Your Psalte Organ Works Co. pedalboard is constructed using traditional spruce/pine/fur solid wood
and is wear tested mec anically for consistent, durable operation and play-ability. T e pedal
arrangement comprises a full two octave plus one C, making t ree C note pedals total. Wit a footprint
measuring 39 inc es by 29 inc es overall, your pedalboard can easily be incorporated into an existing
setup.
T e arrangement of t e pedals incorporates a concave and radial pattern w ic is widely accepted
around t e world and part of AGO and BDO standards. However, instead of implementing eit er AGO
or BDO standards strictly, t e design goal of t e PD25MU0101 was to create a pedalboard for use at
ome or any space t at is slig tly confined compared to t e volume of space needed for a fully
standards compliant, larger, more traditional pedalboard.
For more t an 30 years, manufactures ave produced MIDI compliant instruments, equipment and
software. Your pedalboard conforms to t e MIDI standard and can be connected to MIDI compliant
keyboard/synt esizers/tone generators etc. Most modern operating systems (OS's) support t e MIDI
standard. Your pedalboard allows attac ing a MIDI standard cable via t e MIDI standard DIN
connector or by t e USB A connector t at supports t e USB MIDI standard.

Requirements 3
Your pedalboard comes wit an AC adapter and USB cable. A USB cable is required to power t e
pedalboard.
USB Power
Your MD25MU0101 pedalboard requires a USB power source suc as a AC power adapter (supplied),
computer, keyboard, synt esizer, tablet, or smart p one to operate properly. T e pedalboard may
require current up to 500mA .
A USB cable wit #24 wire size conductors (like t e one supplied) s ould be used. T e USB cable
used wit your pedalboard must ave a USB male type A connector on one end. On t e ot er end, any
ot er type USB connector may be used as required by t e equipment t at will power t e pedalboard.
T e USB cable supplied wit your pedalboard meets t e requirements above and as a USB type A
male connector at eac end. T e AC power adapter supplied as a USB type A female connector.
Using Your pedalboard
Before using your pedalboard read t e IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS at t e front of t is
manual.
Setup
T ere are two options available for connecting your pedalboard to ot er equipment. How you connect
your pedalboard depends on ow it is to be used and t e capabilities of t e equipment to w ic it will
be connected.
USB MIDI Operation
Most computers ave USB ports wit no DIN connector. Connection to a computer can be made by
using t e USB cable supplied or ot er USB cable wit a USB type A connector on t e end at t e
pedalboard. In t is case, t e computer (or ot er USB device) will power t e pedalboard and t e MIDI
signal will also be available to t e computer via t e same USB cable (supplied). W ile t e USB cable
is being used, t e DIN connection is also available and t e MIDI signal will be transmitted over t e
DIN standard cable simultaneously to ot er equipment if used.
MIDI Standard DI Operation
To use your pedalboard wit existing equipment t at ave MIDI standard DIN connectors use a MIDI
standard DIN cable and t e DIN connector on t e pedalboard. T e USB cable must still be used to
power t e pedalboard. Any USB standard device t at supplies power, suc as a computer or AC wall
adapter (supplied) can be used. If t e AC wall adapter is used to power t e pedalboard t e USB MIDI
signal will not be available to a USB device but t e MIDI DIN signal will still be available and
transmitted over a DIN cable.
Configuration 4
Your pedalboard's MIDI C annel, USB MIDI logical cable, Pedal Sensitivity, Pedal Velocity and
Transpose Interval are all configurable via MIDI System Exclusive commands. Any device or software

t at can send specific/custom MIDI System Exclusive commands can be used to set t ese parameters.
