1. Place the Bass Drum (A) on a soft, flat surface.
Insert the two Bass Drum Spurs (L) into the spur
mounts at the 4 o’clock and 8 o’clock positions as
shown in Figure 1 and tighten.
2. See Figure 2 for this step. Place a Bass Drum
Head (F) over the rim of the Bass Drum (A) and
cover with a Bass Drum Hoop (E). Make sure the
logo aligns straight when the Bass Drum is
assembled. Thread a tension Rod (G) through the
Bass Drum Hoop (E), then screw the Bass Drum
Tension Rod (G) into the lug casing on the Bass
Drum so it is secure, but not tight.
Repeat this step with the three additional Bass
Drum Tension Rods (G), applying equal amount of
pressure for each.
When all Bass Drum Tension Rods(G) are secure,
tighten each evenly until the Bass Drum Head (F)
is smooth and slightly tight. It is recommended
tightening the first lug, then tightening the lug on
the opposite side for best tuning.
3. Turn over the Bass Drum and repeat step 3.
4. Stand the Bass Drum on its side with the
Bass Drum Spurs (L) on the bottom. The
Bass Drum Spurs (L) should extend out
from the drum just enough to brace it on
the floor and are located at the front half of
the Bass Drum.
