Safe use and care of your television
We have designed and made this television to meet European Safety Standards, but
as with any electronic equipment you must take care to stay safe and get the best
results. Here is some good advice to help you do this. Read these instructions
carefully before you try to use the television.
Protect the mains lead. You must ensure the mains lead cannot be walked on,
crushed, chafed, cut or trapped.

Assembling the stand
Stand Installation

Connection and setup
CableInstallation
Please read this section carefully before installation and use.

Getting Started
Using the remote control
To use the remote control, point it towards the remote
sensor at the front of the television.
The remote control has a range of up to approximately
six metres (6m) from the TV at an angle of up to 30
degrees each to the right and left of the sensor, as
illustrated on the right.
The remote control will not operate if its path is blocked.
Installing Batteries in the Remote Control
1. Open the cover at the back of the remote control.
2. Install two AAA size batteries. Make sure to match
the “+” and “-” ends of the batteries with the
diagram inside the compartment.
3. Replace the cover.
Battery Precautions
You will need to install the batteries into the remote control to make it operate following
the instruction below.
When the batteries become weak, the operating distance of the remote control will be
greatly reduced and you will need to replace the batteries.
Notes on Using Batteries:
The use of the wrong type of batteries may cause chemical leakage and/or explosion.
Please note the following:
Always ensure that the batteries are inserted with the + and - terminals in the correct
direction as shown in the battery compartment.
Different types of batteries have different characteristics. Do not mix different types.
Do not mix old and new batteries. Mixing old and new batteries will shorten battery
life and/or cause chemical leakage.
Replace batteries as soon as they do not work.
Chemicals which leak from batteries may cause skin irritation. If any chemical matter
seeps out of the batteries, wipe it up immediately with a dry cloth.
The batteries may have a shorter life expectancy due to storage conditions. Remove
the batteries whenever you anticipate that the remote control will not be used for an
extended period.
The batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not be exposed to excessive
heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
CAUTION:
It may result in an explosion if batteries are replaced incorrectly.
Only replace batteries with the same or equivalent type.

Basic Operation
Turning on and off the TV
• Turn on the TV
Connect the TV set to the mains. To switch on the TV from standby mode, you must
press the button on the remote control.
• Turn off the TV
Press the button on the remote control to enter standby mode. To power down the
TV completely, unplug the power cord from the mains socket.
Do not leave your set in standby mode for long periods of time. If you will not use the
TV for a long time, it is recommended to unplug the set from the mains and aerial.
• No signal
The message "No Signal" appears on screen when there is no input signal. In PC
mode, the TV set will turn off automatically if there has been no signal for 5 minute.
In other mode, the TV set will turn off automatically if there has been no signal for 15
minutes.
Quick Setup
When the TV is initially powered on, a sequence of on-screen prompts will assist in
configuring basic settings.
NOTE: Make sure that the antenna or cable TV system connection is made.
Step one:
OSD Language:User the◄/►buttons to select the OSD (On Screen Display) language
and then press the ENTER button to go to the next step.

ENTER button to go to the next step. Press MENU button to go to previous step.

Language and then press the ENTER button to go to the next step. Press MENU button

ATV, DTV) and then press the ▼ button to select the “Start Scan” and press ENTER
button to start the auto searching. (The TV will begin memorizing all of the available

If you set the DTV type to Terrestrial: You will find the follow menu for search the channel.
TIPS:
If you set the DTV type to Cable: A step appears allowing you to set parameters to
the channels. For more information, refer to Channel (Auto Tuning).
NOTE:
If the TV doesn't receive any channels, please check your aerial connection or the
country you selected, and then try an auto tuning again.
If the TV just receives some of the channels, it means the aerial's reception isn't good
enough and an antenna service is recommended.

Menu Operation
Channel Selection
• Using the on the panel of TV or CH+/CH- on the remote control.
Press CH+/ to increase channel number.
Press CH-/ to decrease channel number.
• Using 0- 9 digital buttons.
You can select the channel number by pressing 0 to 9. (In ATV, DTV mode)
• Example
To select a one-digit channel (e.g. Channel 5): Press 5.
To select a two-digit channel (e.g. Channel 20): Press 2 and 0 in a short time.
Volume adjustment
■Press the + / - on the panel of TV or VOL+/VOL-on the remote control to adjust the
volume.
• If you want to switch the sound OFF, press the .
• You can release mute by pressing the again or by increasing the volume.
Information display
• Press the INFO button on the remote control to display information about the current
program.
Selecting an input source
You can select the input source by pressing the SOURCE button on the remote control.
Press the▲/▼buttons to cycle through the input sources, and press the ENTER button
to confirm your choice.

Menu Operation
Menu Navigation
Before using the TV follow the steps below to learn how to navigate the menu in order
to select and adjust different functions. The access step may differ depending on the
selected menu.
1. Press the MENU button to display the main menu.
2. Press the ◄/►buttons to cycle through the main menu. You can choose between
Picture, Sound, Channel, Function, and Setup.
3. Press the ENTER button to access the submenu page.
4. Press the ▲/▼ buttons to select the preferred option.
5. Press the ◄/► buttons to adjust the value.
6. Press the MENU button to return to the previous menu.
7. Press the EXIT button to exit the entire menu.
NOTE:
When a menu item is grayed out, it means that the item is not available or cannot be
adjusted.
Buttons on the TV have the same function as corresponding buttons on the remote
control. If you lost your remote control or if it is not working, you may use the buttons
on the TV to select menus. This manual focuses on operation with the remote control.
However, please note the following when navigating via the buttons on the TV control
panel: CH+ can be used to go up, CH- to go down, VOL+ to go right and VOL- to go
left.
Some items in the menus may be hidden depending on modes or signal sources
used.

Configuring the Picture menu
• Picture Mode
Adjust picture mode to change picture appearance.
Press ◄/►buttons to select. (Available Picture
Mode: Standard, Dynamic, Mild, User).
NOTE:
The Contrast, Brightness, Colour, Tint,
Sharpness and Contrast Booster are only available
in User mode, you can adjust as you like.
• Contrast
Adjust the highlight intensity of the picture, but the
shadow of the picture is invariable.
• Brightness
Adjust the visual perception output of the entire
picture; it will affect the luminousness of the picture.
• Colour
Adjust the saturation of the color based on your own like.
• Tint (Only in the NTSC mode)
Adjust the hue (Red, Green, and Blue) of the picture.
• Sharpness
You can adjust the sharpness value for the objects displayed on the picture.
• Contrast Booster
Adjusts the contrast to the optimal level according to the image's brightness.
• Colour Temperature
Increase or reduce warm color of the picture personally (red), and the cool color
personally (blue) according to your like.
Normal: Produces a standard image.
Cool: Produces a gentle blue-hued image.
Warm: Produces a red-hued image.
• DNR
To filter out and reduces the image noise and improve picture quality.
• Aspect
You can select the picture size which best corresponds to your viewing requirements.
TIPS: You can press button on the remote control to change the aspect mode
directly.
