5. SETTING UP YOUR RAZER
1. Loosen t he deskt op mounting knobs and adjust the microphone angle so t hat the t op
port ion of the microphone is facing the sound source. You may then tight en the knobs unt il
the microphone is secured in place.
2. Connect t he Razer to your comput er using t he Micro- USB to USB cable.
Note: You may connect an analog audio output device (such as a headphone) to the 3.5 mm
headphone port, to listen to the audio being recorded by your Razer at the same time.

A. For Window s users
St ep 1: Open your Sound set t ings from Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > M anage
audio devices. You can also right - click on t he sound icon in t he system t ray, and then select
Playback devices.
St ep 2: In t he Playback t ab, select from t he list and click t he Set Default
but ton.

6. USING YOUR RAZER
ADJUSTING THE HEADPHONE VOLUM E
Rotate t he headphone volume control clockwise or count erclockw ise t o increase or decrease the
headphone volume.
ADJUSTING THE M ICROPHONE GAIN
Rotate t he microphone gain control clockw ise or count erclockw ise t o increase or decrease t he
sensitivity of the microphone when capturing sound. This is recommended if t he microphone is
capt uring too much ambient noise and vice versa.

M UTING THE M ICROPHONE
Press t he microphone mut e but ton to mut e or unmute the microphone. The microphone mute LED
will light up in red w hen t he microphone is muted.
UNDERSTANDING THE PEAKING INDICATOR
limit er adjust ed the volume of t he captured sound t o prevent unwant ed audio distort ions and voice
clipping.

Note: You may disable or enable the Peaking indicator by pressing and
holding the Microphone mute button for at least 6 seconds. Do take
note that the Digital / Analog limiter w ill remain enabled even with the
Peaking indicator disabled.

ENABLING / DISABLING THE HIGH- PASS FILTER
Press t he high- pass filt er butt on t o enable or disable the high- pass filt er function of your Razer
. By enabling the high- pass filter function, low - end rumbles and hums, such as w ind
noise from t he air conditioning syst ems and cars driving by in a dist ance, are automatically filtered
out without requiring post - recording edit s.

7. SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE
SAFETY GUIDELINES
In order t o achieve maximum safety while using the Razer , we suggest that you adopt
the follow ing guidelines:
Should you have trouble operating t he device properly and t roubleshoot ing does not w ork, unplug
the device and cont act the Razer hot line or go t o support .razerzone.com for support.
Do not take apart t he device (doing so w ill void your warranty) and do not att empt t o operat e it
under abnormal current loads.
Keep t he device and it s component s away from liquid, humidit y or moist ure. Operat e t he device
and it s component s only w it hin t he specific t emperature range of 0° C(32° F) t o 40° C(104° F).
Should t he temperature exceed t his range, unplug and sw it ch off the device in order to let the
temperature st abilize to an opt imal level.
List ening t o excessively loud volumes over extended periods of t ime can damage your hearing.
Furt hermore, legislation of cert ain count ries permit s a maximum sound level of 86dB t o affect your
hearing for 8 hours a day. We t herefore recommend t hat you reduce the volume t o a comfort able
level when list ening for prolonged periods of t ime. Please, t ake good care of your hearing.
M AINTENANCE AND USE
The Razer requires minimum maint enance to keep it in opt imum condit ion. Once a
month w e recommend you unplug t he device from t he computer and clean it using a soft clot h or
cott on to prevent dirt buildup. Do not use soap or harsh cleaning agents.
