To unscrew the crown:
1. Turn it counterclockwise until tig t.
2. T en you can wind t e mainspring
manually (except Cal. 2671 and Cal.
2824-2) or pull crown out in Pos.”b”
or Pos.”c”
To screw in the crown:
1. Return t e crown in Pos. “a”.
2. Turn crown clockwise w ile press-
ing it lig tly until tig t.

• Turn crown clockwise in Pos. “a” for
3...5 turnings. T e second and
beqins its motion;
• Setting of time/calendar;
• Put t e watc on your wrist. If you
wear your watc more t en 10 ours
per a day wit a normal motion activ-
ity, no necessity will occur to wind it
manually (even if you leave it lying
motionless all t e day).

WATCH WINDING
Notes:
1. It is possible to wind t e watc manually completely. For t at turn crown clock-
wise for 12...15 turnings. (It is impossible to feel full winding in t e automatic
watc , but t ere is no way to break t e mainspring as well.)
2. Do not wind your watc wit all your mig t ot erwise automatic device can be
used up untimely.

Cal 2671 and Cal 2824-2
• To start your watc , swing it from
side to side in a orizontal position for
about 30 second (50...100 swing-
ings);
• Setting of time/calendar;
• Put t e watc on your wrist. If you
wear your watc more t en 10 ours
per a day wit a normal motion activ-
ity, no necessity will occur to wind it
manually (even if you leave it lying
motionless all t e day).

WATCH WINDING

1. Pull out t e crown in Pos. “b”, turn
it clockwise until t e previous day’s
date appears.
2. Pull out t e crown in Pos. “c”,
w en t e second and aligns wit 12
ours marker. T e second and stops
( For Cal. 2671 and Cal. 2824-2 it
appens, if t e stop second device is
provided for t is model).
3. Turning t e crown clockwise, turn
ands until t e desired date appears.
Continuing turning t e crown set
ands to t e desired time.

COUTION!
Do not correct or set calendar in t e period since 8 : 00 P.M. till 1 : 00 AM, it
can result in a breakage of your watc .

4. Return t e crown in Pos. “a”. If you
want to set exact time, fullfill t is pro-
cedure wit time signal.
ATTENTION!
• It is necessary to correct t e date
manually by t e fast met od or by set-
ting ands at t e end of February and
all s ort (30 days) mont s.

Note:

t at AM/PM is correctly set. T e watc
is so designed t at t e date c anges
once in 24 ours. Turn t e ands past
t e 12 o’clock marker to determine
w et er t e watc is set for t e A.M.
or P.M. period. If t e date c ange, t e
time is set for t e A.M. period. If t e
date do not c ange, t e time is set for
t e P.M. period.

1. You can mesure time intervals up
to 12 ours in 15 minutes discreet
by t e “soundless” timer “A” and
time intervals up to 60 minutes in
1 minute discreet by t e “soundless”
timer “B”.
2. Turn t e rotating scale by t e
crown “C” clockwise or counterclock-
wise to align its “ ” mark wit t e
our and for t e timer “A” or minute
and for t e timer “B”.
3. W en t e our and (minute and
for t e timer “B”) points to t e num-
ber of t e desired interval fulfill t e
necessary operation.

to find t e time of 24 cities in different
time zones t roug out t e world.
1. Turning t e crown “C” or bezel
clockwise or counterclockwise set t e
name of t e city wit t e local time in
front of t e our and arrow.
2. Current our in t e disired city will
be indicated opposite its name or t e
name of t e city, w ic is at t e same
time zone.

Note: Cities of t e 12 time zones easterly GMT are at t e external scale. Cities of
t e 12 time zones westerly GMT are at t e internal scale. T e time of day of cities
at t e external scale is in opposition t e time of day of cities at t e internal scale.
