to read the following manual before installing the Power Inverter. Please note that failure
to follow the proper procedures may result in personal injury or damage to the Power
Inverter.

1. Safety and Warning
Please read the following information carefully before using the Power Inverter.
aWarning – Shock Hazard
oDO NOT insert foreign objects into the Power Inverter AC receptacle.
oDO NOT expose the Power Inverter to water, rain, snow or spray. Keep
the Power Inverter dry at all times.
oDO NOT connect the Power Inverter to power utility AC distribution
wiring or extension cords.
aWarning – Heated Surface
oDO keep all body parts and/or materials away from the Power Inverter
while in operation. The Power Inverter may become uncomfortably hot
during operating. If the Power Inverter overheats, it will automatically
shutdown.
oDO provide adequate ventilation to the Power Inverter. Ensure the Power
Inverter is never covered and always allow for proper ventilation.
oDO avoid placing the Power Inverter near the vehicle’s heat vent or in
direct sunlight. Proper cooling is essential when operating the Power
Inverter.
aWarning – Overload Situation
oDO make sure the device you plug into the Power Inverter is less or equal
to 80 watt. If the device plugged into the Power Inverter is more than 80
watt, the Power Inverter will automatically shutdown to avoid an overload
of power.
aOther Safety Precautions
oDO NOT open the case of the Power Inverter. The high voltage inside the
case is the same type of power as your electrical outlets at home. Opening
case will automatically void the warranty.
oDO NOT expose this Power Inverter to flammable fumes or gases such as
a gasoline powered vehicle, or near any propane tanks.
oDO NOT use this Power Inverter in an enclosure containing automotive-
type, lead-acid batteries to avoid hydrogen gas explosion, which can catch
fire by sparks from electrical connections.

oDO NOT connect the Power Inverter directly to another AC power source.
Damage may result and such damage will void the warranty.
oKeep this Power Inverter away from children. This Power Inverter
produces power just like the wall outlets at home and should be treated
seriously.
oWrongfully plugging the AC power outlet LINE/NEUTRAL will void the
warranty.
oUse common sense to store this Power Inverter. Do not place this Inverter
near any batteries, gasoline, explosive vapors or other flammable and
dangerous materials.
oPlease disconnect all power sources should there be anything wrong with
the Power Inverter operation.

3. Using your Prudent Way 80 Watt Power Inverter
Step 1. Start your vehicle engine.

Power Inverter into your vehicle’s
cigarette socket before starting
engine)
Step 2. Plug the Power Inverter into
your vehicle’s cigarette
lighter socket. The Power
Inverter’s green LED
indicator should light up.
This signifies the Power
Inverter is operating properly
and ready for use.(Picture 2)
Step 3. Plug the AC device into the
three-prong AC receptacle
and turn it on. Make sure it
uses 80 watts or less of AC
power. (Picture 3)
Step 4. Do not allow an AC device to
be plugged into the Power
Inverter when starting the
vehicle. Always remove the
Power Inverter from the
cigarette lighter socket when
it is not in use.

Caution! The output of this Power Inverter is non-sinusoidal. Therefore, do not use this Power Inverter with small battery-
operated products such as rechargeable flashlights, some rechargeable shavers, and night-lights that are plugged directly into
an AC receptacle to recharge. Do not use this Inverter with some chargers for nickel-cadmium battery used in powered-hand
tools. These chargers display warning labels stating that dangerous voltages are present at the charger’s battery terminals.
Caution! This Power Inverter is designed for use with devices with a power rating of less than 80 watts and starting surge
power of less than 160 watts. The continuous power rating is 75 watts. Please confirm the wattage requirement for your
device before using. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the Power Inverter or the electronic devices.
4. Simple Troubleshooting
Problem Possible cause and solution
Green LED light not on Vehicle cigarette lighter fuse maybe blown.
Check the vehicle’s fuse. If damaged, replace
it with a new one.
Make sure the Power Invert is securely plugged
into the vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket. Be
sure the socket is clean.
Power Inverter’s fuse may be blown. Check
and replace it with a new one.
Turn ignition switch to accessory position.

6. 1-Year Limited Warranty
Prudent Way Inc (Prudent Way) warrants this product against defects in material and
workmanship under normal use and service for one year from the original purchase date.
Prudent Way, at its option, will repair or replace the defective unit covered by this
warranty. Please retain the original sales receipt as the proof of the purchase required for
obtaining warranty service. This warranty is in effect when the product is handled and
used as stated in the user manuals. This warranty does not cover any damage due to
accident, misuse, abuse, or negligence.
This limited warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by Prudent Way in
connection with your Prudent Way product. To the extent permitted by law, PRUDENT
WAY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER IMPLIED OR EXPRESS WARRANTIES,
INCLUDING ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND/OR FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
