Stainless Steel bearing-less jets come in a variety of sizes and
congurations in your spa pool to deliver a range of pressures and
massage feels to those persons soaking. Activate by turning on the
jet pump via the topside control panel.
3MASSAGE JETS
Only on the Revive5 and Grand6 models - a perimeter of mini
LED lights surround the top inner edge of the acrylic and can be
switched between 13 colour options with the topside control panel.
2LED PERIMETER LIGHTING
Turn this dial to increase (slightly) the pressure of the jets in a
particular set of seats (usually the one/s closest to the dial) by
injecting air into the stream of water to boost it.
1AIR VENTURI
This smaller three pin valve is used to adjust the ow rate of the
waterfall. To turn o - simply twist clockwise until fully closed, and
reverse this process to turn on.
4WATERFALL CONTROL DIAL
Only on the Revive5 and Grand6 models - Speakers mounted in the
acrylic will play music when a device is plugged into the docking
station (located on outside of the spa pool) see #13. A LED backlight
provides a touch of class.
5LED SPEAKERS
Device used to customise the pressure and ow of water by
diverting from one zone of the spa to another by simply twisting the
diverter clockwise and anticlockwise. By having the diverter open
to both zones you will evenly distribute water ow and pressure
between both.
6PRIMARY DIVERTER
Select hydrotherapy seats have headrests as a comfort option to
add to the relaxation experience.
7HEADREST

Button pad and temperature display panel located on the top of the
spa into which various commands, control sequences and options
for operating the spa can be input.
10 TOPSIDE CONTROL PANEL
A large LED oodlight sits below the waterline to tint the water to
the desired colour.
9LED FLOODLIGHT
Backlit waterfall produces a steady stream of water and illuminates
with the colour of the chosen LED setting. This can be turned on
and o using the three pin valve (see #4).
8LED WATERFALL
The skimmer box houses your lter which water is drawn through
when the pump is engaged. Remove the lid and basket underneath
to remove and clean the lter.
11 SKIMMER BOX
Pump intakes sit in the footwell of the spa and the water is drawin
through to be expelled back through the jets.
12 PUMP INTAKES
Water ows out this port when the external drain valve is released.
Small Ozone bubbles may emit from time to time during lter
cycles.
The waterproof docking station houses your device while you
connect it to the audio system via the 3.5mm aux cord.

The multiple vertical slats hold the cabinet panels to the framing of
the spa pool.
16 VERTICAL SLAT
The female cover clips are not installed by default and need to be
screwed into the spa when you rst put on your cover. The straps
on the cover have a male end which click and lock into this clip and
then you release via the key provided.
15 COVER CLIP
Multiple cabinet panels surround the outer edge of your spa which
protect the components inside. Each panel is held on with vertical
slats which sit either side (see #16).

3. COLLECTION / DELIVERY & SETUP
Trailer Pickup (From CHCH or AUCK Warehouses, or Local Freight Depot)
The spa can be forklifted onto your trailer vertical (on it’s side for cage trailers)
or horizontal (for at deck / standard no-cage trailers.)
Warehouse Collection: Please ensure you have booked a pickup time with
PureSpas and your balance has been settled. Take your completed invoice.
Freight Depot: When your spa arrives at the freight depot, you will receive a call
for you to organize collection.
Transport Delivery
If your spa is being delivered to your driveway, once arrived, it will be removed
from the tail-gate truck via a pallet-jack and left vertical on a pallet. You will then
need to organize moving the spa into position either by man-power (4-6 strong
persons) or via the use of a local Hiab crane truck.
Hiab Crane Truck Assistance
A Hiab Crane Truck is a great option for spa delivery and is surprisingly
aordable. Local Hiabs range from $80-$140 / hour, usually have a reach
between of at least 10m and can lift over fences, hedges, gates and houses.
Consider access via a neighbours driveway.
Shifting Your Spa
Moving your spa will require man-power (at least 4-6 persons depending on the
size and weight of your model).
Packaging
Every PureSpa is carefully wrapped in packaging to protect it during transport.
Please remove the packaging and recycle/discard. If you notice any damage
from transport, please contact us directly.
Water Residue
You may notice a bit of water residue inside the spa pool, this is because every
PureSpa is thoroughly water tested at time of manufacture.

4. WIRING & ELECTRICAL INFORMATION
All electrical connections (except for plugging in) MUST be performed by a
licensed electrician and the resulting outcomes must conform to all national,
regional and local electrical codes in eect at time of installation.
DO NOT TURN ON THE POWER TO YOUR SPA BEFORE IT HAS BEEN
FILLED WITH WATER.
THIS SPA DRAWS NO MORE THAN 15AMPS AT ANY ONE TIME.
Cable/Plug
A 4.5m 15amp cable with plug has been pre-wired to this Spa pool and can
be plugged into an RCD protected 15amp socket (not an ordinary 10amp wall
socket). The cable can be found coiled up inside the spa cabinet - see next page
for location.
Where to Plug In?
If you have a 15amp outdoor socket protected by an RCD, then you can plug
straight in with the cable provided.
If not, please discuss your options with an electrician.
Electrical Info
15amps [230 - 240V AC 50hz IPX5]

4. WIRING & ELECTRICAL INFORMATION (Cont.)
Where to nd your System Controller and Cable.
Cable Exit Point
There are no pre-drilled holes for the cable to exit from as each customers spa
location/placement will be dierent.
There are a few solutions for your cable inlet/outlet:
1. You can either drill through the cabinet and put in a cable grommet to seal the
hole.
2. Drill through the base of the spa if your wire is coming up from underneath.
Open a cabinet panel, locate the correct position of your cable and drill from the
inside of the spa down through the base.
Your Spa Pool controller and 4.5m cable is behind the marked cabinet panel in
the above photo. To access, remove the vertical slats (upright binding slats with 3
screws) that are either side of the cabinet panel, to slide the panel out.

5. INSTALLING & FILLING
Cleaning Your Spa
As all PureSpas go through thorough water testing at time of manufacture, there
may be some excess water residue inside the spa and pipes. It’s a good idea to
give your spa a quick wipe down with a cloth before lling with fresh water.
Choosing the Best Position
When choosing where to position your spa, the rst thing you should consider
is what is going beneath it. Your spa is very heavy, weighing anything between
1200kg and 2500kg when lled. It is therefore very important you choose an
adequate foundation that is strong and level to ensure there is no shifting or
strain on the shell or cabinet.
The base we recommend you use is either a thick reinforced concrete pad, or a
well built deck. If you choose a deck as a base, please check that it complies with
all NZ building standards to ensure that it can adequately withstand your spa’s
weight.
Check Drainage
You need to be sure the area in which the spa is placed has enough drainage
capacity to handle the entire water content of the spa. In the event of spillage,
areas around the spa may become wet; therefore, all ooring, furniture, walls
and adjacent structures should be moisture-resistant.
Check Service Access
It is important to consider the access to the cabinets surrounding the Spa Pool.
In the unlikely event of a leak or issue with components, a service agent may
require access to a particular cabinet. We advise leaving a 600mm perimeter of
space around the entire spa, otherwise the spa will need to be moved by the
customer into a position suitable for a technician at time of service.

6. UNDERSTANDING YOUR SPA
This Spa uses the Spa Power SP601 Controller and Panel from Spa Quip (Davies).
OPERATING YOUR TOPSIDE CONTROLLER
Ozone
All PureSpas are equipped with the latest Ozone purication system. Ozone is a
highly eective method of destroying bacteria and removing impurities. It’s drip
fed into the water line and forced to mix with water in a specialty mixing chamber
which reduces the amount of additional sanitizer required.
Water Maintanence
An integral part of owning a spa pool is sanitizing and balancing the water - this
is vital for your enjoyment when bathing but also to protect the spa and it’s
components. A full kit should be purchased and regular water maintanence
undertaken to to protect your health and prevent warranty issues.
A handy ‘Spa Pool Water Care Handbook’ is included with a startup kit purchased
at PureSpas, Alpine Spas or Spa Supplies.
