Important
◗Only use the HQ8000/ 6000 powerplug
supplied to charge the appliance.
◗The powerplug transforms 110-240 volts to
12 volts.
C◗Make sure the HQ8000/ 6000 powerplug
does not get wet.
C◗The shaver runs at a safe low voltage of
12 volts.It is watertight and can be cleaned
under the tap.Do not rinse with water hotter
than 80cC.
The display
The display provides the following information:
C◗Charging
As soon as you connect the cord,the light in the
display goes on,the plug symbol appears and the
minute indication starts blinking.
C◗Batteries fully charged
When the batteries have been fully charged,the
word 'FULL' runs across the display and the light
in the display starts blinking.
C◗Remaining shaving time
The number on the display shows the remaining
shaving time in minutes.The segments indicate
how much energy there is still left in the batteries.
The shaving time of a fully charged shaver will
range from 55 to 70 minutes,depending on your

type of beard and your shaving behaviour,and is
calculated by the built-in computer.
C◗Cleaning reminder
The blinking tap symbol reminds you that the
appliance is due to be cleaned,which will be
approx.once a week in case of normal use.
C◗Batteries running low
When the batteries are running low,the plug
symbol will start blinking after you have switched
the shaver off.
When you switch the shaver on or off,the light in
the display goes on for approx. 10 seconds.
The appliance has a 1-minute demonstration
program.
Press the on/off button a few seconds until all
symbols appear on the display.You can interrupt
the demonstration by pressing the on/off button.
Charging
Do not expose the appliance to temperatures
lower than 5cC or higher than 35cC.
The powerplug is suitable for mains voltages
ranging from 110 to 240V.
You can also shave without charging by
connecting the shaver to the mains.
To extend the lifetime of the batteries,remove
the powerplug from the wall socket and pull the
appliance plug out of the shaver when the
batteries have been fully charged.

C1Insert the appliance plug into the shaver as
far as the line on the plug.
2Put the powerplug in the wall socket.
Do not recharge the shaver in a closed pouch.
3When charging for the first time or after a
long period of disuse:leave the shaver to
charge continuously for 4 hours.
Charging normally takes approx.1 hour.
4Remove the powerplug from the socket
and pull the appliance plug out of the
shaver when the batteries have been fully
charged.
With the special Philishave Car Cord (HQ6010),
you can also charge the appliance at 12 volts (e.g.
in a car).This cord is available from your Philishave
dealer.
Shaving
1Switch the shaver on by pressing the on/off
button once.
C2Move the shaving heads quickly over your
skin,making both straight and circular
movements.
Shaving on a dry face gives the best results.
Your skin may need 2 or 3 weeks to get
accustomed to the Philishave system.
3Switch the shaver off.

C4Put the protection cap on the shaver to
prevent damage.
Replace the shaving heads (type HQ6 Quadra
Action) every 2 years for optimal shaving results.
Trimming
For grooming sideburns and moustache.
C1Open the trimmer by pushing the slide
upwards.
The trimmer can be activated while the motor is
running.
Cleaning
Regular cleaning guarantees better shaving
performance.
The easiest and most hygienic way to clean the
appliance is to rinse the shaving unit every week
with hot water (60c-80cC).
When you clean the appliance,it is not necessary
to take the shaving heads (cutters and guards)
apart.If you want to take them apart,be sure not
to mix up the cutters and guards,since grinding of
the cutters in the guards only guarantees optimal
performance for each matching set.If you
accidentally mix up the sets,it could take several
weeks before optimal shaving performance is
restored.

Every week:shaving unit
1Switch the shaver off,remove the
powerplug from the wall socket and pull
the appliance plug out of the shaver.
C2Press the release button and open the
shaving unit.
C3Clean the shaving unit and the hair
chamber by rinsing them under a hot tap
for some time.
C4Leave the shaving unit open to let the
appliance dry completely.
You can also clean the hair chamber without
water by using the brush supplied.
Every six months:trimmer
1Switch the shaver off,remove the
powerplug from the wall socket and pull
the appliance plug out of the shaver.
C2Brush the trimmer.
C3Lubricate the trimmer teeth with a drop
of sewing machine oil every six months.

Replacing the shaving heads
Replace the shaving heads every two years for
optimal shaving results.
1Switch the shaver off,remove the
powerplug from the socket and pull the
appliance plug out of the shaver.
C2Press the release button to open the
shaving unit.
C3Turn the wheel anti-clockwise and remove
the retaining frame.
C4Remove the shaving heads and place the
new ones in the shaving unit in such a way
that the parts with the small holes point
towards the centre of the shaving unit.
Make sure that the projections of the shaving
heads fit exactly into the recesses.
C5Reassemble the shaving unit by replacing
the retaining frame.Press the wheel and
turn it clockwise.
If the shaving heads have been properly inserted,
a shiny circle is visible on top of the shaving unit.
Replace damaged or worn shaving heads with
Philishave HQ6 Quadra Action shaving heads
only.

Storing
C◗Put the protective cap on the shaver to
prevent damage.
C◗Store the appliance in the luxury pouch or in
the stand.The stand can be used standing on a
surface or attached to the wall.
To attach the stand to the wall:
1Remove the base from the holder by
turning and pulling the holder.
C2Attach the base to the wall.
3Click the holder into the base.
Disposal of batteries
Remove the batteries when you discard the
shaver.Do not throw the batteries away with the
normal household waste,but hand them in at an
official collection point.You can also take the
batteries to a Philips Service Centre,which will
dispose of them in an environmentally safe way.
Only remove the batteries if they are completely
empty.

1Remove the mains plug from the socket
and pull the appliance plug out of the
shaver.
C2Let the shaver run until it stops,undo the
screws and open the shaver.
3Remove the batteries.
Do not connect the shaver to the mains again
after the batteries have been removed.
Troubleshooting
1Reduced shaving performance
BCause 1:the shaving heads are dirty.
BThe shaver has not been rinsed long enough or
the water used was not hot enough.
◗Clean the shaver thoroughly before you
continue shaving (see 'Cleaning').
BCause 2:long hairs are obstructing the shaving
heads.
C◗Remove the retaining frame.
◗Remove the hairs with the brush supplied.
C◗Clean the cutters and guards.
Do not clean more than one cutter and guard at
a time,since they are all matching sets.If you
accidentally mix up the cutters and guards,it may
take several weeks before optimal shaving
performance is restored.

◗Put the retaining plate back onto the shaving
unit.
BCause 3:shaving heads are damaged or worn.
◗Remove the retaining frame.
◗Remove the old shaving heads from the
shaving unit and replace them with new ones
Damaged or worn shaving heads (cutters and
guards) must only be replaced with the original
Philishave HQ6 Quadra Action shaving heads.
◗Put the retaining plate back onto the shaving
unit.
2The shaver does not work when the
ON/OFF button is pressed
BCause:the batteries are empty.
◗Recharge the batteries.

Wyświetlacz
Wyświetlacz dostarcza następujących informacji:
C◗Ładowanie
Gdy podłączysz przewód zasilający, zapali się
wyświetlacz, pojawi się na nim symbol wtyczki
oraz zacznie migać wskaźnik minutowy.
C◗Akumulator w pełni naładowany
Gdy akumulator jest w pełni naładowany, na
wyświetlaczu pojawia się słowo "FULL" (pełny) i
zaczyna migać podświetlenie wyświetlacza.
C◗Pozostały czas golenia
Liczby na wyświetlaczu pokazują, na ile minut
golenia wystarczą akumulatory. Kreseczki wskazują
stan naładowania akumulatora.W pełni
naładowana golarka wystarcza na maksimum 75

minut beprzewodowej pracy. Czas golenia zależy
od typu zarostu i odTwojego sposobu golenia.
Jest on obliczany przez wbudowany
mikroprocesor.
C◗Przypomnienie o czyszczeniu
Migający kran symbolizuje potrzebę wyczyszczenia
urządzenia. Przy normalnym użytkowaniu
urządzenia, należy czyścić golarkę mniej więcej co
tydzień.
C◗Niski stan naładowania akumulatorów.
Kiedy akumulator pracuje słabiej, tuż po
wyłączeniu urządzenia, zaczyna migać symbol
wtyczki.
Kiedy włączasz lub wyłączasz golarkę, wyświetlacz
zapala się na około 10 sekund.
Urządzenie zostało wyposażone w
jednominutowy program demonstracyjny.
Wciśnij włącznik na kilka sekund, aż na
wyświetlaczu ukażą się symbole. Możesz przerwać
demonstrację, wciskając ponownie włącznik.
Ładowanie
Urządzenie nie powinno być narażone na
temperatury niższe, niż 5cC, lub wyższe niż 35cC.
Ładowarka jest dostosowana do napięcia od
110 do 240V.
Możesz także używać golarki bez ładowania,
podłączając ją bezpośrednio do sieci.

znaku na wtyczce.
2Podłącz ładowarkę do sieci.
Nie ładuj golarki w zamkniętej saszetce.
3Jeśli ładujesz golarkę po raz pierwszy lub
po długim okresie nieużywania, podłącz
golarkę do ładowarki na 4 godziny.
Normalne ładowanie trwa ok. 1 godziny.
4Gdy akumulatory są całkowicie
naładowane, wyjmij wtyczkę z gniazda
sieciowego i odłącz urządzenie.
Dzięki specjalnemu przewodowi zasilającemu
Philishave Car Cord (HQ6010) możesz ładować
golarkę przy napięciu 12V (np. w samochodzie).
Przewód taki można kupić w punkcie serwisowym
Philips (patrz Karta Gwarancyjna).
Golenie
1Włącz golarkę, wciskając włącznik.
C2Przesuwaj głowice po skórze, wykonując
zarówno proste, jak i okrężne ruchy.
Najlepsze efekty golenia osiąga się na skórze
suchej.

(2-3 tygodni), by przyzwyczaić się do nowego
systemu golenia.
3Wyłącz urządzenie.
C4Załóż na golarkę nasadkę ochronną.
Wymieniaj głowice golące (typ HQ6 Quadra
Action) co dwa lata.W ten sposób zapewnisz
sobie najlepsze rezultaty golenia.
Tr ymer
Służy do przystrzygania wąsów i bokobrodów.
C1Otwórz trymer przesuwając suwak do
góry.
Tr ymer może być używany po uprzednim
włączeniu urządzenia.
Czyszczenie
Regularne oczyszczanie golarki gwarantuje lepsze
efekty golenia.
Najłatwiejszą i najbardziej higieniczną metodą
czyszczenia golarki jest cotygodniowe spłukiwanie
części golącej ciepłą wodą (60cC-80cC)
Podczas czyszczenia golarki nie trzeba zdejmować
elementów golących (ostrzy i głowic). Jeśli je
wyjmiesz, zwróć szczególną uwagę, żeby nie
pomieszać ostrzy i głowic. Jest to bardzo ważne,
ponieważ dopasowanie ostrzy do głowic
zapewnia optymalną skuteczność działania

każdego z zestawów. Jeżeli przypadkowo ostrza i
głowice zostaną pomieszane, odzyskanie przez
golarkę dobrej jakości golenia może trwać nawet
kilka tygodni (dopasowanie się elementów).
Co tydzień: element golący
1Wyłącz golarkę, wyjmij ładowarkę z
gniazdka ściennego oraz wtyczkę z golarki.
C2Wciśnij przycisk blokujący i otwórz część
golącą.
C3Przez jakiś czas płucz element golący i
komorę na ścięty zarost w ciepłej, bieżącej
wodzie.
C4Zostaw element golący otwarty, by mógł
dokładnie wyschnąć.
Komorę na ścięty zarost można też czyścić na
sucho, używając specjalnej załączonej szczoteczki.
Co pół roku: trymer
1Wyłącz golarkę, wyjmij ładowarkę z
gniazdka ściennego oraz wtyczkę z golarki.
C2Oczyść trymer za pomocą szczoteczki.

C3Co 6 miesięcy należy naoliwić ząbki
trymera kroplą oleju maszynowego.
Wymiana głowic
Aby zawsze osiągać najlepsze rezultaty, wymieniaj
głowice golące co dwa lata.
1Wyłącz golarkę, wyjmij ładowarkę z
gniazda ściennego oraz wtyczkę z golarki.
C2Wciśnij przycisk blokujący, aby otworzyć
element golący.
C3Przekręć kółko w kierunku przeciwnym do
ruchu wskazówek zegara i zdejmij ramkę
zabezpieczającą.
C4Wyjmij głowice golące i włóż nowe do
części golącej w taki sposób, by elementy z
okrągłymi otworami były skierowane do
środka części golącej.
Upewnij się, czy części wystające głowic pasują
dokładnie w zagłębienia.
C5Złóż z powrotem część golącą, zakładając
ponownie ramkę zabezpieczającą.Wciśnij
kółko i przekręć je w kierunku zgodnym z
ruchem wskazówek zegara.

Jeśli głowice golące zostały założone poprawnie,
na górze części golącej będzie widoczna lśniąca
obręcz.
Zniszczone lub zużyte głowice golące należy
wymieniać wyłącznie na oryginalne głowice
Philishave HQ6 Quadra Action.
Przechowywanie
C◗Załóż na golarkę ochronną pokrywę, by
uniknąć uszkodzenia.
C◗Przechowuj urządzenie w saszetce lub na
podstawce. Podstawka może stać na płaskiej
powierzchni lub można ją przymocować do
ściany.
Aby przymocować podstawkę do ściany:
1Zdejmij podstawę z uchwytu, przekręcając
i pociągając za uchwyt.
C2Przymocuj podstawę do ściany.
3Zatrzaśnij uchwyt w podstawie.
Usuwanie akumulatorów
Gdy wyrzucasz golarkę, wyjmij z niej akumulatory.
Nie wyrzucaj akumulatorów z innymi odpadkami

domowymi, ale zanieś je do specjalnego punktu
zbiórki. Możesz je także zanieść do punktu
serwisowego firmy Philips, gdzie zostaną one
wyrzucone w sposób zgodny z przepisami o
ochronie środowiska.
Wyrzucaj tylko zupełnie wyczerpane akumulatory.
1Wyjmij wtyczkę z gniazda sieciowego i
odłącz małą wtyczkę od golarki.
C2Uruchom golarkę i poczekaj, aż przestanie
pracować, odkręć śrubki i otwórz golarkę.
3Wyjmij akumulatory.
Po wyjęciu akumulatorów nie podłączaj golarki do
sieci.
Rozwiązywanie problemów
1Zmniejszona wydajność golenia
BPrzyczyna 1: głowice golące są zanieczyszczone.
BGolarka nie była dostatecznie długo płukana lub
woda nie była wystarczająco ciepła.
◗Wymyj starannie golarkę, zanim znowu
przystąpisz do golenia (patrz: "Czyszczenie")
BPrzyczyna 2: długie włoski blokują głowice golące.
C◗Wyjmij ramkę zabezpieczającą.
◗Usuń włoski załączoną do golarki szczoteczką.

C◗Wyczyść ostrza i głowice.
Nie myj jednorazowo więcej niż jednego ostrza i
jednej głowicy, ponieważ tworzą one dopasowane
zestawy. Jeśli przypadkowo pomieszasz ostrza i
głowice, potrwa kilka tygodni, zanim ponownie
przywrócisz optymalną skuteczność golenia.
◗Załóż z powrotem blaszkę zabezpieczającą na
część golącą.
BPrzyczyna 3: głowice golące są uszkodzone lub

◗Wyjmij ramkę zabezpieczającą.
◗Wyjmij stare głowice z części golącej i zastąp
je nowymi
Uszkodzone lub zużyte głowice należy wymieniać
na oryginalne głowice Philishave HQ6 Quadra
Action.
◗Załóż z powrotem blaszkę zabezpieczającą na
część golącą.
2Golarka nie działa, gdy wciśnięty jest
włącznik (przycisk ON/OFF).
BPrzyczyna: akumulatory są wyczerpane.
◗Naładuj akumulatory.
