1. General information
This manual contains information about the area of use, handling,
transport, assembly, usage and maintenance. When using and
maintaining the product one should refer to this manual.
Weight without water: 240 kg
Total weight including water: 1890 kg
Capacity: 1650 l
The total weight does not include the weight of people bathing
in the tub. When mounting the tub, make sure that the ooring is
adapted for the total weight plus the weight of assumed users.

1.2 Denitions
• Product - Hottub with electric heater
• Handling – Transport, assembly or maintenance of the product
• Usage – Using the product after handling and assembling the
product in the correct manner.
• Assembly – Mounting the dierent parts
• Transport –
Moving the product from one place to another.
Transport also includes lifting the product on the plot.
• Other risks – Risks that occur when using the product
• Maintenance – Actions related to cleaning, reparation or replacing
parts of the product
• Operator –
The person who’s responsible for the transport,
handling, assembly or maintenance of the product.
• Warranty –
The time post sale when Polhus is responsible for
the product’s technical condition. The warranty period is 36
months post purchase, except for the parts which have a 24
months warranty.
• Hot tub – The part of the hot tub which is lled with water
• Equipment – Filter, pump and heater (see image 1) which have
been mounted in the hot tub to heat up and clean the water in
the tub.

1.3 Warnings
The warranty only applies if you follow this manual and meet the
requirements of it. The product may only be handled and maintained
by operators who have read this manual and understood its contents.
Operators must be at least 18 years of age and wear protective gear.
If a hazardous situation arises during handling or use of the product,
all activities must cease immediately. If needed, call the emergency
services.
Mounting and maintenance may only be performed by operators who
are familiar with the tasks and can perform the work. If any changes
are made to the product’s construction Polhus must inspect and
conrm these changes.
When handling, assembling, maintaining or using the product and
its parts one must follow all the required state laws and regulations
(in addition to the contents of this manual) to ensure the users safety
and the validity of the warranty.
The warranty does not apply if the buyer has changed the construction
of the product or used non-original parts without Polhus approval.

2. Area of use
This hot tub is suitable for outdoor use all year round. The water in
the tub can be heated with an electric heater. We have a seperate
manual for the electric heater. This is not covered in this manual.
Use of the product other than for its intended purpose is prohibited.
DANGER!
Using the product indoors is strictly prohibited.
Such use may result in serious injury or death.
PLEASE NOTE!
Using the product in the wrong way may damage
the product or cause damage to health.
CAREFUL!
Using non-original parts can cause damage to
the product and mortal danger.

3. Transport and assembly
3.1 Transport
The hot tub is transported on a pallet, standing on one side.
Before opening the package you should inspect it to make sure it
hasn’t been damaged during transport. If you discover any damage,
you should indicate this on the transport document (CMR).
Remove the cardboard and plastic packaging material from the
product before assembly. Remove any equipment that has been
packed inside the hot tub before turning it over.
The weight of the package is about 240 kg. It takes at least three
people to turn the hot tub into its correct position. If possible,
you should use lifting equipment. When the hot tub is in the
correct position, the pallet can be removed from the side.

3.2 Assembly
When you’ve opened the package you should check that all of the
parts shown in picture 1 are there. If anything is missing please
register this as a claim on our website.
The package includes the following parts:
1. Fiberglass hot tub
2. Thermowood panel and separate equipment cabinet
3. Filter system
4. Electric heater
5. Pumping system
6. Short hose (2 pcs)
7. Filter balls

Correct mounting sequence:
1. Remove the cardboard and plastic packaging from the dierent parts.
2. Prepare a at and hard surface and place the hot tub there
3. Remove the equipment cabinet door. Unscrew the round screws
in the lower corner of the cover (shown with an arrow in Figure 3)
and lift the cover o.

The power supply to the equipment cabinet as shown in Figure 5
must be provided by a qualied electrician. The electrical part of
the installation must be carried out in accordance with the applicable
regulations and standards.

1. Attach a short hose to the opening/entry for the lter and heating
system and tighten the clamp.
2. Mount the lter system in the equipment cabinet according to
gure 6. Refer to the Filter system manual when installing it.
The mounting base for the lter system is not necessary when
placing it in the equipment cabinet.

3. Connect the electric heater to the short hose you already mounted
and tighten the clamp. Attach it to the metal bracket. Refer to the
Electric Heater Manual when mounting the electric heater.

4.
Install the pumping system in the equipment cabinet according
to gure 8. When installing the pumping system, refer to the pumping
system manual.

5. Mount the rest of the hoses according to gure 9 and tighten
the clamps.
6.
Connecting the electric heater and pumping system to the sockets
in the equipment cabinet (see gure 5).
7. Mount the door to the equipment cabinet and fasten the screws.

4. Usage
Before using the hot tub, please read this instruction and check the
following points:
1. Check that the installation has been carried out correctly
(according
to these instructions)
2. Before switching on the equipment, check that the water in the
hot tub is at least 5 cm above the opening/entry to the lter and
heating system (top opening).
3. Check that the drain plug of the hot tub is closed.
4. Check that the hot tub is not leaking.
5. Check that the hoses are not leaking.
6. Check that the hot tub, equipment and the hoses in between have
been installed correctly (see gure 3 and 10)
7. Check that the temperature of the water is appropriate for usage
with a thermometer.
The use of the lter system, pumping system and electric heater
should be in accordance with the respective operating instructions.
DANGER!
The hot tub equipment must not be switched
on before the hot tub is lled with water.

While the electric heater is heating, the water supply should be secured.
Recommended water temperature is 35-38 °C. Higher temperatures
may cause health problems.
If you wish to keep the water in the hot tub for a longer period of
time and avoid changing the water after each use, we recommend
using pool cleaning salts or Dutrion pool cleaning tablets according to
the instructions for use. Do not use rough materials or sharp objects
to clean the hot tub.
If you do not use the hot tub, it should be covered. It is not allowed
to sit, stand or walk on the cover! In winter, do not let the water freeze
in equipment or hoses.
CAREFUL!
Using chlorine or other chemicals not approved by
Polhus may void the warranty.
CAREFUL!
Improper maintenance or use may void the warranty.

5. Other hazards
Other hazards are risks that remain after the product’s safety measures
have been put into use.
DANGER!
Don’t leave children unattended in the hot tub or
in its proximity. Drowning hazard!
6. Maintenance
It is recommended to wash the hot tub after each use. The hot
tub may be cleaned with a pressure washer, but you can also use
household items such as rags or sponges.
Disconnect from the main electric supply before maintenance,
cleaning or any kind of change in the equipment cabinet. The wooden
panels of the hot tub should be treated with wood oil once a year.
Maintenance of the lter system, pump system and electrical elements
should be carried out according to the respective operating instructions.

Wet surfaces can be slippery. Danger of injury!

7. Warranty
The warranty concerns defects in materials and production defects,
and is valid for 36 months except for equipment which is guaranteed
for 24 months. The warranty is valid if the user has read and complied
with the product’s operating and maintenance instructions.
NOTE! For products for commercial use, other warranties apply.
• The warranty does not apply to defects that are characteristic
of wood, such as changes in colour, changes due to periodic
moisture, cracks, etc.
• Frost damage is not covered, as it is possible to avoid it with
proper use of the product. Damage caused by extreme situations or
other extreme weather phenomena is not covered by the warranty.
• Normal wear and tear due to use is not covered by the warranty.
The warranty also does not cover colour changes in the plastic
parts of the hot tub caused by chemicals or sunlight.
• The warranty does not cover corrosion damage due to misuse
of chemicals.
• The warranty also does not cover other costs such as construction
or demolition of the terrace.
• The warranty does not cover damage caused by water that has
entered the bubble system, as such damage can be avoided
with proper use.
• The warranty is void if you attempt to modify or repair the product
on your own, or if it is used improperly.
• The warranty does not apply if the product has been stored in
the wrong position or in the wrong environment.
• The guarantee is valid if the buyer informs the supplier within
a reasonable time (7 days) of the defect becoming apparent.
The buyer must clearly describe the nature of the defect.
