NOTE: If you are installing the zero clearance blower on models PHZCI28NG, PHZCI28LP, PHZCI32NG,
PHZCI32LP, please proceed to page 5.
NOTE: If you are installing the zero clearance blower on PHZC32C, PHZC36C, and PHZC42C models, refer
to the installation instructions provided with the kit for electrical wiring requirements, or the blower installation
section. The rebox must be connected to a main power supply at the time of the rebox installation. The
electrical connections must be made before the rebox is framed and enclosed in the nished walls. For the
most convenient installation, install the blower PRIOR to the installation of the vent-free heater. As long as
electrical connections have been installed at the time of the rebox installation, the blower can be installed
later. Please refer to your rebox owners manual for more information about the electrical connection.
NOTE: If an electrical connection has NOT been installed in the rebox, the blower CANNOT be
installed.

Blower Installation Instructions:
1. Lower the bottom grill assembly and remove
the blower mounting bracket attached to the
inner back wall of the rebox with a #2 phillips
screw driver.
2. Attach the blower to the bracket with the (4)
sheet metal screws included in the blower kit
as shown in Figure 15.
3. Re-install the bracket insuring the blower
outlet is pointed upward.
4. Plug in the cord to the properly grounded
3-prong receptacle.

1. Remove top grill (if frame is not already removed).

3. Assemble the zero clearance blower and the
removed bracket together by screwing x4 screws into
the top of the bracket.
CAUTION: Label all wires prior to disconnection when servicing controls. Wiring errors can cause
improper and dangerous operation. Verify proper operation after servicing.
NOTE: If any of the original wire as supplied with the appliance must be replaced, it must be replaced with a
wire of at least an equal temperature rating.
NOTE: The rebox must be connected to a main power supply at the time of the rebox installation. If an elec-
trical connection has not been installed in the rebox, the blower will NOT be able to be installed. Please refer
to your rebox owners manual for more information about the electrical connection.
If you are installing the zero clearance blower on models: PHZCI28LP / PHZCI28NG / PHZCI32LP /
PHZCI32NG, please follow the instructions below.

7. To use the blower, plug it in. If you've installed a single pole switch, ip the switch to turn
it on. If you don't have the switch, as soon as it is plugged in, it will begin to blow.
8. To shut off the blower, ip the switch to off. Or, if you don't have a switch, unplug the unit.

MAINTENANCE OF MOTORS
Always disconnect the appliance from the main power supply and allow it to cool
before any servicing operation. The motor used on the blower is pre-lubricated
for extended bearing life and requires no further lubrication. However, periodic
cleaning/vacuuming of the appliance around the air intake and exhaust, as well
as the blower is recommended. For heavy or continuous use, periodic cleaning
must be done more frequently. If the heater blows alternating cold and warm
air, check the blower for free movement and for debris restricting air ow. If the
blower does not move freely, the unit must be turned off and the blower replaced
immediately in order to prevent further damage to the unit.
WARNING: Make sure all power to the appliance is turned OFF
before proceeding.

NOTA: Si va a instalar el ventilador de espacio libre cero en los modelos PHZCI28NG, PHZCI28LP, PHZCI32NG, PHZCI32LP, vaya a la página 5.
NOTA: Si está instalando el ventilador de espacio libre cero en los modelos PHZC32C, PHZC36C y PHZC42C, consulte las instrucciones de

Instrucciones de instalación del soplador:
1. Baje el conjunto de la parrilla de la parte inferior
y retire el soporte de montaje del soplador fijado a
la pared interna de atrás de la chimenea usando un
destornillador Phillips n.º2.
2. Fije el soplador al soporte usando los (4) tornillos
de chapa de metal incluidos en el kit del soplador,
como se muestra en la Figura15.
3. Vuelva a instalar el soporte, asegurándose que la
salida del soplador apunte hacia arriba.
4. Enchufe el cable al tomacorriente de 3patas con
conexión a tierra.

1. Retire la parrilla superior (si aún no se ha retirado el marco).

NOTA: La cámara de combustión debe estar conectada a una fuente de alimentación principal en el momento de la instalación de
la cámara de combustión. Si no se ha instalado una conexión eléctrica en la cámara de combustión, NO se podrá instalar el
ventilador. Consulte el manual del propietario de su cámara de combustión para obtener más información sobre la conexión
eléctrica.

MANTENIMIENTO DE MOTORES
Siempre desconecte el dispositivo de la fuente de energía principal y deje que se
enfríe antes de cualquier operación de servicio. Los motores usados en el soplador
de llama están prelubricados para prolongar la vida del cojinete y no requieren
lubricación adicional. Sin embargo, recomendamos que se limpie/aspire de forma
periódica el dispositivo alrededor de la entrada de aire y escape, así como también el
soplador. Para uso pesado o continuo, la limpieza periódica debe hacerse con más
frecuencia. Si el calefactor sopla de forma alterna aire frío y caliente, compruebe el
libre movimiento del soplador y busque desechos que restrinjan el ujo de aire. Si el
soplador no se mueve líbremente, la unidad debe apagarse y reemplazarse el soplador
de inmediato con el n de evitar daños futuros a la unidad.
ADVERTENCIA: Asegúrese de que toda la energía al dispositivo esté
APAGADA antes de proceder.

GARANTÍA LIMITADA:
Esta garantía limitada se extiende al comprador original al por menor de este conjunto de leños a gas de tiro natural y garantiza contra cualquier defecto
en materiales y mano de obra durante un periodo de un (1) año a partir de la fecha de venta al por menor. GHP Group, Inc., a su opción, proporcionará
piezas de reemplazo o reparará la unidad cuando sea devuelta apropiadamente a la tienda minorista donde se compró o a uno de nuestros centros de
servicio como lo indica GHP Group, Inc., dentro de un (1) año a partir de la compra al por menor. (Los costos de envío, costos de mano de obra, etc.
son responsabilidad del comprador.)
DEBERES DEL PROPIETARIO:
Este aparato de calefacción debe ser operado de acuerdo con las instrucciones escritas proporcionadas con este soplador. Esta garantía no excusa al
propietario de darle mantenimiento apropiado a este soplador de acuerdo con las in strucciones escritas proporcionadas con este soplador. Debe
conservarse un recibo, cheque cancelado o registro de pago para comprobar la fecha de compra y establecer el periodo de la garantía. Debe
conservarse la caja original en caso de retorno de garantía de la unidad.
LO QUE NO ESTÁ CUBIERTO:
1. Daños que resulten del uso de combustible inapropiado.
2.
Daños causados por mal uso o uso contrario al manual de propietario y pautas de seguridad.
3.
Daños causados por falta de mantenimiento normal.
4.
Uso de piezas o accesorios no estándar.
5.
Daños causados durante el tránsito. Los cargos por flete sobre las piezas de la garantía o calefactores hacia y desde la fábrica serán
responsabilidad del propietario.
Esta garantía no implica ni asume ninguna responsabilidad por daños consecuentes que puedan resultar del uso, mal uso o falta de mantenimiento
rutinario de este aparato de calefacción. Se puede cargar un cargo por limpieza y el costo de las piezas para fallas del aparato que resulten de la falta
de mantenimiento. Esta garantía no cubre reclamos que no involucren mano de obra o materiales defectuosos.
NO REALIZAR EL MANTENIMIENTO
GENERAL (INCLUYENDO LA LIMPIEZA) ANULARÁ ESTA GARANTÍA.
ESTA GARANTÍA LIMITADA SE LE DA AL COMPRADOR EN LUGAR DE TODAS LAS OTRAS GARANTÍAS, EXPRESAS O IMPLÍCITAS,
INCLUYENDO PERO NO LIMITADAS A LAS GARANTÍAS DE COMERCIALIZACIÓN O IDONEIDAD PARA UN PROPÓSITO PARTICULAR. LA
REPARACIÓN PROPORCIONADA EN ESTA GARANTÍA ES EXCLUSIVA Y SE OTORGA EN LUGAR DE TODAS LAS OTRAS REPARACIONES. EN
NINGÚN CASO GHP GROUP, INC. SERÁ RESPONSABLE DE NINGÚN DAÑO INCIDENTAL O CONSECUENTE.
Algunos estados no permiten limitaciones sobre cuánto debe durar una garantía, por lo tanto las limitaciones anteriores podrían no aplicar a usted.
Algunos estados no permiten la exclusión o la limitación de los daños incidentales o consecuentes, por lo tanto, es posible que la exclusión o las
limitaciones antes indicadas no correspondan a usted.

Si la tienda minorista no puede resolver el problema, póngase en contacto con el Departamento de Servicio al Cliente detallando el modelo del
soplador, el problema y la prueba de la fecha de compra.

Un representante se pondrá en contacto con usted. NO DEVUELVA EL SOPLADOR A GHP GROUP, INC. a menos que se lo indique nuestro
representante. Esta garantía le otorga derechos legales específicos y también puede tener otros derechos que varían de un estado a otro.
