1. Introduction

This symbol on the device or the package indicates that disposal of the device
after its lifecycle could harm the environment.

be taken to a specialized company for recycling.
This device should be returned to your distributor or to a local recycling service.

this device into service. If the device was damaged in transit, don't install or use it and contact
your dealer.
2. Safety Instructions
Keep this device away from children and unauthorized users.
Keep this device away from rain, moisture, splashing and dripping liquids.
Never point the cone directly to people or animals at close distance (<1m);
temporarily or permanent ear damage may occur.
•Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the
warranty and the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
•Note that damage caused by user modifications to the device is not covered by the
warranty.
3. General Guidelines
•Protect this device from shocks and abuse. Avoid brute force when operating the device.
•Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it. Do not allow
operation by unqualified people. Any damage that may occur will most probably be due to
unprofessional use of the device.
•All modifications of the device are forbidden.
•Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an unauthorised way will
void the warranty.

6. Maintenance
•All screws should be tightened and free of corrosion.
•Wipe the device regularly with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
•There are no user serviceable parts. Contact your dealer for spare parts if necessary.
•The housing and visible parts should not be deformed or tampered with.
7. Battery
•When broadcast power becomes insufficient, replace the batteries with 4 new ones.
•Switch the megaphone off [1].
•Open the battery cover by pushing the unlock battery compartment button [8]. It rotates
around a hinge at the top of the megaphone.
•Take out the old batteries and insert 4 new 1.5V D batteries (LR20C, not incl.) in
accordance with the polarity markings inside the battery compartment.
•Close the battery compartment. Make sure it snaps into place.
WARNING:
Malfunction may occur if the power is on when the battery is replaced.
Dispose of batteries in accordance with local regulations.
Keep batteries away from children.
