Usage & Health Policy
Please read the following precautions before using the Positive Gaming™Impact
Arcade Dance Platform.
Your Positive Gaming™Impact Arcade Dance Platform is a high-quality product, designed for
heavy use on all available difficulty levels of dance games. Maintenance or opening of the
platform is, under normal circumstances, required only once a year. If malfunctions occur, you
have the possibility to open the dance platform for cleaning or repairing under attention of the
indications of this manual. All components are designed to be changed without the requirement
of any special tools. We nevertheless strongly advice assistance from a professional technician
if you are unsure about anything technical. Positive Gaming is not liable for any damages on the
product or health injuries, occurred by opening, repairing or modifying the product.
The dance platform is only for indoor use. Keep it away from open flames or other heat sources.
Do not use the dance platform on wet, uneven or slippery surfaces.
Do not expose the platform to temperatures exceeding 50 degrees Celsius (122 degrees
Fahrenheit).
Do not expose the platform to direct sun light.
When two dance platforms are used to play in double mode, it is recommended to connect
them together, using the supplied platform-merger brackets.
Do not use the dance platform if damaged in any way.
Use only the provided or other high-quality tools to work on the dance platform.
If unplugging an electrical connector inside the platform is necessary, always use flat pliers to
connect or disconnect any plugs to avoid injuries.
Clean the dance platform only with a moist cloth. Do not use your dance platform before it is
completely dry.
It is strongly recommended to only use the dance platform in sport shoes. Playing barefoot or
with socks may cause the player to slip and fall.
Small children should only use the dance platform under adult supervision.
Store the dance platform in a dry and cool place. Store it only vertical or horizontal to avoid
damage.
Remove the dance platform from playing areas when not in use to avoid injuries.
Take frequent rest periods.

Do not use the dance platform if you have heart, respiratory, foot injuries or any physical
impairment that may limit your physical activity.
If you experience any physical discomfort pain or have doubts about your health condition stop
using this product immediately and seek medical advice before continuing.
Use your dance platform with care to avoid injuries. Positive Gaming is not liable for injuries or
damage from improper use of the dance platform.
Do not use the dance platform under the influence of alcohol, drugs or strong medication, as
they may impair your coordination and sense of balance.
Use only the built-in handles of the dance platform for transport.

Platform Assembly and Connectivity
Always disconnect all cables before moving the Impact Arcade Dance Platform.
Always use caution when walking around the control box.
Hardware
1Place the dance platform on a dry, flat surface
within range of the gaming station.
2Locate the control box.
3 Turn off any TV monitors and gaming consoles.
4 Connect the female D-Sub pad port cable to the
male D-Sub platform port, located on the front
right of the dance platform, by using the
connector‘s built-in plug screws. (See Figure 1)
5Connect the opposite end of the control box to
the gaming console or PC.
Software
PlayStation®and PlayStation®2 gaming consoles will automatically detect the dance platform.
(See Figure 2 for button assignment.)
Microsoft®XBOX™gaming consoles will automatically detect the dance platform. (See Figure 2
for button assignment.)
Microsoft®Windows®2000 or Microsoft®Windows®XP PC computer systems will automati-
cally detect the dance platform. (See Figure 2 for button assignment.)

Personalizing Your Dance Platform
The dance platform has a small area above the
select buttons which can be used to personalize
it using these simple steps: (See Figure 3)
1Use the small Allan key to remove the two
screws of the clear plastic plate.
2Replace the inlay with your own custom made
one. The required size is 80 x 30 mm
(3.15 x 1.18 inches).
Physically Connecting Two Platforms
For use with two Positive Gaming™Impact Arcade Dance Platforms, using doubles mode play.
1Locate the four platform-merger brackets.

For the first dance platform, use the supplied Allen
key tool to unscrew the four large screws on the
right edge of the platform and the two small
screws of the tag in the upper top right corner.
3For the second dance platform, unscrew the four
large screws on the left edge of the platform.
4On both dance platforms, gently lift the top layer
a bit and remove all white washers under each
screw hole. (See Figure 4)
5On the left dance platform, insert one platform-merger bracket under each of the four
screw holes.
6Slide the right dance platform into the left platform’s four platform-mergers.
7Replace and fasten all screws on both platforms again. Keep the extra white washers in
case you want to separate the platforms again.

Platform Maintenance
Only use supplied tools when performing maintenance.
Positive Gaming is not liable for any damages on the product or health injuries,
occurred by opening, repairing or modifying the product.
Dirty Surface
Cleaning the surface of the dance platform should be done with the use of a rag and a light
spray of surface cleaner. Apply the surface cleaner to the rag, not directly to the platform.
Electronics can be damaged due to over exposure to spray cleaner, water, or other liquids.
Troubleshooting
Unresponsive Arrow Panels: The contact metal beneath each arrow panel may have become dirty.
1Disconnect the controller box from the platform.
2 Unscrew all 20 large screws and the two small
screws on the tag of the upper right corner of
the dance platform.
3IMPORTANT: Carefully lift the right upper corner
of the plastic cover a bit and disconnect the two
wires by pulling them to the right (See Figure 5)
4Remove the top plastic cover completely.
5Lift each arrow panel by the notch moulded in
each base. (See Figure 6)
6Fold each arrow panel back. To avoid ripping out
the connected wires, do not remove the arrow
panels completely.
7Clean the metal panels lightly. Do not use
aggressive chemicals or abrasive materials.
8Vacuum any remaining dust, dirt or debris.
9Reassemble, making sure all wires are securely
connected, all white washers are in place and
the screws are properly fastened.
