Waterslide Safety Plan
Hours of Operation: TBD per project or while attendant ispresent.
Attendant/Employee Responsibilities:
1. Start filtration system a minimum of three hours prior to
operating the slide
2. Walk slide, steps, landing, flume and platform prior to opening.
Ensure slide, steps, landing, flume and platform are clean and
safe. Check for any signs of sharp or rough fiberglass surface or
other deficiencies on the flume and tower. The slide will not be
opened ifany deficiencies are found.
3. Slide attendant will enforce all rules at all times.
4. If slide requires attendant: In the event the attendant leaves the
slide area, the slide will be turned off and everyone must exit the
slide area. Gate will be closed and locked until attendant returns.
5. Attendant will keep riders three (3) feet away from the slide
surface until the previous rider exits the bottom of the flume and
the area around the bottom of the slide iscompletely clear.
6. Riders will wait at the mid-stair landing orthe lower unit such
time asthe next rider iscleared to enter the slide surface.
7. Slide will be closed if lighting is detected in the area.
8. At closing, attendant will ensure that the filtration system will
remain on for a minimum of three (3) hours.
