Important
Before using the Premier Information On Hold unit,please read
these operating instructions carefully.
Introduction
The 3100/3400 series is the ultimate in auto downloading. As
with all of PremierTechnologies products,the sound quality is
outstanding. A breakthrough in technology gives the newADL
3100/3400 an effective digitizing rate of 96 kbps. You have to
hear it to believe it. With the Premier Information On Hold
unit connected in your in-house telephone system,callers
placed on hold can be greeted with background music and mes-
sages.

Operating Controls and Indicators
➀Pow er - LED - indicates power to the
unit. Note: When power is first applied
to the unit,it will blink first and then
remain steady.
➁Output Tone - Controls the tone on the 600
Ohm and 8 Ohm outputs.
③Output Volume - Controls the output
volume of the unit.
④Speaker -Turns on and off internal
speaker. Push once (switch stays down) to turn
speaker on,push again (switch comes up) to turn
speaker off.
➄Phone Outputs - Insert the cable provided into
the output jack your phone system requires,
either 600 Ohm or 8 Ohm.
➅AC Adaptor Jack - Insert round plug of 12VAC
adaptor into power unit.
Installation
1. Plug the small-connector end of theAC adaptor into the 12 VDC input jack at the side of the unit. Plug the larger,power
supply end of the adaptor into a grounded AC power outlet. The AC power outlet must be one that remains ON at all times.
2. Connect a cable (provided) from the music on hold part of the telephone system to the 600 Ohm or 8 Ohm output jack
of the unit.
3. Press EJECT button on face of the 3100/3400 to open cassette door.Load cassette with label facing you and open (tape)
end up. Close door and the 3100/3400 will automatically digitize and record your message.
4. Adjust volume and tone controls to the phone system as needed.

Warranty
Upon receipt,Premier Technologies,Inc.will repair or replace, as its option, for a period of three years from the date of installation,
any ADL 3100/3400 that proves defective in materials or workmanship. PremierTechnologies,Inc. is not liable for indirect, inciden-
tal,or consequential damages in connection with the use of this product. This limited warranty does not include labor for installa-
tion or removal of a defective unit.
