PRECAUTIONS INSTALLATIONS EXPANDED VIEWFEATURES
This decoy CCTV camera is produced in the same
housing as our real surveillance cameras to give
authenticity to the appearance of the decoy along with
the flashing LED.
This simple, cost-effective solution offers increased
visual deterrence to would-be thieves and vandals. It is
supplied with an adjustable 3-axis mounting bracket as
found on the actual camera. This allows the decoy to
be positioned on horizontal or vertical surfaces indoors
or outdoors using the included mounting screws and
positioned in an authentic manner.
The flashing red LED light gives the appearance of
an active camera and draws attention to the decoy,
increasing the deterrent effect. The LED is powered by
the included pair of AAA batteries which will operate the
light for two to three months.
Before mounting the camera, the batteries should be
installed first.
1. Slide sun shade forward.
2. Twist body shell front counter-clockwise to
release it from the back and mount.
3. Insert batteries into the battery compartment
making certain to align them according to the
“+” and “-” markers.
4. Reattach body shell front to the back and
mount by rotating clockwise to lock.
5. Adjust sun shade as needed.
Avoid damage by installing and using this unit according
to instructions.
Ensure that the camera housing is properly closed
when the camera is mounted.
This device can only be powered by AAA batteries. Do
not attempt to use any power adapter. Take care to
properly align batteries according to polarity. Replace
all batteries at the same time and use only matching
batteries.
CAUTION! Risk of electrical shock.
To prevent electric
shock, do not touch uninsulated parts. Do not open unit
except to install or replace batteries.
Handle decoy camera with care.
Do not hit, shake,
puncture or drop the unit as this could damage it and
prevent proper operation.
Do not attempt to disassemble decoy camera.
There are no user serviceable parts inside. Service should
be performed by a qualified Q-See technician only.
Avoid excessive moisture within camera or
adapters.
To avoid fire, shock hazard and damage to
your device, do not expose the insides of this unit to rain
or moisture.
