1. Connect a 3-Pin Male to 3-Pin Female XLR from any available 2-Wire port of the existing 2-Wire Interface to the Male
2-Wire Connector of the Hollyland 2-/4-Wire Converter. (If power is not supplied by the 2-Wire interface, then a USB
power source may be required for the Hollyland Converter.)
2. Plug in the 3-Pin XLR Female & Male connectors from the Y-Cable into the Hollyland 4-Wire Connectors.
3. Connect power to the Pliant 4-Wire Converter and MicroCom XR BeltPack. The converter and beltpack come with power
cables but not AC/DC wall adapters.
a. Plug the USB-C end of the supplied cable into the Pliant 4-Wire Converter.
a. Plug the USB-Micro end of the supplied cable into the Primary MicroCom XR Beltpack.
a. Using a user-supplied AC/DC wall adapter(s), connect power to both the Pliant 4-Wire Converter and MicroCom XR
BeltPack via the USB-A end of both the cables.
4. Plug in the 3.5mm mini jack from the Y cable into the line I/O connector (top at portion) of the Pliant 4-Wire Converter.
5. Take the dual 3.5mm mini headset connector from the Pliant 4-Wire Converter and plug it into the MicroCom XR
BeltPack headset connector.
Note: Connector into beltpack should be facing as shown in image on the right (with cord towards the inside). It
will be a snug t against the power cable.
6. If not already completed, remove the antenna (reverse threaded) from the beltpack and connect the coax cable from the
external magnetic antenna. Extension may be required.
7. By pressing the power button on the beltpack and moving the switch on the Pliant 4-Wire Converter, power both units
on and conrm wireless operation between all beltpacks.
8. Make sure all users, including remote users, remove their headsets/earpieces and ensure the 4W IN and 4W OUT
switches on the Hollyland 2-/4-Wire Converter are set to +6. Press the large Auto Null button on the converter. After
pressing, a tone will be generated for a short period of time, and the large lit button should turn green. Auto Null is now
complete.
Note: If the Hollyland 2/4-Wire Converter is powered off for any reason (possibly from an 2-Wire interface reset or
loss of power), auto null must be completed again.
Note: If 2-Wire cable lengths are more than approx. 300 ft., adjust the dip switches on the far left of the Hollyland
2/4-Wire Converter accordingly.
9. Once all of the above steps are conrmed, make sure that everyone in all locations can communicate with each other.
