BURN TISCHKAMIN - nur für LAMPENÖL
GEBRAUCHSANLEITUNG
Diese Gebrauchsinformation ist vor dem Benutzen Ihres PHILIPPI Tisch-
kamins sorgfältig zu lesen und für die weitere Verwendung aufzubewahren.
ACHTUNG!
• DenTischkaminnurentzünden,wenndiesereinenhorizontalenund
sicheren Stand hat. Den entzündeten Kamin nicht bewegen.
• Der Kamin darf nicht zur Raumheizung genutzt werden.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass keine brennbaren Materialien im Umkreis
von 80 cm um den Kamin herum sind.
• Legen Sie niemals etwas oben auf den Kamin.
• Nicht in Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren oder verwenden.
• Lassen Sie den Kamin niemals unbeaufsichtigt brennen.
• Beachten Sie die allgemeinen Vorsichtsmaßnahmen im Umgang
mit offenem Feuer.
BEDIENUNGSANLEITUNG:
Verwenden Sie nur hochwertige duftfreie QUALITÄTS-PARAF-
FIN-LAMPENÖLE mit einem Flammpunkt von mindestens 60°C.
1. Packen Sie den Kamin vollständig aus.
2. Befüllen Sie den Tischkamin mit Lampenöl.
3. Dazu entfernen Sie den großen Docht-
halter in der Mitte des Kamins mit Hilfe
der mitgelieferten Pinzette. Halten Sie
die Pinzette gerade von oben.
4. Füllen Sie das Lampenöl mit Hilfe des
mitgelieferten Trichters in den Tank.
Die maximale Füllmenge des Be-
hälters beträgt 800 ml und darf nicht
überschritten werden. Auf der Seite des
Gehäuses befindet sich ein Loch für den
Druckausgleich. Tritt Öl aus diesem Loch
heraus, ist der Kamin zu voll befüllt.
5. Setzen Sie den Dochthalter wieder ein und verschrauben Sie ihn
ordnungsgemäß. Überprüfen Sie den festen Sitz des Dochthal-
ters. Justieren Sie den Docht so, dass maximal 1mm aus dem
Loch des Dochthalters herausragt. Sollte sich nach dem Befüllen
Lampenöl auf der Bodenplatte befinden, entfernen Sie dieses
vor der Benutzung vollständig. Der Tischkamin darf vorher nicht
entzündet werden - Brandgefahr!
6. Legen Sie dann die Steine zwischen die Dochte und zünden Sie
sie an.
Regulierung der Flammenhöhe:
Die Flammen werden höher, je weiter der Docht aus der Halterung
herausgezogen wird. Sind die Flammen zu groß, stecken Sie die Dochte
etwas weiter hinein. Sind die Flammen zu klein, ziehen Sie die Dochte
etwas weiter heraus. Verwenden Sie für die Regulierung immer die mit-
gelieferte Pinzette.
Achtung!
Justieren Sie den Docht so, dass er maximal 1mm aus dem Loch des
Dochthalters herausragt.
Reinigung:
Sie können den Kamin bedenkenlos mit Spülmittel reinigen. Tauchen
Sie den Kamin nicht unter Wasser. Achtung: Der Tischkamin ist nicht
spülmaschinengeeignet.
Verwendung Drinnen/Draußen:
Sie können den Kamin drinnen und draußen verwenden. Bitte verwen-
den Sie immer eine feuerfeste Unterlage. Verwendung draußen: Achten
Sie darauf, dass kein Regenwasser in den Kamin läuft. Wenn sich die-
ses mit dem Lampenöl vermischt, brennt der Kamin nicht mehr.
Hitzeentwicklung:
Der Kamin ist aus Metall gebaut, welches Hitze gut leitet. Wenn der
Kamin brennt, können der Tank, die Steine und die Glasscheiben heiß
werden, überprüfen Sie dieses bevor Sie ihn anfassen. Der Original-
Kamin verwendet Baumwoll-ummantelte Glasfaserdochte mit 4 mm
Durchmesser. Es dürfen nur Dochte dieser Bauart mit einer Länge von
> 75 mm verwendet werden. Nach längerem Brennen verkohlen die
Glasfaserdochte an den Spitzen. Bitte schneiden Sie diese um ca. 1 mm
ab, damit sie wieder gut brennen.
ACHTUNG!
Dieses Produkt enthält im gebrauchsfertigen Zustand Lampenöl und
ist für Kinder unzugänglich aufzubewahren. Ebenso darf der mitge-
lieferte Trichter mit Verlängerung sowie Ihr Lampenöl-Vorratsbehälter
nicht in die Hände von Kindern gelangen.

BURN TABLE FIREPLACE – only for LAMP OIL
INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT!
You must read the two included product information sheets very careful-
ly before assembling, preparing or using the PHILIPPI oil lamp. There are
important instructions which must be followed to ensure your item can be
used safely – any failure to follow these instructions might invalidate any
warranty you may have on this product. Retain this information for further
reference/use.
ATTENTION!
• Only ignite the table fireplace if it has been placed on a fireproof base
and it is level and secure. Do not move the fireplace once it is lit.
• The fireplace must not be used for heating purposes.
• Make sure that there is no flammable material within an 80cm ra-
dius of the oil lamp.
• Never cover or lay anything on top of the oil lamp.
• Do not use or store the fireplace within the reach of children.
• Never leave the fireplace unattended whilst burning.
• Please observe the general precautionary measures when dealing
with open fire.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Only use high-quality PARAFINIC LAMP OIL with a minimum flashpoint of
60°C. Important: do not use any type of fragrance oil or essences.
1. Unpack the fireplace completely.
2. Ensuring the lamp is level, fill the tank
with lamp oil to a maximum of 800ml.
3. To fill the lamp with lamp oil, take out
the big wick holder in the middle using
the metal tweezers provided. Hold them
upright and straight. The central wick
holder can be stiff, so hold the tweezers
near the bottom and turn with pressure.
4. Using the funnel, slide its tube into the
opening and pour the lamp oil into the
funnel. Fill the tank to a maximum of 800
ml of lamp oil. Do not exceed more than 800ml under any circum-
stances. There is a small hole for pressure equalization on side of the
body. If oil leaks out of this hole, the fireplace has been overfilled.
5. Then re-insert the wick holder with the trailing wick into the hole on
the base.
6. Important: Adjust the wicks (trimming if necessary) so that they poke
out of the wick holders no more than 1mm above the metal casing.
7. Should there be any oil on the base please clean/absorb it before
use. Do not light the wicks if there is oil on the base as this is a
fire hazard!
8. Place the stones evenly between the wick holders. When all the sto-
nes are in place, light the wicks.
Regulating the height of the flames:
The longer the wicks, the higher the flames will burn. If the flame is too
high, extinguish the flame and slightly push the unlit wick back into the
holder so that it is shorter. If the flames are too high this can produce
smoke and cause the unit to become too hot. Should the flame be too
low, carefully pull the unlit wick out a little to make longer. Please use the
tweezers provided for this.
WARNING: Adjust the wicks (trimming if necessary) so that they poke out
of the wick holders no more than 1mm above the metal casing.
Cleaning:
The table fireplace can easily be cleaned with normal dishwashing liquid.
Attention: The table fireplace is NOT dishwasher compatible.
Interior and Exterior Use:
You can use the table fireplace both inside and outside. Please make sure
that you use a “hot-mat” when placing the table fireplace on any furniture.
Do not leave the fireplace outside when not in use.
Development of heat:
The table fireplace is made of metal that conducts heat. Once the table
fireplace is lit, the tank, stones and glass can become hot. Please be ex-
tremely cautious when touching or picking up the fireplace to avoid injury
or burns. The original wicks are 4mm diameter cotton coated fibre glass
with a length no longer than 75mm – only use replacement wicks with this
specification. After prolonged use, the glass fiber wicks carbonize at the
tips. Please cut them by ca. 1mm to make them burn well again.
ATTENTION!
Oil lamps, equipment, and lamp oil must be kept sealed and out of reach
of children. Read the product information carefully before assembly, pre-
paration and use.
