DPU-N
Programming Adapter
DPU-N is a USB adapter. It allows the connection of a computer hosting the COMAX Upload/
Download application to PIMA’s Radio Transmitters and Fast Programmers, for programming them.
The DPU-N is used with the next devices: PRG-22/896, SAT-8/9/N, and TRV/TRU-100.
The driver of the DPU-N is installed as part of the COMAX installation package.

Connection Options
To program the Radio Transmitters:
1. Connect the DPU-N unit into a USB port on COMAX’s PC or laptop
2. Connect the telephone cable (RJ11) between the two connection boxes
3. Connect the Molex plug into the transmitter
To program the PRG programmers:
1. Connect the DPU-N unit into a USB port on COMAX’s PC or laptop
2. Connect the telephone cable (RJ11) between the connection box and the PRG
How to set the DPU-N in COMAX
To use the DPU-N in the COMAX, do the following:
1. Connect the DPU-N according to the desired device and the connection options on the
previous page
2. In COMAX, go to Tools Settings
3. Click the Direct tab
4. Select DPU-N from the drop-down list
5. Click OK
6. Open the desired device and program it. See the instructions in the COMAX guide.

Инструкция по установке
DPU - USB адаптер, производства компании PIMA, предназначенный для программирования
передатчиков и программаторов. Данный адаптер позволяет подключать к компьютеру, с
установленным на нем ПО COMAX, программируемые устройства и производить
загрузку/считывание их параметров.
Адаптер применяется для программирования следующих устройств:

SAT-N, SAT-8/9
TRV-100/TRU-100
В комплект поставки входит:

соединительной коробкой с розеткой RJ11

Активация адаптера DPU-N в ПО COMAX
Для работы с DPU-N в ПО COMAX, надо во вкладке "Прямое" (меню "Инструменты"/
"Настройки") в выпадающей выборке выбрать изделие DPU-N и нажать "Ok" для
подтверждения.
Внимание: Пользователь должен неукоснительно следовать руководству по эксплуатации изделия, и проверять
работоспособность прибора, а так же всей системы охраны, не реже, чем раз в неделю. В случае установления
неработоспособности, как изделия, так и всей системы в целом, пользователь должен предпринять все возможные
действия для обеспечения своей безопасности, а так же безопасности своего имущества.

El DPU-N (Direct Programming Unit modelo N) es una interface USB de PIMA para la
programación de los transmisores de radio TRV-100/TRU-100, las interfaces SAT-8/9 y SAT-N, y
los dispositivos de programación PRG-22 y PRG-896, a través del software COMAX de PIMA.

Opciones de Conexión
Para programar los transmisores de Radio y las interfaces SAT-8/9:
1. Inserte el conector USB al puerto USB de la PC o Laptop que tenga instalado el Comax
2. Conecte el cable telefónico (RJ11) entre las dos unidades de conexión
3. Conecte el conector Molex al transmisor o interface SAT-8/9
4. Para las instrucciones de programación de los dispositivos, por favor consulte el Manual de
cada producto
Para programar los programadores rápidos PRG22/896:
1. Inserte el conector USB al puerto USB de la PC o Laptop que tenga instalado el Comax
2. Conecte el cable de teléfono (RJ11) entre las dos cajas de conexión y el programador PRG.
3. Para las instrucciones de programación del PRG-22, por favor consulte el manual de
instalación del sistema de alarma Hunter-6.
Para las instrucciones de programación del PRG-896, por favor consulte el manual de
instalación del sistema de alarma Hunter-8 o Serie Hunter Pro.
Configurando el DPU-N en COMAX
En el menú principal de Comax, ingrese a la sección Herramientas –Configuración.
Ya en la ventana de Configuración, seleccione la pestaña “Directo”, y del menú desplegable
Puerto Directo seleccione DPU-N.
