42" Flat Color Television
New plasma technology enables very wide viewing angles, flicker-free
picture and bright, vivid colors. Plasma displays replace conventional
picture tubes with a system of charged gases trapped between glass,
similar to a fluorescent light bulb.These charged gases react with red,
green and blue phosphors to create the pictures we see. Plasma
technology is the key that enables a 42" display to be under 6" deep.
Flat multimedia display allows unique installation possibilities and a
level of convenience never before seen with largescreen TV.The display
can be hung from the wall like a painting, or mounted on a stand for
easy movement and optimal placement.
Advanced connectivity enables compatibility with a wide variety of
analog and digital inputs. Support forVGA, SVGA and XGA allow
professional presentations and the ultimate gaming experience.

Anti-reflective Screen Coating reduces ambient light, resulting in a
clearer picture from almost any angle. Reduced glare and improved

Built-in Sound System supplies 13 Watts RMS measured at 1 Khz and
10% Total Harmonic Distortion.The sound system is also center mode
capable when connected to an external sound processor.
External Receiver unit(FTR9952) allows digital picture enhancements,
dual screen“picture in picture,” and multiple viewing modes.The receiver
can be conveniently located up to 32 feet from the monitor.When the
receiver is connected to a separate digital converter, Philips Flat TV is
