HALOGEN OVEN 12 L with 360 Grill and Timer
PPT615

The title is not clickbait - this appliance actually exists. Most of us have never heard of
a halogen oven. Some consumers already know of its benefits, while others have
come here out of curiosity. Let me introduce some great things about Halogen
Ovens ….
A halogen oven uses a halogen lamp to produce heat, which is spread throughout the
oven by a fan. A Thermostat inside the oven regulates the temperature by turning the
lamp on and off.
Firstly, food cooks in a much shorter time. Fancy Steak in 8 minutes, grilled fish in 25
minutes or a cake in 20 minutes? All possible!
Secondly, halogen ovens cook many types of food that traditional ovens cannot, e.g.
boiled potatoes, boiled eggs (that’s a surprise!), steamed vegetables, frozen food like
pizzas and French Fries. You can boil, bake, fry and roast. It is also safe to use foil.
Thirdly, halogen ovens consume 75% less energy than conventional ovens. You can
throw everything into one pot instead of cooking everything separately.
Fourthly, all of us could do with more space in the kitchen. Halogen oven just consists
of a Pot Holder, Pot and Cover. It’s a lot lighter too. To increase capacity from 12 litres
to 17 litres, a Frame is provided.
Lastly, after cooking comes the inevitable cleaning. Here, the Halogen Oven offers a
lifeline. The ‘Thaw Wash’function is a self-cleaning feature. Fill the Pot with 2 inches
of water with a few drops of dishwashing liquid. Let the appliance operate for 10
minutes. For really stubborn stains, use some liquid detergent on a soft cloth and rub
it off. Don’t forget to wipe the exterior of the appliance, too.

upon as well the surface immediately above (e.g. a wooden cabinet above the
appliance), may become very hot. If the appliance is operated on wooden furniture,
use a protective pad to prevent damage to delicate finishes.
