at the “Low” setting. Press
button again once your desired setting is displayed on
receiver in LCD Display.
F. “LOCOFF” or “LOCON” – Press button once on
“LOCOFF” or “LOCON” to select mode. Rotate knob to
select. When in LOCON position receiver is locked in
all settings. Must turn to LOCOFF to readjust settings
on your receiver. Press button again once your desired
setting is displayed on receiver in LCD Display.

Step 3. Using the top two buttons which operate move-
ment up and down scroll down to IR Sync. Once
you get to IR Sync press the Enter/Set button
which is the thrid button down from the top.
After completing the step above you should have
the following four options for each of your receiver
channels and transmitters (A, B, C, and D):

Use the top two buttons to pick which transmitter
and channel you would like to sync. You can use
one channel per transmitter. One transmitter can
sync to A, the second can sync to B, the third to
C, and the fourth transmitter can sync to D. When
you toggle to the chosen channel hit the Enter/
Set button which is the third down from the top to
select your desired channel.
After completing the previous step the receiver
should now be ready to sync for the channel you
have chosen. Now hold the powered on trans-
mitter up to the receiver with IR window facing
toward “IR” location on receiver. See diagram on
preceding page to find location on your receiver.
Step 6. After successfully completing the IR Sync pro-
cedure repeat the same procedure for all for 4
transmitters choosing a different channel (A, B,
C or D) for each transmitter. Each transmitter
must be on a different frequency. If you have two
receiver channels on the same frequency then
use the “Fre Select” function to change the fre-
quency or "channel" for that transmitter.
Note: Using Group select will pick four different preset fre-
quencies for each of your transmitters. You will still

How to Access IR Sync Mode
Make sure all other microphone receivers and
transmitters in the room are turned off except for
the receiver and transmitter you are trying to sync.
Tap the button once that says “IR”.
Step 3. After pressing “IR” the receiver will show IR- - - -
. The - - - - lines will be moving. The Receiver is
now in IR Sync Mode.
Now hold the powered on transmitter up to the
receiver with the IR window facing toward the “IR”
location on your receiver. See photo above for the
location of the IR window on your receiver. See
pg. 13 for an example of facing the “IR Window” of
both transmitter and receiver toward each other.
When the receiver and transmitter connect prop-
erly the LCD display on the receiver will read “IR
OK”. The frequency displayed on your transmitter
and receiver should now match.
Step 6. The receiver and transmitter are now in sync and
the system is ready for use.
How to Sync your second Transmitter.
Your transmitters must be on different frequencies. Look
at your first transmitter on which you have already done
the “IR” sync process above. The LCD display on the
transmitter should display what frequency or channel that
transmitter is on.
For your second transmitter choose a Channel or Fre-
quency that is different than your first transmitter. Do this
by following the instructions below.
On the side of the receiver that is associated
with the second transmitter tap the “set” button to
scroll through the mode options. Continue tapping
the “set” button until it shows “FRE” or “CH” on
the receiver LCD Display”.
Tap the “set” button again once you see your
desired mode either “Fre” or “CH”. Use either the
“Fre”- Frequency selection mode to select a fre-
quency or use the “CH”- Channel selection mode to
select a channel. After tapping on the “FRE” or “CH”
it will display a blinking Frequency or Channel.
Step 3. Choose your selected Frequency or Channel by
using the arrow keys. Channel or Frequency must
be different than the first transmitter so as to avoid
interference. When you see the Frequency or
Channel of your choice tap the “set” button again.
Now follow IR sync instructions above to sync
your second transmitter. Your transmitter should
automatically tune to the last selected Frequency
or Channel selected. You must sync the second
transmitter using the controls on the opposite side
of the receiver than you used for the first trans-
mitter. Each transmitter must be on a different

Note: It is possible to use one 1/4” cable to for all 4 chan-
nels. However, a cleaner signal may be obtained if
you use 4 individual XLR cables. Using XLR cables
will also allow the sound man to adjust each of the
transmitters sound levels individually when away
from the receiver with the use of a mixing board.

To enter the Menu press one of the 4 buttons above for 3
seconds until the menu displays:
You can then use Buttons 1 and 2 (Up and Down) to move
to the desired mode. Press Button 3 (Enter/Set) to select
the desired function.
A. Fre Select - By pressing Button 3 (Enter/Set) on this
option you can select which transmitter/receiver chan-
nel A through D for which you want to set the frequency.
Then use Buttons 1 and 2 (Up and Down) to change
the frequency. Press Button 3 (Enter/Set) when you
have arrived at the frequency you desire.
B. Group Select - By pressing Button 3 (Enter/Set) on this
option you can select a group of preset frequencies
for all 4 of your transmitters/receiver channels. Each
transmitter would still need to go through the IR Sync
function if not already in Sync.
C. IR Sync - This mode allows you to IR Sync your trans-
mitters individually with your receiver. See the detailed
explanation below.
D. Back - This is a back button.
Detailed Instructions for Accessing IR
Sync Mode:
Make sure all other microphone receivers and
transmitters in the room are turned off except
for the receiver and transmitter you are trying to
synch.
Press one of the 4 buttons on the right for 3 sec-
onds. This should cause a menu screen to pop
up with 4 options.

quency.
C. IR (IR Y/N) – Press button once and you should enter
IR sync mode. This mode allows you to sync your
transmitter and receiver to the same frequency (or
channel).
D. Scan (Scan Mode) – Press the “set” button on “Scan”.
This mode will allow you to scan for an available chan-
nel.
E. SQL (Squelch Adjustment Mode) – Press the “set” but-
ton on “SQL”. This mode will allow you to adjust the
squelch if needed.
F. POW (HIGH or LOW) – Press “set” button on “High”
or “Low”. This mode allows you to select what strength
setting you desire. “High” should be used if the speak-
er may be at a distance from the receiver during use.
“Low” can be used if the speaker will be close to the
receiver. Batteries may possibly drain more slowly at
the “Low” setting.
G. LOCK (LOCOFF or LOCON) – Press “set” button and
then use arrow keys to choose “LOCOFF” or “LOCON”
When in LOCON position receiver is locked in all set-
tings. Must turn to LOCOFF to readjust settings on your
receiver.
Note: Squelch can be used to eliminate interference.
