Fehlerbeseitigung/Reparatur:
Versuchen Sie nicht, das Gerät selbst
zu warten oder zu reparieren. Über-
lassen Sie jegliche Wartungsarbeiten
dem zuständigen Fachpersonal.
Nehmen Sie keine Veränderungen am
Gerät vor. Dadurch verlieren Sie jeg-
liche Garantie-ansprüche.
Feuchtigkeit und Wärmequellen:
Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht in der
Nähe von Wasser (z.B. Waschbecken,
Badewannen oder Schwimmbecken),
und halten Sie es von Feuchtigkeit,
tropfenden oder spritzenden Flüssigkei-
ten sowie Regen fern.
Stellen Sie die Lautsprecher nicht in
der Nähe von Wärmequellen auf, um
Schäden am Gerät zu vermeiden.
Reinigung
Benutzen Sie zum Reinigen des Gerä-
tes bitte ein weiches, trockenes Tuch.
Lassen Sie das Gerät nie mit Benzol,
Verdünner oder anderen Chemikalien
in Berührung kommen.
Standort:
Die Lautsprecher müssen auf einer
stabilen Unterlage stehen, um zu
verhindern, dass sie herunterfallen
und dabei Personen oder das Gerät zu
Schaden kommen.
Belüftung:
Verdecken Sie die Öffnungen der Laut-
sprechergehäuse nicht, führen Sie kei-
ne Gegenstände in die Öffnungen ein,
und achten Sie darauf, dass zwischen
den Lautsprechern und anderen Gerä-
ten bzw. der Wand ein ausreichender
Abstand besteht.
Abwesenheit:
Bei längerer Abwesenheit oder Nicht-
gebrauch sollten Sie das Stromkabel
des Systems aus der Steckdose
ziehen.
Lautstärke:
Zu große Lautstärke kann zu Hörschä-
den führen.
Gewitter:
Um die Lautsprecher bei einem Ge-
witter zu schützen, ziehen Sie den
Netzstecker des Subwoofer, und
schalten Sie den Computer aus.
Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch:
Das Gerät darf nur mit den dafür
vorgesehenen Originalteilen verwendet
werden.
Das Produkt darf nur in geschlossenen
und trockenen Räumen verwendet
werden.
Die bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
beinhaltet das Vorgehen gemäß der
Installationsanleitung. Für Schäden,
die durch unsachgemäßen Gebrauch
entstehen übernimmt der Hersteller
keine Haftung.

Bevor Sie dieses Produkt verwenden, lesen Sie bitte die Sicherheits- und

Einleitung
Vielen Dank für den Kauf der Powerstixx ULTRA 5.1. Dieses Laut-
sprecher-System bietet neben seinem außergewöhnlichen Design by F.A.
Porsche exzellenten Heimkino-Sound bei der Film- und Musikwiedergabe.
Das Lautsprecher-System kann bequem an eine 5.1 Soundkarte oder
z.B. an einen DVD-Player mit Decoder angeschlossen werden!

1. Anschluss des Lautsprecher-Systems:
Sie können dieses Lautsprecher-System gleichzeitig an eine 5.1 Sound-
quelle und an eine 2.1 Soundquelle anschließen. Über die „Source“-Taste
auf der Fernbedienung können Sie zwischen beiden Soundquellen wählen.

1.1 Anschluss an eine 5.1 Soundquelle
Zum Anschluss an eine 5.1 Soundquelle mit Cinch/RCA-Eingängen ver-
wenden Sie zum Anschluss Kabel A (s. Abb. 1):
1. Schließen Sie die hinteren und vorderen Lautsprecher entsprechend
der Farbmarkierungen an der Unterseite des Subwoofers an.
2. Schließen Sie den Center-Lautsprecher (waagerecht betriebener Laut-
sprecher) an die Output-Buchse „Center“ auf der Unterseite des Sub-
woofers an.
3. Schließen Sie Kabel A an die Input-Buchsen „Front“ (vordere Laut-
sprecher), „Rear“ (hintere Lautsprecher), und „Sub/Cen“ (Subwoofer,
Center-Lautsprecher) an und verbinden Sie die anderen Enden mit
Ihrer 5.1 Soundquelle (z.B. einem DVD-Player, Decoder, etc.).
4. Stecken Sie das Netzkabel des Subwoofers in eine Steckdose und
schalten Sie das System über den Hauptschalter an der Unterseite
des Subwoofers ein.
5. Drücken Sie nun die „On/Standby“-Taste auf der Fernbedienung, um
die Soundquelle zu aktivieren, die LED an der Vorderseite des Subwoo-
fers leuchtet blau auf.
6. Hinweis: Falls nach Anschluss noch immer kein Sound zu hören ist,
drücken Sie einmal die „Source“-Taste auf der Fernbedienung, da evtl.
die falsche Soundquelle aktiviert ist.
1.2 Anschluss an eine 5.1 Soundkarte
Verwenden Sie zum Anschluss an eine 5.1 Soundkarte mit 3,5mm
Buchsen die mitgelieferten Kabel C. (s. Abb. 1)
1. Schließen Sie die hinteren und vorderen Lautsprecher entsprechend
der Farbmarkierungen an der Unterseite des Subwoofers an.
2. Schließen Sie den Center-Lautsprecher an die Output-Buchse „Center“
auf der Rückseite des Subwoofers an.
3. Verbinden Sie Kabel C mit den Input-Buchsen „Front“ (vordere Laut-
sprecher), „Rear“ (hintere Lautsprecher), und „Sub/Cen“ (Subwoofer,
Center-Lautsprecher) und verbinden Sie die anderen Enden mit den
entsprechenden Ausgängen für die hinteren, mittleren und vorderen
Kanäle Ihrer 5.1 Soundquelle an.
4. Gehen Sie nun wie in Kapitel „1.1“ Punkt 5-7 vor.
Hinweis: Da jede Soundkarte unterschiedlich aufgebaut ist, kann hier nur
allgemein auf den Anschluss an Soundkarten eingegangen werden. Falls
Probleme beim Anschluss des 5.1 Systems an Ihre Soundkarte auftre-
ten sollten, ziehen Sie bitte die Bedienungsanleitung Ihrer Soundkarte
zu Rate oder kontaktieren Sie den Soundkarten-Hersteller, um nähere
Informationen zum Anschluss zu erhalten.

1.3 Anschluss an eine Stereo-Soundquelle
Hinweis: Beim Anschluss an eine Stereoquelle wird das 2.1 Stereo-
Signal nicht über die Center und Rear-Kanäle ausgegeben.
a) Schließen Sie die hinteren und vorderen Lautsprecher entsprechend
der Farbmarkierungen an der Unterseite des Subwoofers an.
b) Schließen Sie den Center-Lautsprecher an die Output-Buchse „Center“
auf der Rückseite des Subwoofers an.
Verwendung des Kabels A oder B
c) Schließen Sie die Cinch-Stecker an die Stereo-Eingänge („Stereo In-
put“): „L“ (weiß) und „R“ (rot) an und verbinden Sie das andere Ende
von Kabel A bzw. B mit Ihrer Stereoquelle (z.B. Stereoanlage oder
Soundkarte).
Gehen Sie nun wie in Kapitel „1.1“ Punkt 5-7 beschrieben vor.
2. Funktionen der Fernbedienung
Funktionstaste: Funktionen:
On/Standby Schaltet das System in Standby-bzw. Aktiv-Modus. Das System wird im Standby-Modus nicht vollständig
von der Stromversorgung getrennt!
Source Zum Wechseln zwischen zwei angeschlossenen Sound quellen (Stereo-Soundquelle/ 5.1 Sound-
quelle).
Master (-/+) Reguliert die Gesamtlautstärke des Systems
Sub Reguliert den Bass-Sound des Subwoofers
Center Reguliert die Lautstärke des Center-Lautsprechers
Rear Reguliert die Lautstärke des Rear-Lautsprechers

1. Entfernen Sie mit Hilfe eines Schraubenziehers die Schraube an der
Unterseite der Fernbedienung (s. Abb.3 Punkt 1).
2. Bevor Sie das Batteriefach herausziehen, sollten Sie die gesamte
Fernbedienung mit den Funktionstasten nach oben auf einen ebenen
Untergrund legen (s. Abb.3 Punkt 2). Ziehen Sie jetzt das
Batteriefach an der Hinterseite der Fernbedienung heraus (s. Abb.3
Punkt 3). (Falls keine Batterien im Batteriefach enthalten sind, bitte
darauf achten, dass die Federung des im Batteriefach liegenden
Kontaktbleches nach unten zeigt).
3. Nehmen Sie ggf. alte Batterien aus dem Fach heraus und legen Sie
die Batterien entsprechend der Markierungen in das Batteriefach
(s. Abb.3 Punkt 3) ein.
4. Setzen Sie das Batteriefach wieder in die Fernbedienung ein. Achten
Sie darauf, dass die Markierungen + und - sowie auch die Funktions-
tasten der Fernbedienung nach oben zeigen (s. rechte Abb.)!
5. Setzen Sie die Schraube wieder ein und befestigen Sie das
Batteriefach.
Batteriehinweise:
• Bewahren Sie Batterien außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.
• Verwenden Sie nicht gleichzeitig alte und neue Batterien oder ver-
schiedene Batteriesorten. Befolgen Sie für den Umgang mit Batterien
die Anweisungen des Herstellers.
• Ersetzen Sie alte oder schwache Batterien immer sofort.
• Entsorgen und recyceln Sie verbrauchte Batterien gemäß den örtlichen
Bestimmungen.
4. Problembehebung
Das Gerät ist korrekt angeschlossen, doch die LED an der Vorderseite
des Subwoofers leuchtet beim Einschalten nicht auf.
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Sie den Regler an der Unterseite des
Systems in Position „on“ bewegt haben.
Kein Sound
Bitte überprüfen Sie, ob Sie das Gerät korrekt an Ihre Soundquelle ange-
schlossen haben.
Überprüfen Sie, ob Sie die richtige Soundquelle gewählt haben. Drücken
Sie die „Source“-Taste auf der Fernbedienung, um zwischen den Sound-
quellen zu wechseln.

Troubleshooting& Servicing:

paint thinner, or other chemicals on the

Location:
Place the speakers in a stable location

Ventilation:
Do not block the openings in speaker
cabinets, never push objects into
speaker vents or slots because of fire
or electric shock hazards, and provide
sufficient space around thespeakers for

Periods of absence:

Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Powerstixx ULTRA 5.1. This loudspeaker
system offers, in addition to outstanding design by F.A. Porsche,
excellent home cinema sound for film and music playback. The speaker
system is easy to connect to a 5.1 sound card or DVD player with
decoder, for example!
Supplied with product

1. Connecting the speaker system:
You can simultaneously connect the speaker system to a 5.1 sound
source and a 2.1 sound source. You can then switch between the two
sound sources by means of the “Source” button on the remote control.

1.1 Connecting to a 5.1 sound source
To connect to a 5.1 sound source with cinch/RCA inputs, use cable A
for connection 3 (see illustration 1):
1. Connect the front and rear speakers in accordance with the colour
markings at the bottom of the subwoofer.
2. Connect the centre speaker (horizontal speaker) to the “Centre” out-
put socket on the bottom of the subwoofer.
3. Connect the cables to the input sockets “Front” (front speaker), “Rear”
(rear speaker), and “Sub/Cen” (subwoofer, centre speaker) and
connect the other ends to your 5.1 sound source (e.g. a DVD player,
decoder, etc.).
4. Insert the power cable of the subwoofer in a power outlet and switch
the system on with the main switch at the bottom of the subwoofer.
5. Now press the “On/Standby” button on the remote control to activate
the sound source; the LED on the front of the subwoofer lights blue.
6. Note: if there is no sound after connecting, press the “Source” button
once on the remote control, as the wrong sound source may be
activated.
1.2 Connecting to a 5.1 sound card
To connect to a 5.1 sound card with 3.5mm sockets, use the supplied
cable C. (see illustration 1)
1. Connect the front and rear speakers in accordance with the colour
markings at the bottom of the subwoofer.
2. Connect the centre speaker to the “Centre” output socket on the back
of the subwoofer.
3. Connect cable C to the “Front” input socket (front speakers), “Rear”
(rear speakers), and “Sub/Cen” (subwoofer, centre speaker) and
connect the other ends to the corresponding outputs for the rear,
centre and front channels of your 5.1 sound source.
4. Now proceed as described in points 5-7 of section 1.1.
Note: Since each sound card has a different design, the manual can only
give general information on how to connect to sound cards. If you have
problems connecting the 5.1 system to your sound card, refer to the
instructions for your sound card or contact the manufacturer.
1.3 Connecting to a stereo sound source
Note: When connecting to a stereo source, a stereo signal is not output
via center and rear speakers.

a) Connect the front and rear speakers in accordance with the colour
markings at the bottom of the subwoofer.
b) Connect the centre speaker to the “Centre” output socket on the
back of the subwoofer.
Using cable A or B
c) Connect the cinch plugs to the stereo inputs (“Stereo Input”): “L”
(white) and “R” (red) and connect the other end of cable A or B to
your stereo source, such as a stereo system or stereo sound card.
Now proceed as described in points 5–7 of section 1.1.
2. Functions of the remote control
Button: Functions:
On/Standby Switches the system to standby or active mode. The system is not completely disconnected from
the power supply in this mode!
Source Changes between 2 connected sound sources
(stereo sound source / 5.1 sound source).
Master (-/+) Controls the overall volume of the system
Sub Controls the bass sound of the subwoofer
Centre Controls the volume of the centre speaker
Rear Controls the volume of the rear speakers
3. How to fit or change batteries:
1. Using a screwdriver, remove the screw on the back of the remote
control (point 1 of diagram).
2. Before you remove the battery compartment, lay the remote control
on a suitable surface with function buttons pointing upwards
(point 2 of diagram). Pull out the battery compartment at the bottom
end of the remote control (point 3 of diagram). If there are no

batteries in the remote control, note that the spring of the contact
plate inside the battery compartment points downwards.
3. Remove old batteries and insert new batteries in the battery
compartment as indicated by the markings (see point 3 of diagram).
4. Fit the battery compartment into the remote control. Make sure
the + and - markings and the function buttons of the remote control
all point upwards (see right-hand diagrams)!
5. Replace the screw and fasten the battery compartment.
Notes about batteries:
• Keep batteries out of reach of children.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different types. Follow
manufacturer's instructions on battery use.
• Remove old, weak or worn-out batteries promptly.
• Always recycle or dispose of used batteries in accordance with local
regulations.
4. Troubleshooting
The system is correctly connected but the LED on the front of the
subwoofer does not light when switching on.
Make sure you have turned the control at the bottom of the subwoofer
to ON.
No sound
Check you have correctly connected the system to your sound source
and that you have selected the correct sound source. Use the “Source”
button on the remote control to switch between the connected sound
sources (Input 1 and 2) (see Functions section).

dans les ouvertures ou les fentes
des haut-parleurs, du fait du risque

En cas d‘absence:
En cas d’absence ou de non-utilisation
prolongée, débranchez le câble
d’alimentation électrique de la prise.
Volume:
Un volume trop élevé peut entraîner
des troubles de l’audition.
Foudre:
Pour une meilleure protection contre la
foudre, débranchez les haut-parleurs de
la prise électrique et mettez l‘ordinateur
hors tension en cas d‘orage
Utilisation conforme:
L’appareil ne doit être utilisé qu’avec les
pièces originales prévues à cet effet.
Le produit ne doit être utilisé que dans

Introduction
Merci d’avoir choisi Powerstixx ULTRA 5.1. Outre son design excep-
tionnel by F.A. Porsche, cet ensemble d’enceintes offre un son home-
cinéma excellent pour visionner des films et écouter de la musique. Le
système d’enceintes se raccorde très simplement à une carte son 5.1
ou par exemple à un lecteur de DVD avec décodeur !

1. Raccordement du système d’enceintes :
Vous pouvez raccorder ce système d’enceintes simultanément à une
source audio 5.1 et une source audio 2.1. Pour commuter entre les
deux sources audio, il vous suffit d’appuyer sur la touche « Source » de la
télécommande.

1.1 Raccordement à une source audio 5.1
Pour raccorder une source audio 5.1 aux entrées cinch/RCA, utilisez 3
câbles A (voir illustration 1) :
1. Raccordez les enceintes arrière et avant à la face inférieure du
caisson de basses en vous aidant des repères de couleur.
2. Reliez le haut-parleur central (haut-parleur placé en position
horizontale) à la sortie « Center » à la face inférieure du caisson de
basses.
3. Reliez les câbles A aux entrées « Front » (enceintes avant), « Rear »
(enceintes arrière) et « Sub/Cen » (caisson de basses, haut-parleur
central) et raccordez les autres extrémités à votre source audio 5.1

4. Branchez le câble d’alimentation du caisson de basses sur une prise
de courant et allumez le système en actionnant l’interrupteur principal
sur la face inférieure du caisson de basses.
5. Appuyez ensuite sur la touche « On/Standby » de la télécommande
pour activer la source audio ; le voyant bleu s’allume à l’avant du
caisson de basses.
6. Remarque : si vous n’entendez rien après avoir raccordé le système,
appuyez une fois sur la touche « Source » de la télécommande, car il
est possible que vous ayez activé la mauvaise source audio.
1.2 Raccordement à une carte son 5.1
Pour raccorder le système à une carte son 5.1, utilisez les câbles C
fournis. (Voir illustration 1).
1. Raccordez les enceintes arrière et avant à la face inférieure du
caisson de basses en vous aidant des repères de couleur.
2. Reliez le haut-parleur central à la prise sortie « Center » à la face
inférieure du caisson de basses.
3. Reliez les câbles A aux entrées « Front » (enceintes avant), « Rear »
(enceintes arrière) et « Sub/Cen » (caisson de basses, haut-parleur
central) et raccordez les autres extrémités aux sorties correspondan-
tes des canaux arrière, central et avant de votre source audio 5.1.
4. Procédez ensuite comme indiqué au chapitre « 1.1 », points 5-7.
Remarque : chaque carte son étant différente, nous ne pouvons ici
décrire dans le détail le raccordement à la carte son. Si vous rencontrez
des problèmes pour raccorder le système 5.1 à votre carte son, veuillez
consulter le mode d’emploi de votre carte ou contacter le fabricant de la
carte afin d’obtenir de plus amples renseignements sur les possibilités
de raccordement.

1.3 Raccordement à une source audio stéréo
Remarque : en cas de raccordement à une source stéréo vous
n’entendrez pas du son de haut-parleurs arrières et central.
a) Raccordez les enceintes arrière et avant à la face inférieure du
caisson de basses en vous aidant des repères de couleur.
b) Reliez le haut-parleur central à la sortie « Center » au dos du caisson
de basses.
En utilisant le câble A ou B
c) Reliez les fiches cinch aux entrées stéréo (« Stereo Input ») : « L »
(blanc) et « R » (rouge) et raccordez les autres extrémités de câble
A ou B à votre source stéréo, par exemple votre chaîne hifi ou carte
son.
Procédez ensuite comme indiqué au chapitre « 1.1 », points 5-7.
2. Fonctions de la télécommande

On/Standby Commute le système en mode standby ou activé. En mode standby, l’alimentation électrique
du système n’est pas complètement coupée !
Source Commute entre les deux sources audio raccordées (source audio stéréo/source
audio 5.1).

3. Insérer ou remplacer les piles:
1. Retirez avec un tournevis la vis qui se trouve sous la télécommande
(voir illustration point 1).
2. Avant de dégager le compartiment à piles, posez toute la télé-
commande sur un support plat en plaçant les touches de fonction
vers le haut (voir illustration point 2). Dégagez ensuite le comparti-
ment à piles au dos de la télécommande (voir illustration point 3).
(Si le compartiment à piles est vide, faites attention à ce que le
ressort de la borne de contact métallique à l’intérieur du comparti-
ment à piles soit tourné vers le bas.)
3. Retirez au besoin les anciennes piles et insérez les nouvelles piles en
respectant les repères figurant dans le compartiment à piles (voir
illustration point 3).
4. Replacez le compartiment à piles dans la télécommande. Veillez à
ce que les repères + et – et les touches de fonction de la télé-
commande soient tournés vers le haut
(voir illustration de droite) !
5. Remettez la vis en place et vissez le compartiment à piles.
Remarques concernant les piles:
• Rangez les piles hors de portée des enfants.
• Evitez d'utiliser des piles usagées conjointement à des piles neuves, ou
des piles de types différents. Suivez les instructions fournies par le
fabricant pour l'emploi des piles.
• Retirez les piles dès qu'elles sont usagées ou faibles.
• Recyclez-les ou mettez-les au rebut conformément à la réglementation
en vigueur.

4. En cas de problème
L’appareil est correctement raccordé, mais le voyant situé à l’avant
du caisson de basses ne s’allume pas à la mise en marche.
Vérifiez que vous avez bien amené le bouton de réglage qui se trouve
sous le caisson de basses en position « On ».
Pas de son
Vérifiez que l’appareil est bien raccordé à la source audio.
Assurez-vous que vous avez sélectionné la bonne source audio. Appuyez
sur la touche « Source » de la télécommande pour commuter entre les
sources audio.

Humedad y fuentes de calor:
No utilices el aparato cerca del agua

Limpiar el dispositivo
Cuando limpie el dispositivo, por favor
utilice un paño suave y seco. Nunca
utilice bencina, removedor u otro

Colocación:
Coloque los altavoces en un lugar
seguro para evitar posibles caídas que
pudieran ocasionar lesiones físicas o
dañar el producto.
Ventilación:
No bloquee las aberturas de los
altavoces ni introduzca ningún objeto
en las ranuras u orificios de ventilación,
ya que podrían producirse incendios o
descargas eléctricas. Procure siempre
que haya suficiente espacio alrededor
de los altavoces para garantizar una
ventilación.
Ausencia:
En caso de ausencias prolongadas, o

desenchufar el sistema de la corriente.
Volumen:
Un exceso de volumen puede causar
