Video Home System (VHS) equipment.ThisVCR is also equippedwith S-VHS
Quasi Playback(SQPB),allowingyou to playS-VHSrecordings with regular VHS
resolution. However,you may not record on S-VHStapeswith this VCR.
Thisproducthasa 19micron headwhichprovidesa better picturewhenyou view
tapesrecorded in slow speed(SLP).
PhilipsConsumerBectronicsCompanyrecommends that you useonlyvideocas-
settetapes that havebeentested and inspectedfor usein two, four,six,and eight
hourVCRs,andwhichare labeledwith the [_ mark.The useof tapesthat have
not beeninspectedfor useintwo, four,six,andeighthourVCRsmay result in poor
picturequalityand excessivedepositson the video heads,which maynot be cov-
ered bythe warranty ifdamageoccurs.
Note to the Cable'W System Installer:This reminder isprovided to call the Cable
TV system installers attention to Article 82040 of the National Electrical Code,
which provides guidelines for proper grounding - in particular, specifyingthat the
cable ground shall be connected to the grounding system of the buildin_ as close
to the point of cable entry as possible.
