Assemble and weld all of the metal tubes. Insert metal tube C into metal tube D. Weld tubes A to
opposite ends of tube C, and weld tubes B in a cross between tubes A.
Take the assembled metal piece from step 3 and place it on the wood plank at about center. Use the
pre-drilled holes in the metal plates to mark the wood. Next, drill holes at the markings. Then, attach
the wood and metal pieces together with bolts, nuts, and washers.

Cut through the tire tread. First, use a utility knife to cut the rubber of the tire tread until you reach the
steel wire. Next, use a thin metal blade grinder to cut through the steel wire. Then, cut the rest of the
rubber with the utility knife. Finally, use a thick grinder blade to smooth the surface. Run your finger
along the surface of the cut to make sure it is smooth.
Cut the sidewalls off five car tires.

Dig holes to bury the tires into the ground. Tires must be buried at least half way into the
ground to better secure them. The height of the top of the timber to the surface of the ground
should be about 30 cm, which is lower than a normal seesaw.
Dig holes to bury the rebar into the
ground. Next, pour in concrete for
the base. Then, place the rebar into
the hole and fill the hole with
concrete mix.

Place a cut tire tread over the ends
of the wood planks at each corner.
Then, drill holes through the tire
treads and wood, and attach them
together with bolts and washers.
Using the tire tread that was cut in half,
place the tire tread along the side of
the wood plank for the bumper bar.
Next, drill two holes through the tire
treads into the wood on both sides of
the wood plank. Then, attach the tire
tread to the wood plank with bolts,
nuts, and washers. Tread should be
touching the ground on both sides
when the seesaw is horizontal.
