suchuse.Theproducthasbeenbuiltinaccordancewith
state-of-the-artstandardsandrecognisedsafetyregulations.
Onlyusethisproductwhenintechnicallyperfectconditionin
accordancewithitsintendeduseandtheinstructions
explainedintheusermanual.

upsidedown(hangingfromthestand,notshown).
ToinstallthefanonanMB-FUA-S1/S2 stand,proceedas
follows:

4.3 Electric connection
ATTENTION!
Electric connection to be executed in accordance
withlocalrequirements.Ensurecompliancewiththe
EMCregulatoryarrangements.
WARNING!
Makesurethatthefanissuitableforconnectionto
thelocalmains.Informationabouttheconnection
voltageandfrequencycanbefoundonthe
identicationplate.Thecablesmustbeconnectedin
conformancewiththelocalrulesandregulations
andcanonlybecarriedoutbyqualiedand
authorisedtechnicians.
Thedefaultsettingforthe3~fansis400V.Ifanothervoltage
isused,thewiringmustbechangedaccordingtothe
instructionsontheidenticationplate.
Toconnectthestartingdevice,proceedasfollows:
• Connectthefantothechosenstartingdeviceaccordingto
theinformationontheidenticationplateonthemotor.
• Connectthestartingdevicetothemainsaccordingtothe
separatelysuppliedelectricaldiagram.
• Checkthedirectionofrotationofthemotor.Forthis
purposethefancontainsanarrowindicatingtheprescribed
directionofrotation.Therotationisvisiblethroughthegrid
ofthemotor.
• Ifnecessary,inverttheconnectionofthephases.
5 USE
Refertothedocumentationsuppliedwiththeselectedcontrol
equipmenthowtocontrolthefan.
6 MAINTENANCE
Thefansrequirenospecicmaintenance.

Iftheproductdoesnotfunction(correctly),consultthe

PlymoVent offers a wide range of fans, fulfilling every demand for fans designed
forworkshops.Thefansareequippedwithanon-sparkingimpellerofaluminium,
especially designed to resist welding fumes, dust and oilmist. Matched diameter
of inlet and outlet (1300-2101) provides a smooth continuous airflow and a high
capacity.ByusingPlymoVent´sautomaticcontrolequipmentforenergysaving
(ES-90, ASE-12 and M-1000) the performance of the fan is utilized to its max-
imum, enabling a more efficient extraction rate and also reducing the energy
costs.Forinformationonancillarycontrolequipmentandaccessories,pleasesee
"SupplementaryEquipment".Thefansareintended
