Asennettaessa grilli grillikotaan, huvimajaan tai vastaavaan tilaan, huolehdi riittävästä korvausilman saannista. M8/M6 Grilliä varten tuli-
si tehdä 3-4 kpl halkaisijaltaan 150 mm aukkoja ja L8 Grilliä varten vähintään 4 kpl halkaisijaltaan 150 mm aukkoja. Huolehdi myös, että
ilmaa pääsee katoksen alle riittävästi kaikista suunnista. Vaihtoehtoisesti voidaan myös asentaa katoksen alle korvausilmaputkia. Grilli
täytyy asentaa tukevalle ja tasaiselle alustalle.
If the grill is placed inside a cabin/hut, place the grill on a steady platform and take care of ventilation e. g. by assembling ventilation
pipes under the grill. 3-4 x 150 mm ventilation pipes are recommended. Also make sure there is a steady flow of fresh air into the
fireplace from every compass point.

1.Käännä grillin tulipesä ylösalaisin tasaiselle alustalle niin, ettei
tulipesä pääse naarmuttumaan ja lisää korimutterit jokaiseen
neliöreikään tulipesän alaosassa.
2. Jalat yhdistetään toisiinsa sekä tulipesään pulteilla ja kori-
muttereilla kuvan osoittamista paikoista. Aloita laittamalla ensin
toinen jalka paikoilleen tulipesään, sitten toinen jalka tulipesään
ja lopuksi jalat toisiinsa. Jalat tulevat niin, että aukon kohdalle jää
vedonsäätöpellin vedin (kuva 3).
3. Kierrä vetonuppi kiinni vedonsäätöpellin varteen.
4. Käännä grilli oikeinpäin ja laita arina paikoilleen, niin että
P-logo on samalla sivulla kuin vetopellin nuppi. Laske kipinäverkot
paikoilleen. Työnna tuhkalaatikko paikoilleen kiskoon.
5. Halsterin kokoaminen. Työnnä kannake halsterin varressa
olevaan niittiin asti, niin että niittimutteri jää kahvan puolelle.
Kierrä siipimutteri kannakkeessa olevaan niittimutteriin, mutta älä
kiristä vielä.
6. Kiinnitä halsteri halsterin varteen kahdella pultilla.
7. Kierrä puinen kahva kiinni pieneen tasoon. Jos asennat huuvan
jatka kohdasta 10.

1. Turn fireplace upside down on an even surface to prevent the
fireplace from being scratched. Add a cage nut to each square
hole located at the bottom of the fireplace.
2. Attach base part to each other and to the fireplace with hex
socket screws and cage nuts (see picture).
3. Attach pull knob to the handle of the regulating plate.
4. Turn the grill fireplace upwards and place cast iron grid as
shown in the picture (P-logo should be on the same side as the
pull knob of the regulating plate). Place sparknet into the holes
on top of the grill. Put ashbox under the fireplace.
5. Assemble the gridiron. Place the holder into the shaft of the
grid iron. Make sure the holder is in the same position as shown
in the picture.
6. Attach the shaft to the gridiron with two bolts.
7. Attach wooden handle to the small grid iron. If you are also
assembling a Hood, move to point 10.

8. Käännä kaari kuvan mukaisesti ylösalaisin ja asenna toiselle
puolelle yksi lukitusrengas ja toiselle puolelle ensin kahvipannun
koukku ja sen jälkeen kaksi lukitusrengasta.
9. Laita kaari paikoilleen kuvan mukaisesti, kahvipannun koukku
oikealle puolelle. Siirry kohtaan 14.
10. Laita pystyputket paikoilleen. Laita lukitusrenkaat putkiin,
vasemmalle puolelle yksi ja oikealle puolelle kaksi. Jätä oikealla
puolella lukitusrenkaiden väliin rakoa. Lisää tässä vaiheessa
ainakin kahvipannun koukku. Muut voit lisätä myöhemmin.
11. Huuvan asentaminen. Käännä huuva ylösalaisin
tasaiselle alustalle ja kiinnitä huuvan kannakkeet huuvaan
kupukantapulteilla, aluslevyillä ja siipimuttereilla.

8. Turn curved pipe upside down. Assemble one locking ring (with
butterfly nut) on one side of the curved pipe. Put hook for coffee
pot on the other side of the curved pipe as seen in the picture
and then assemble two locking rings on the same side of the
curved pipe.
9. Assemble pipes into the grill so that hook for the coffee pot is
on your right. Move to point 14.
10. Assemble pipes into the grill. Assemble locking rings (with
butterfly nuts) on the pipes; one on the left pipe and two on the
right pipe. Attach hook for coffee pot on the right pipe. Rest of
the grill equipment can be added later.
11. Assembling hood. Turn hood upside down on an even
surface to prevent it from being scratched. Attach two holders to
the hood with square neck bolts, washers and butterfly nuts as
shown in the picture.

12. Laske huuva putkiin.
13. Pyöräytä kaulus piipun uraan ja pujota lipareet aukkoihin,
kiristä ja taita lipareet.
14. Asenna piiput huuvan päälle, kuvan mukaisessa järjestyksessä.
Katolta asennettavat osat: Läpivientipiippu kauluksella edellisen
piipun osan sisään. Asenna sadehattu (pitkä siipiruuvi). Tiivistä
kuumankestävällä tiivistemassalla piipun ja kauluksen sauma.
15. Laita pieni taso ja halsteri paikoilleen taittamalla tasoa ja
työntämällä putkeen. Katso, että halsterin kiinnike on oikeinpäin.
Lukitusrengas voi olla tason kiinnikkeen alapuolella tai välissä.
16. Kiinnitä pöytätason kannakkeet puisiin pöytätasoihin. Katso,
että kannake tulee oikeinpäin kiinni tasoon! Asenna pöytatasot
paikoilleen (katso sivu 2).
Assembling hood and chimney pipes

*Not always included. If not, instead assemble 100 cm chimney
pipe (nr 3.) first.
12. Lift the hood into its place. Attach pipes into the holders.
13. Place rain cover around the pleat on the roof pipe. Put the
fasteners on the rain cover through its holes, fasten them and
fold the fasteners.
14. Assemble chimneys on top of the hood according to the
picture. Roof pipe 100 cm with rain cover is assembled from the
roof and goes inside foregoing chimney. Assemble rainhat (with
long butterfly nut). Seal seam of the roof pipe and the rain cover
with heat resistant silicon.
15. Assemble grid iron into the left pipe (above the locking ring)
and small grid iron into the right pipe (above the locking ring).
16. Attach metal holders into wooden table parts with screws as
shown in the picture. Place them around the grill. Wooden table
parts are made of non-treated wood and should be oiled, painted
or lacquered before use.

Puhdistus ja hoito
• Puhdista tulisija palamisjätteistä heti käytön jälkeen.
• Puhdistamisen jälkeen öljyä tulisijan tulipinnat ruokaöljyllä.
• Tyhjennä tuhka-astia säännöllisesti, muuten arina on vaarassa palaa käyttökelvottomaksi ennenaikaisesti ja kuumia hiiliä voi tippua
lattialle. Tuhkan täytyy antaa jäähtyä ennen tyhjennystä. Työnnä tuhkalaatikko aina perille asti.
• Jos grilli on kodassa, huvimajassa tai vastaavassa rakennuksessa kiinteästi asennettuna, peitä piippu talvisäilytyksen ajaksi niin,
ettei lunta pääse tulisijan päälle.
• Pöytälaudat ovat käsittelemätöntä puuta. Käsittele laudat öljyämällä, lakkaamalla tai maalaamalla ennen käyttöönottoa.
• Säilytä grilli kuivassa tilassa.
TAKUU
Polar Metalli Oy myöntää työ- ja materiaalitakuun Polar Grill tulisijaan seuraavin ehdoin:
• Takuun voimassaoloaika on yksi vuosi ostopäivästä (12 kk).
• Takuun edellytyksenä on luotettava selvitys ostopaikasta ja ajasta esim. kassakuitti.
• Takuu korvaa takuuaikana havaitut työ- ja materiaalivirheet
TAKUU EI KORVAA
Normaalista käytöstä johtuvaa kulumista, esimerkiksi maalin palaminen.
Käyttövirheistä, huolimattomuudesta, puutteellisesta hoidosta ja muista ulkopuolisista tekijöistä aiheutuvia vaurioita.
Rahti- ja matkakustannuksia tai muita välillisiä kustannuksia.
MENETTELY VIRHETILANTEISSA
Näkyvästä mahdollisesta kuljetusvahingosta on tehtävä ilmoitus heti ja piilevästä vahingosta on tehtävä ilmoitus viiden vuorokauden
kuluessa tavaran vastaanottamisesta. Polar Metalli Oy korjaa kustannuksellaan tuotteen virhettä edeltävään kuntoon. Takuukorjaus ei
pidennä tuotteen eikä korjauksen kohteen takuuaikaa. Ostajan pitää ilmoittaa myyjälle tai valmistajalle kohtuullisessa ajassa siitä kun
hän havaitsi virheen tai hänen olisi pitänyt se havaita. Kohtuuullinen aika on normaalisti 14 vrk. Tämä takuu ei rajoita niitä oikeuksia,
jotka ostajalla kuluttajansuojalain mukaan on virheen perusteella.
Käyttöohje
ENSIMMÄINEN LÄMMITYS
Grilliä suositellaan lämmitettäväksi ennen ensimmäistä grillausta 30 minuuttia punahehkuisilla
hiilillä tai tulella.
TURVALLISUUS
• Älä lisää grillihiilien sytytysnestettä tai sytytysnesteellä kyllästettyjä grillihiiliä kuumille tai lämpimille hiilille.
• Sulje sytytysnestepullo käytön jälkeen ja laita se turvallisen matkan päähän grillistä.
• Älä käytä bensiiniä, alkoholia, tai muita voimakkaasti räjähdysherkkiä nesteitä grillihiilien sytyttämiseen.
• Älä jätä pikkulapsia, lapsia tai lemmikkieläimiä valvomatta kuuman grillin lähelle.
• Älä yritä siirtää kuumaa grilliä.
• Älä käytä grilliä puoltatoista metriä lähempänä tulenarkoja materiaaleja.
• Älä käytä grilliä ennen kuin kaikki osat ovat paikallaan.
• Älä poista tuhkaa ennen kuin kakki hiilet ovat täydellisesti palaneet ja täysin sammuneet.
• Älä käytä vaatteita, joissa on helposti valuvat hihat, sytyttäessäsi tai käyttäessäsi grilliä.
• Jos grilli on pihalla, älä käytä grilliä kovassa tuulessa.
• Älä koskaan koske grillausritilään tai kahvipannun koukkuun niiden ollessa kuumia.
• Grillikintaita tai patalappuja pitäisi aina käyttää suojaamaan käsiä kun grillataan
• Käytä kunnollisia grillausvälineitä, joissa on pitkät, kuumuuden kestävät kädensijat.
SYTYTYS
Avaa ilmansäätöpelti kokonaan auki sytytyksen ajaksi ja käännä halsteri pois tulipesän päältä
sytytyksen ajaksi. Grillissä voidaan käyttää grillihiiliä, brikettejä tai puita. Lisää polttoainetta
maksimissaan tulipesän korkeuden verran, kipinäverkko ei ole enää tulipesää.
PUUT
Asettele sopivan mittaiset puut tulipesän keskelle, puut eivät saa tulla yli tulipesästä. Sytytäpuut tuohen tai paperin avulla.
HIILET
Kaada hiiliä tai brikettejä tulipesän pohjalle ja lisää sytytysnestettä. Anna sytytysnesteen imeytyä ennen sytytttämistä.
SAMMUTUS
Anna tulen sammua ajallaan. Älä käytä vettä, koska se voi vahingoittaa grilliä.

Care Instructions For Polar Grill
• Clean the fireplace off combustion residue after use.
• After cleaning the fireplace oil it’s surfaces with cooking oil.
• Empty the fire box regularly to prevent iron grate from burning through prematurely. This way you will prevent hot coal from
• dropping on the floor. When emptying the ash box, make sure the ash has cooled down properly. Always push the ash box all the
way through.
• If the grill is firmly installed inside a grill hut/pavilion, cover the chimney pipe during winter to prevent snow from getting inside.
• Wooden tables are untreated wood and should be treated with oil, lacquer or paint before use.
• Keep the grill in a dry place.
GUARANTEE
Polar Metalli grants work- and material guarantee according to following conditions:
• Guarantee is valid for a period of one year (12 months) from the date of purchase by the original end-user purchaser.
• Guarantee covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
• Guarantee provides original receipt indicating the place and date of purchase and product.
GUARANTEE DOES NOT COVER:
• Usual wear and tear of paint or other parts
• Damages resulting from misuse, carelessness, defective maintenance or other external factors
• Indirect costs such as carriage
PROCEDURE IN CASE OF A DEFECT
Transport damages are to be reported immediately after receiving the goods. Latent defects are to be reported within five days from
receiving the goods. Polar Metalli Oy will restore the product free of charge. Guarantee repair does not extend the guarantee of the
product or the repaired part. Buyer is to notify the seller or the manufacturer about the defect in a reasonable time. Reasonable time
is usually 14 days from noticing the defect. This guarantee does not limit the rights the buyer has according to consumer protection
policy.
Instructions for Use
FIRST COOKING
It is recommended to heat up the grill and keep the fuel red hot for at least 30 minutes prior
to the first cooking on the grill. Do not cook before the fuel has a coating of ash.
SAFETY
• Do not add lighter fluid or coal imbued with lighter fluid on hot charcoal/firewood.
• Always close lighter fluid bottle after use and place it within safe distance from the grill.
• Do not use petrol, spirit or comparable fluids för lighting or re-lighting.
• Do not leave children or pets unsupervised near fire.
• Do not attempt to move a hot grill.
• Do not place the grill near flammable materials. Minimum 1,5 m distance from the grill is recommended.
• Do not use the grill until it is fully assembled.
• Do not remove ash from the ash basin until all fuel has fully burned out.
• When using the grill it is not recommended to wear clothes with slouchy sleeves.
• If the grill is in the yard do not use it in heavy wind.
• Never touch the grid irons or hook for coffee pot when they’re hot.
• Always use oven mitts or kettle holders to protect your hands when handling the grill.
• Always use proper grilling tools with long, heat-resistant handholders.
LIGHTING THE GRILL
Use charcoal, briquettes or firewood as fuel. Never add more fuel than the height of the fireplace. Sparknet is not part of the fireplace.
When lighting the grill fully open air regulator and turn grid irons away from the fire.
WOOD
Stack firewood to the center of the fireplace. Firewood should be small enough not to come out of the fireplace. Light the firewood
using birch bark or paper.
CHARCOAL
Stack charcoal/briquettes to the bottom of fireplace and add lighter fluid. Let the lighter fluid soak in before lighting the grill.
PUTTING OUT FIRE
Let the fire burn out by itself. Do not use water to burn it out as it can damage the grill.
