• Cleanthecabinetregularlywithcloth.You
canusesoft-detergenttowipeoutthe
stain,insteadofstrong-detergentwhichwill
cauterizetheproductcabinet.
• Whencleaning,makesurenodetergentis
leakedintotheproduct.Thecleaningcloth
shouldnotbetooroughasitwillscratch
thescreensurface.

ThefollowingsymptomsarenormalwithLCD
monitoranddonotindicateaproblem.
Note
• Duetothenatureofthefluorescentlight,
thescreenmayflickerduringinitialuse.Turn
offthePowerSwitchandthenturniton
againtomakesuretheflickerdisappears.
• Youmayfindslightlyunevenbrightness
onthescreendependingonthedesktop
patternyouuse.
• TheLCDscreenhaseffectivepixelsof
99.99%ormore.Itmayincludeblemishes
of0.01%orlesssuchasamissingpixelora
pixellitallofthetime.
• DuetothenatureoftheLCDscreen,an
afterimageofthepreviousscreenmay
remainafterswitchingtheimagewhenthe
sameimagehasbeendisplayedforalong
time.Themonitorwillslowlyrecoverfrom

butPhilipsguaranteesthatanymonitorwithan
unacceptablenumberofdefectswillberepaired
orreplacedunderwarranty.Thisnoticeexplains

toqualifyforrepairorreplacementunder
