This guide is intended to make operation of the RT3 GPS audio/
telephone easy.
It introduces the basic functions of the telephone, the GPS
navigation-guidance and the spoken commands.
For radio operation, and for more detailed information about all of
the functions offered by your GPS audio/telephone, refer to your
vehicle's handbook.

Press the "MENU" button to access the main
menu and select one of the following
applications:

This CD enables you to change certain parameters (male / female voice,
language).
To do this: "Configuration" menu and select the element to be
changed.
Observe the instructions written on the CD sleeve.

- When entering the PIN code, you can choose to store it by confirming the
"Store PIN" option.
You will no longer be asked to enter the PIN, if you leave the SIM card in the
holder.
- To copy the SIM card directory to the RT3 directory and vice versa:
- go to the "Directory" menu
- select "Directory files management"
- then "Exchange with the SIM card"
- finally, select the directory file(s) to be exchanged and the direction of the
exchange.

HANDY HINT: call diversion
To divert a call from the RT3 to another telephone number:
- go to the "Telematics" menu
- select "Telephone functions"
- then "Telephone options","Voice call diversion N°"
- enter the telephone number
- confirm by pressing "OK" to activate the call diversion
To deactivate or reactivate the call diversion subsequently, press the "Hang up"
button for more than 2 seconds.

This contains the map data.
You can obtain updates of the map data from
your PEUGEOT dealer.
Insert the navigation CD-ROM in the drive on the
front panel and leave it there to use the
Navigation-Guidance functions.

- If there is any doubt about the name of the destination (there are x towns, streets, n°),
select "List" and confirm the destination chosen from the possibilities displayed.
- To be guided to the town centre, simply enter the "Town" parameter only.
- To enter the street, it is not necessary to specify the type of street (avenue, road,
boulevard...); for example, for "avenue de la Grande Armée", simply enter "grande
armée" and select "avenue de la Grande Armée" from the list.

HANDY HINT: enter using the alphanumeric keypad
You can use the alphanumeric keypad to enter an address or a name.
For example, to enter "PARIS", press the following buttons and
select each letter one by one:
"7" (once), "2" (once), "7" (three times), "4" (three times), "7"
(four times).

To make a call or activate navigation to directory files, spoken descriptions
must be recorded.
To display the list of commands available on the screen,
classified by menu and sub-menu, you can either:

VOICE RECOGNITION
From a pre-recorded list, you can control certain
functions of your GPS audio/telephone vocally.
The words must be spoken one by one, pausing
between each to wait for the audible confirmation
signal and displaying of the word recognised.

You can also have a stored text message read vocally, by
selecting "Text messages" from the "Telematics" menu
You can also use the spoken commands: "SMS" or
"Message", then "Read" or "Display".
When a new text message arrives, you can ask for it to be read by voice
synthesis, if this is active, by confirming "YES" on the following screen:
