Make Electricity Safe
Voltage is an industrial wearable that keeps watch over people working near dangerous voltage. It is designed
to prevent injury or death by alerting users before coming in contact with an energised device.
Attention
● Voltage is not designed to replace any step in existing safety procedures; it helps
detect human error in everyday work processes
● Voltage should be used to suitably trained personnel (qualified or unqualified)
● Voltage is a proximity sensor; never contact energised equipment
● If Voltage is used without fully understanding the interface and limitations, serious
injury can occur
● Static may produce false alarms
● Voltage's detection will be impacted by situations that result in energised
equipment producing a weaker field, such as: 3 phase equipment, grounded
equipment, equipment that is close to the ground, and when gear is wet
● Use only on the wrist; do not attach Wristband to other equipment or to a hot stick
Getting Started
Transport Mode
● Place Wristband on charger to wake up from transport mode; leave on until
fully charged
● Wristband buzzes when coupled with charger; light on charger indicates
Wristband and charger are coupled
● Remove charging cradle from Voltage Wristband before wearing
Wristband Sizing
● Cut extra wristband length following score marks
● Be sure to leave enough length to fit comfortably
Wristband Syncing
● Voltage can work independently from the app but using both in
conjunction is recommended
● Scan the QR code with mobile device to download
● The Proxxi Voltage Mobile App includes a built-in guide for
app onboarding

Interface
Battery Status
● Pulsing light colour indicates battery status:
○ Green light indicates high battery charge
○ Amber indicates 4 hours or less of battery life
○ Red light indicates 1 hour or less of battery life
● Critically low status:
○ Red light pulses more rapidly and wristband beeps
Charging
● Wristband buzzes when coupled with charger; light on charger also
indicates Wristband and charger are coupled
● Solid green battery status light indicates Wristband is fully charged
● A full charge takes about 3 hours
● Wristband battery charge lasts around 2 days depending on usage
Alerts
Initial Alert
● Entering initial alert zone triggers all of Voltage’s sensory alerts
(light, sound, vibration)
● Alerts increase in rate as user moves closer to energised device
High Alert
● Voltage alerts at its highest rate once user moves from initial aler
zone into high alert zone towards energised device
● Alters will continue until wearer moves sufficiently away from the
energised device
Default Settings
Voltage Environment & Alerting Distances
● Voltage’s default is set to detect 480V
○ The initial alert at 2’ from the energised device and
the high alert at 1’ from the energised device
● Settings are all adjustable in the app
Tap-to-Mute
● When you tap the wristband with an open palm twice in a row, the wristband will enter a mute state for
1 hour. This means that the wristbands will not provide any alerts when you near energised equipment
