When the outdoortemperature falls, theheating capacity decreaseaccordingly because the
heat absorbed fromoutdoors decreases (Seethe gure atthe right). At thesame time, the
temperature dierencebetween indoors andoutdoors is enlarged, so thatthe heating load
increase accordingly. If the air-conditioner can notreach a satisfactoryeect, it is
recommended that otherheating devices beused together.
2.White steam comesout from theindoor unit
During the coolingoperation ,under highrelative humidity indoors, white steam maycome
out due tothe high humidityand temperature difference of airinlet and outlet.
The air-conditionerconvert to heatingoperation after thefrost dissolving, themoisture
due to frostdissolving is discharged in formof steam.
3.High noise duringoperation
4.Dust is blownout from theindoor unit
5.The peculiar smellemanates from indoorunit
6.Cooling /Heating (notfor cold windtype) operation convertsto only windmode.
7.If you select the cooling operationin a relatively damp environment (relativehumidity
is higher than80%),dew may beformed over thesurface of indoorunit and drop.In such
a case, pleaseadjust the verticalwind vanes toits maximum ventilationposition(i.e.,close
to the positionnormal to thehorizontal direction)and choose to improve thedew
phenomenon.

When the air-conditioner uses therst time afterbeing left unusedfor a longtime, the
dust inside theindoor unit willbe blown out.
The s ell which absorbedfrom room, furniture, clothing or cigaretteemanates during the
air-conditioner isoperating.

When the indoorunit reaches thestiplated temperature, theair-conditioner willstop the
operation of compressorand convert toonly wind mode. The compressorwill restart
cooling or heatingafter the roomtemperature rise ordrop to acertain degree.

When the compressoris operating orjust stops operation, zzle may be heard because of
the refrigerant owor stop owing.
After the air-conditioner operates orstops for awhile, crackle from the naturel expansion
and contraction ofthe plastic componentsmay be heardbecause of temperaturevariation.
When the air-conditioner is energized for therst time, soundfrom friction maybe heard
because of therotating of windwave.

Methods of resolution
The normal protectionsof the air-conditioner
1.Compressor protection
The compressor dont restart afterstop operating in3 minutes.
the heating operationjust starts frost dissolving operation
operating under lowtemperature
Cold wind prevention(heat pump type)
Non-air-conditioner trouble
In the heatingmode, the indoorunit won tsend wind oroperate in lowwind ,if the heat
exchanger of indoorunit has notreached the stipulatedtemperature in thefollowing
three states, soas to preventthe cold wind.
,
Frost dissolving operation(hot pump type)
The fan of the indoorand outdoor unitwill stop underfrost dissolving operation.
The timefor frost dissolvingvaries in rangeof 4 to 10 minutes accordingto the out-
door temperature andthe frost condition.
It is normal phenomenon that theremay be steamcoming out fromthe outdoor unit
during the frostdissolving operation.
When the temperatureis low andhumidity is highoutdoors, the heatexchanger of
outdoor unit mayfrost, which maydecrease the heatingcapacity. In such case, the air-
conditioner will stopthe heating operationand convert toautomatic frost dissolving,
and then resumeheating after thefrost dissolving nishes.

Cold wind prevention(heat pump type)
Non-air-conditioner trouble
In the heatingmode, the indoorunit won tsend wind oroperate in lowwind ,if theheat
exchanger of indoorunit has notreached the stipulatedtemperature in thefollowing
three states, soas to preventthe cold wind.
,
Frost dissolving operation(hot pump type)
