
4. Screw the modem into the equipment using the 3 self-tapping screws provided. See photo:
5. Place the antenna connector into the hole made in the box, fastening it via the split washer and nut
(see previous photo).
6. Connect the power cable to the H6 telephone connector on the relay board, and the data cable to the
RS-232 serial port of the control circuit. See photo:
7. Place the SIM card into the corresponding slot, having previously deactivated the card's PIN.
8. Connect the antenna, placing it at an elevated point so that it has the best visibility toward the
GSM/GPRS unit and has proper coverage.
9. If all of the steps for installing the GPRS modem have been completed, the only thing left is to turn on
the equipment and perform the corresponding configuration, using the manual provided.
NOTE: For models that have more than 32 outputs, the H6 connector on the relay board is occupied
by the extension cable that goes to the secondary box. In this case, a telephone adapter is provided that al-
lows you to connect the 2 power cables to the H6 connector.
Do not turn on the equipment without first having connected the antenna; other-
wise, the modem may suffer damage.
