1. Press <① Power switch> to turn on the radio.
2. Press <② Band switch/Scan and memory radio channels> to switch to “FM” or “AM” band.
3. How to search and store channels?
1) Long press<② Band switch/Scan and memory radio channels> to automatically search, store and number the channels
around you. The channels are sorted incrementally as "P00""P01” …
2) Long press <⑥ UP button> or <⑦ DOWN button> to search for the next or previous available channels around you,
when there is a channel, it will stop searching and play the current channel automatically.
4. Press <③ Volume up/Time set/Next stored>or <④ Volume down/Alarm clock/Previous stored> to select the stored
channels.
5. Long and continuously press <③ Volume up/Time set/Next stored>or <④ Volume down/Alarm clock/Previous stored>
to adjust the volume.
6. Press <① Power switch> to turn off the radio directly (Attention: When the radio is OFF, it will turn into clock mode).
Note:
◆Adjust the position and rotate the radio to get the best reception.
◆In order to get better reception, when using the radio indoors, please approach it to the window and do your best to keep
it away from the electronic devices (such as computers, TVs, refrigerators, mobile phones, etc).

Thank you for purchasing the PRUNUS J-157 radio. In order to get the best from the radio please read this manual care-
fully before using it.
1. The radio requires 2 AAA batteries which can be replaced. Please install the batteries before using it.
2. If you will not use the radio for a long time, please take out the batteries.
3. Change the batteries in time if the sound is distorted or the volume is faint.
4. Keep the product away from liquid or overheated environment.

1. How to set time?
1) Press <① Power switch> to turn into clock mode.
2) Long press <③ Volume up/Time set/Next stored> to set the clock time.
3) Press <⑥ UP button> or <⑦ DOWN button> to select 12 or 24 hours mode , the screen numbers will flash 5 seconds,
you need to choose in this period.
4) Then press<③ Volume up/Time set/Next stored> in 5 seconds, the hour numbers start flickering, press <⑥ UP
button>or <⑦ DOWN button> to adjust the hour time, please set the hour time in 5 seconds.
5) Follow the same procedure in 4) to set the minutes time.
6) Press<③ Volume up/Time set/Next stored> again or wait 5 seconds, the minutes numbers will stop flickering, then the
screen numbers show the time you set.
2. How to set alarm clock?
1) Long press <④ Volume down/Alarm clock/Previous stored>, the alarm clock icon and the hour numbers start flicker-
ing, you need to set the alarm clock hour time in 5 seconds.
2) Press <⑥ UP button> or <⑦ DOWN button> to set the hour time, then press <④ Volume down/Alarm clock/Previous
stored> again, the minutes numbers start flickering, you need to set the alarm clock minutes time in 5 seconds.
3) Press <⑥ UP button> or <⑦ DOWN button> to set the minutes time, the minutes numbers and will flash 5 seconds
to back to clock mode.
4) Press <④ Volume down/Alarm clock/Previous stored> again to finish the setting and check the alarm clock time, the
numbers and will stop flickering after 3 seconds (Attention: Once is on the screen, it means the alarm clock has
been set).
3. How to stop the alarm clock?

1) When the alarm clock rings, will flash, you can press any button to stop the alarm clock (please note: it will ring again
at the same time the next day).
2) If you want to permanently cancel the alarm clock you’ve set, please press <④ Volume down/Alarm clock/Previous
stored>, then will disappear which means the alarm clock has been canceled, and the radio will not ring when the time
is up. (Note: press this button again can turn on the alarm clock you have canceled).
Note:
If you take the battery out, you need to reset the time and alarm clock when you put the batteries on again.

1. When the radio is OFF, press <⑧ Timer button> to set timer (the sign “sw” appears and starts flicking): the first press for
240 minutes timer, next several press for 180, 120, 90, 60, 45, 30, 20, 15, 10, 5, 3 minutes, then press for 1 minute timer, one
more next press for “OFF” which means turning off the timer.
Note:
The numbers will flash only 3 seconds for each timer, please switch to other timer in 3 seconds if you want. Once the flashing
icon “sw” is on the screen, it means the timer has been set.
2. When the time comes, the radio will ring and will flash with “sw”, press any button to stop it, then “sw” and disap-
pear, which means the timer is over and it won’t ring again.
3.If you want to cancel the timer you’ve set, please restart the radio. Once “sw” disappears, it means the timer has been
canceled.

stored> again, the minutes numbers start flickering, you need to set the alarm clock minutes time in 5 seconds.
3) Press <⑥ UP button> or <⑦ DOWN button> to set the minutes time, the minutes numbers and will flash 5 seconds
to back to clock mode.
4) Press <④ Volume down/Alarm clock/Previous stored> again to finish the setting and check the alarm clock time, the
numbers and will stop flickering after 3 seconds (Attention: Once is on the screen, it means the alarm clock has
been set).
3. How to stop the alarm clock?
Timer Function
1. Long press <⑤ Sleep Timer button/Lock button> for 3 seconds until the Key icon appears and starts flicking, it
means the other buttons are locked.
2. If you want the other buttons to work again please press the Lock button for 3 seconds until disappears, it means the
other buttons has been unlocked.
Lock Key
1. In any mode, press <⑤ Sleep Timer button/Lock button> to set sleep timer.
2. Then the screen will appear flashing sleep timer number and after first press, which means the sleep timer is ready to
be set.
3. Press <⑤ Sleep Timer button/Lock button> to select your desired time from 90, 60, 45, 30, 15, 10 minutes.
4. Wait for 3 seconds until the time number you selected change to radio frequency number, now the sleep timer has been
set successfully and will keep flashing to remind you that you have done it.
5. If you want to change a sleep timer, please press <⑤ Sleep Timer button/Lock button> again to set a new one follow
the step3.
6. If you want to cancel the sleep timer, please just restart the radio. Once disappears, it means the sleep timer has been
canceled.
Sleep Timer
In order not to disturb others around you, you can use headphones.
1. Plug the headphone into the <⑪ Earphone jack> and the radio will automatically switch to headphone listening mode
and the built-in speaker will be muted.
2. When you pull out the headphones, the radio will return to the speaker mode. Please adjust the volume in time , to adapt
to the surrounding environment and your own hearing needs.
Note:
When in headphone listening mode, the earphone wires are used as aerial. So please don’t roll your earphone wires in case
of reception is not good.

For emergency use, our radio has a <⑩ Flashlight bulb> and SOS alarm design with it.
1.Long press <① Power switch/Flashlight switch/SOS alarm> for 3 seconds to turn ON the flashlight, press this button
again to turn it OFF.
2.In any mode, long press <① Power switch/Flashlight switch/SOS alarm> for 6 seconds to start on the SOS mode. The
radio will sound an alarm and the flashlight bulb will emit SOS signal. You can press any button to stop the alarm.
