DKS Adapter | User Guide
Your PIVOT case is designed to provide superior device protection while combining
functionality and aesthetics. Following the recommendations in this guide will ensure
maximum performance with proper use of the DKS Adapter.

STEP 1: Slide the PIVOT DKS Adapter
onto the Thales DocKing Station. Ensure
that the adapter is firmly and securely in
place on the electrical pins on the top
edge of the DocKing Station.
Installing

STEP 2: If power to the tablet is required,
locate the USB-A ports on the DKS
Adapter. Insert charging cable as
needed.

There are two ports available.

Mounting Channel
Mounting Plate
STEP 3: Attach your PIVOT case to the DKS
adapter by aligning the mounting channel
above the mounting plate and guiding the case
onto the mounting plate. Your case is properly
installed when you hear an audible “CLICK”
when the case engages with the mounting
plate. If you do not hear an audible “CLICK”, the
case may not be properly installed.

PIVOT’s unique mounting systems are
universal and interchangeable, ensuring
your PIVOT case will securely connect to
every standard PIVOT mount: past, present,
and future.
WARNING! The mounting plate should slide smoothly into the case
mounting channel with very little resistance. If you encounter
resistance, the mounting plate may be misaligned. Do not force the
case on to the mount or damage may occur. Gently remove the case
from the mounting plate, confirm correct alignment, and reattempt
installation.

STEP 4: Once the PIVOT case is installed,
connect charging cable to the iPad as needed.

Removing
PIVOT case should be in portrait orientation
to access clip.
STEP 1: Unplug charging cable from the
device.
STEP 2: Press the PIVOT Clip to disconnect
the PIVOT case from the mounting plate
and slide the tablet to the side to remove it
from the DKS adapter.
The PIVOT DKS Adapter does not need to be removed from the Thales DocKing Station. We
suggest you leave the adapter in place on the aircraft. However, if removal is desired, press the
tab on the DocKing station (ADKS) and slide up to remove the DKS adapter from the ADKS
DocKing station.
