"BOSE" sound package settings
AudioPilot®
This patented technology from Bose uses a
microphone to continuously monitor the sound
level in the vehicle.
Background noise is recorded via a filter and
compared to the signals from the sound source
(e.g. a CD). The volume and dynamic properties of
the source frequencies (which overlay the
background noise) are continuously and
automatically adapted in real time using a noise
compensation algorithm. This means that manual
readjustment of the sound and volume settings is
not necessary. The music is no longer affected by
unwanted noise and the listener can enjoy an
undistorted listening experience.
fPress the AudioPilot SoftKey.
AudioPilot is now switched ON or OFF .
Linear
When Linear is activated, the CDR30 switches
from an accentuated-bass sound mode (Linear
OFF) to a more audiophilic sound mode (Linear
ON).
fPress the Linear SoftKey.
Linear is now switched ON or OFF .
Surround®
This technology developed by Bose generates five
separate audio channels from conventional stereo
recordings. By transferring this information to the
SurroundStage® signal processing system it is
possible to generate a surround sound experience
that is specially tuned and balanced to the vehicle,
even when listening to a CD.
Centerpoint® is optimised for the creation of
surround sound for digital media. It is therefore
possible that the surround sound functionality may
be limited when used in areas with weak FM radio
signals due to insufficient reception quality. AM
transmissions cannot be received or listened to in
surround sound.
fPress the Surround SoftKey.
Surround is now switched ON or OFF .
