•We have not supplied wall xings with this product. All walls dier in strength
and thickness. Consult a qualied installer or seek advice from your local
DIY/hardware store on purchasing suitable wall xings to safely mount the
bracket on the type of wall being used.

•This product was designed to be installed on wooden stud walls or solid
concrete/brick walls. When xing to walls screws/bolts should be xed into
bricks/stone not into mortar courses.
•Make sure the wall will support the combined load of the
equipment and hardware.
Also check for hidden wiring or plumbing.
•Make sure that the heads of the screws/bolts you buy as wall fastenings are
the correct size to hold the bracket securely in position.
•For larger/heavier TVs we recommend that you ask someone to assist you
with lifting and positioning your TV.
•This product is suitable for indoor use only.
•Improper installation or use of this product can result in product failure,
damage or personal injury.
•This product contains small items that could cause choking if swallowed, so
keep these items away from children and pets.
•Appropriate safety equipment and proper tools must be used for installation.

tools and other equipment

standard.NotallatscreenTVsarecompliant,contacttheTV
manufacturer for assistance if your TV does not appear to comply with
VESA.
• TocheckifyourTVormonitoriscompliant,lookattherearof
thedisplaythereshouldbe4screw-holesinasquarepatternor
inlargerdisplaysarectangularshape.SeeFig.2opposite,with
VESAmountingpointsshowninwhitecircles.

Before attaching the Wire Mount Bto the TV you must rst use the Wire
Clamp M-O toadjustthewirelengthLtooptimumasindicatedinTable1
or2asappropriate(seebelow).UsetheSpanner M-Q supplied to tighten
the clamp as shown in Fig. 7 and use the Cable Tie M-P to secure any
excess wire. The TV Wire Mount B isthenattachedtothetoptwoVESA
mounting
holes and the lower
SupportingSpacers C& D
to the two
lower
VESAmounting
holes as shown in
Fig.7andFig.8a-c
.
Two lengths
of each size mounting bolts are provided for attaching the TV Mounts
totheVESAmounting
holes on
yourTV.Usethelongerlengthandthe
PlasticSpacers M-M or M-N for TV’s with curved or recessed back panels
asshowninFig.8band8c.Ifyouaremountingtoatelevisionwithaat
back you can use a shorter bolt and will not need a plastic spacer, see
Fig. 8a. You should also use the appropriate size washers as shown in
Fig.8a-c.Makesureallfourboltsareproperlytightenedandheldinplace
byatleastthreefullturns.
With the help of another person, hook the the TV Wire Mount Bwith the
TV attached over the top of t
he
DiskWallPlates Aand make sure the TV is
level.PulldowngentlyontheTVsothatthewireisrmlylodgedovert
he
disk wall plates AseeFig.9.UsetheclipononeoftheSupportingSpacers
Dto hold the TV away from the wall while you make your connections,
seeFig.10.Whenyouhavenishedmakingyourconnectionspulltheclip
attothebackoftheTVandlowertheTVgentlybackagainstthewall
seeFig.11.
PLEASE NOTE: For larger/heavier TVs we recommend that you ask
someone to assist you with lifting and positioning your TV.

STEP 3 - Hanging and securing the TV
Mounting your TV - Overview
OnceyouhavedecidedwheretolocateyourTVandwherethebracket
needstobepositioned,mountingrequiresthe3stepsdescribedbelow.
Step 1: mark and drill xing holes in the wall and attach the Disk Wall
Plates A to the wall using suitable screws/bolts. Step 2 attach the TV Wire
Mount BandSupportingSpacers C& Dto the back of the TV using the
PlasticSpacers M-M or M-N if required. Step 3 hang the TV Wire Mount B
andTVovertheDiskWallPlates A, make your connections then tilt the
TVattothewall.

The disk wall plates Aare attached to the wall using two
screws/bolts and
washerssuitableforattachingtowood(ifindoubtaskforadviceatyourlocal
DIY/hardware store and remember to make sure that the heads of the screws/
bolts are the correct size to hold the

securelyinposition),
seeFig.4.Useastuddetectortomarkthecentrepointsofthetwostudsyou
wishtomountto(thesewillbeapprox.406,450or600mmapart).Tomark
the exact position of the
holes, hold the
disk wall plates A
to the wall with
the centres aligned over the stud centres, use a spirit level to make sure
the plates are level, and mark the centre of each hole. Drill your rst hole
as marked and x one of the
DiskWallPlates A
tothewall.Usingaspirit
level and a ruler check that the position you marked for the second hole
isstillcorrect(re-markifnecessary).Drillthesecondholeandattachthe
second
DiskWallPlate A
to the wall.
FixingtoConcrete/BrickWalls
ThisprocessisthesameasforattachingtowoodseeFig.5&6.Youwill
however need to use suitable screws/bolts/wall plugs for the type of wall
youaremountingonto(ifindoubtaskforadviceatyourlocalDIY/hard-
ware store and remember to make sure that the heads of the screws/bolts
arethecorrectsizetoholdthebracketsecurelyinposition).UseTable2
below to determine the distance X between the centres of the two Wall
Plates AtheoptimumvalueswilldependontheVESAsize.Whenxing
to walls screws/bolts should be xed into bricks/stone not into mortar
courses and make sure both screws/bolts are properly tightened.
