Download the free Pure Connect app on your
iOS or Android device, and connect your Jongo
to a world of music.
Pure Connect lets you stream your own music
collection, gives you access to over 20,000 live
radio stations from around the world, podcasts
and a library of over 200,000 programs.

Setting up your first Jongo?
If you have already set up your first Jongo, jump to
step 7.
Switch Jongo on.
When the Power light turns
solid green, press the Wi-Fi
button on the back.
Wait a few seconds for the
Power light to flash amber.

Search for Jongo
On your mobile device search for available Wi‑Fi
networks. Your Jongo will be listed as a network.
Connect to this network.

Add Jongo to your wireless network
The Jongo Setup page should open automatically
on your device. If not, open your internet browser
and enter myjongo in the address bar.
If you want to rename your Jongo, type in the
new name and tap Change name.
Select your wireless network.
Enter your network password if required and
tap Connect.
!
Once you click Connect the light will pulse and
then turn solid green to show that your Jongo
is connected.
If the connection fails, the light will flash
red. Don’t worry, this probably means
you mistyped your Wi‑Fi password.
Just go back to step 2 and try again.

AAfter selecting the content that you want to
listen to, the player bar will appear at the bottom
of the window.
Open the Pure Connect App and select
the music you want to listen to.
You can choose from Pure Music*, live radio, on
demand content, ambient sounds and the music
stored on your device.
*Pure Music is only available in certain countries.

Start streaming!
To stream to your Jongo:
Tap in the player bar to view a list of available
Jongo devices on your network.
Tap next to your Jongo.

You’re all set up. Enjoy your music.

Adding another Jongo to your network?
1. Switch on your new Jongo.
2. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on any Jongo
that is already connected to your network until
the Power light pulses green.
3. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the back of
the new Jongo until the Power light pulses green.
After around 30 seconds, the Power lights on both
Jongos will light steady green to confirm that the new
Jongo is connected to your network.

Using Bluetooth
1. Insert the Bluetooth
dongle into the back
of Jongo.
2. Enable the Bluetooth
option on your mobile
device and search for
Bluetooth devices.
3. Pair.
If your device requires
a key enter “0000”.
Using the auxiliary input
Connect the line out or
headphone socket of your
auxiliary device to the Aux in
socket on your Jongo using
a suitable cable. Jongo will
automatically play any audio
that is playing on the auxiliary
device.

Mono 360º
Select this profile to activate all five speakers in
Jongo. This option is ideal if placing Jongo in
the middle of a room or table.
Outdoor boost
Select this profile to boost all five speakers in
Jongo for outdoor use.
Stereo 360º
Select this profile to enable the four speakers
to play stereo left and right audio ‑ and enable
the subwoofer. This option is ideal for creating
a big stereo sound.
Stereo forward facing
Select this profile to enable stereo on the front
two speakers and enable the subwoofer. This
option is ideal if placing Jongo on a bookshelf
or in a corner.
Changing audio profiles
Jongo features four audio profiles. You can change the
audio profile by pressing the Audio button on the rear of
Jongo. Each audio profile is represented by a set of icons
on the LCD screen as shown below.

Jongo S3 Safety Instructions
1. Read these instructions – All the safety and operating instructions should be read before this
product is operated.
2. Keep these instructions – The safety and operating instructions should be retained for future
reference.
3. Heed all warnings – All warnings on the appliance and in the operating instructions should be
adhered to.
4. Follow all instructions – All operating and use instructions should be followed.
5. Clean only with dry cloth.
6. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other
apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
7. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
8. Unplug the apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
9. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been
damaged in any way, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
10. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove plastic cover or screws unless instructed
by the user guide as there are no user‑serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified
personnel.
11. Use only power supplies listed in the user instructions (with model no.ZDD090150,
manufactured by Pure.
12. Avoid liquids getting into Jongo. Should not be immersed in water, or used where this may
happen, such as a bathroom.
13. The equipment’s ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with
items such as newspaper, table‑cloths, curtains etc.
14. WARNING Please refer to the information on the bottom exterior of the enclosure for electrical
and safety information before installing or operating the apparatus.
15. WARNING To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or
moisture. The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that objects filled
with liquids, such as vases, shall not be placed on apparatus.
16. CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or
equivalent type.
17. WARNING: The direct plug‑in adapter is used as disconnect device, the disconnect device shall
remain readily operable.
18. This equipment is a Class II or double insulated electrical appliance. It has been designed
in such a way that it does not require a safety connection to electrical earth.

ChargePAK F1 Safety Instructions
1. Read the instructions for ChargePAK use in this document.
2. Only use your ChargePAK with original Pure products.
3. Do not dismantle, open or shred ChargePAK.
4. Do not expose ChargePAK to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight
5. Do not short‑circuit a ChargePAK. Do not store ChargePAKs haphazardly in a box or drawer
where they may short‑circuit each other or be short‑circuited by other metal objects.

correct use.
12. Do not use any cell or battery which is not designed for use with the equipment.
13. Keep ChargePAK out of the reach of children.
14. Seek medical advice immediately if a cell or a battery has been swallowed.
15. Always purchase the correct ChargePAK for the equipment.
16. Keep ChargePAK clean and dry.
17. Wipe the ChargePAK terminals with a clean dry cloth if they become dirty.
18. After extended periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge ChargePAK
several times to obtain maximum performance.
19. Secondary cells and batteries give their best performance when they are operating at normal
room temperature (20 °C ± 5 °C).
20. Retain the original product literature for future reference.
21. Use only the ChargePAK in the application for which it was intended.
22. Dispose of ChargePAK properly.

Warranty information
Imagination Technologies Limited warrants to the end user that this product will be free from
defects in materials and workmanship in the course of normal use for a period of two years
from the date of purchase (One year for ChargePAK). This guarantee covers breakdowns due to
manufacturing or design faults; it does not apply in cases such as accidental damage, however
caused, wear and tear, negligence, adjustment, modification or repair not authorised by us.
