recommended by the product manufacturer

WAÎER AND MOISTURE _ Do not US8 this
product near Water - for example, near a
bathtub, wash bowl, k¡tchen s¡nk, or laundry
tub; ¡n a wet bôsement; or near a swimming
pool; and the like.
ACCESSORIES - Do not place this product on
an unstâble cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or
table. The product may fall, caus¡ng serious
injury 1o a child or adult, and serious damage
to the product. Use only w¡th a carl, stand,
tripod, bracket, or table recommended by the
manufacturer, or sold w¡th the producl. Any
mounting of the product should follow the
manufacturer's instruct¡ons, and should use a
mounting accessory recommended by the
manufacturer.
CART - A product and cart combinat¡on should
be moved with care. Ou¡ck stops, excess¡ve
force, and uneven surfaces may cáuse the
product and carl comb¡nat¡on to overturn.
VENTILATION - Slots and openings in the
cabinet a16 provided for ventilation and to
ensure reliable operal¡on of the product and
to protect it from overheating, and these
openings must not be blocked or covered.
The openings should never be blocked by
placing the product on a bed, sofa, rug, or
other s¡m¡lar surface. This product should not
be placed in a built-in installôtion such as a
bookcase or rack unless proper venl¡lation ¡s
provided or the manufacturer's ¡nstructions
have been adhered to.
POWER SOURCES - This product should be
operated only from the type of power source
ind¡cated on the marking label. lf you are not
sure of the type of power
home, consult your product supply to your
dealer or local
power company.
GROUNDING OR POLARIZATION - This
product may be equipped with a polarized
alternating-current line plug (a plug having one
blade w¡der than the other). This plug will fit
¡nto the power outlet only one way. Th¡s is
a safety feature. lf you âre unable to inserl
the plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the
plug. lf the plug should still fa¡l to fit, contact
your electrician to replace your obsolete
outlet. Do not def€at the safêty purpose of
the polarized plug.
POWER.CORD PROTECTION - Power-supply
cords should be routed so that they are not
l¡kely to be wâlked on or pinched by items
placed upon or against them, pay¡ng particular
altention to cords at plugs, convenience
receptacles. ând the po¡nt where they exit
from the product.
OUTDOOR ANTENNA GROUNDING - ll an
outside antenna or cable system is connected
10 the product, be sure the antenna or cable
system is grounded so âs to prov¡de some
protection aga¡nst voltage surges and bu¡lt-up
stat¡c charges. Article 810 of the National
Electr¡cal Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, prov¡des
¡nformation with regard to proper ground¡ng
of the mast and support¡ng structure,
grounding of the lead-in w¡r€ to an antenna
discharge unit, s¡ze of ground¡ng conductors,
location of antenna-discharge unit, connection
to grounding electrodes, and requirements Tor
the grounding electrode. See F¡gure A.
LIGHTNING - For added protection for this
product during a lightning storm, or when ¡t
¡s left unattended and unused for long periods
of lime, unplug it from the wall oullet and
disconnect the êntenna or cable system. This
will prevent damag€ 1o the product due to
lightn¡ng and power-line surges.
POWER LINES - An outs¡de antenna system
should not be located in the vicinity of
overhead power lines or olher electric l¡ght
or power c¡rcuits, or where it can fall into
such power lines or c¡rcuits. When ¡nstalling
an outsidê ântenna system, extreme care
should be taken to keep from touching such
power lines or circuits as contact with them
might be fatal.
OVERLOADING - Do nol overload wall outlets,
extens¡on cords, or integral conven¡€nce
roceptacles as this can result in a risk of fire
or electr¡c shock.
OBJECT AND LIOUID ENTRY - Never push
objects of any kind into this product through
openings as they may touch dangerous
voltage points or short-oul parts that could
result in a fire or electric shock. Never spill
liquid of anV k¡nd on the product.
SERVICING - Do not attempt to service this
product yourself as opening or removing
covers may expose you 1o dangerous voltage
or other hazards. Refer all serv¡cing to
qualif ied service personnel.
DAMAGE BEOUIRING SERVICE - Unplug this
product from the wall outlet and refer
servicing 10 qualif¡ed service personnel under
the tollowing condit¡ons:
. When the power-supply cord or plug is
damaged.
o lf liqu¡d has been spilled, or objects have
fallen into the product.
. lf the product has been exposed to rain or
water.
. lf the product does not operate normally by
tollowing thê operat¡ng ¡nstructions. Adjust
only those conlrols that are covered by the
operating instruct¡ons as an improper
adjustment of other controls msy result in
damage and will often r€quire extens¡ve work
by a qualified techn¡c¡an to restore the
product to its normal operation.

in any way.

REPLACEMENT PARTS - When replacement
parts are required, be sure the service
technician has used replacement parts
