The Installation Procedure
THE INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
Important note: The tap xing studs are factory ed and should
not be ghtened or loosened.
1. The tap will require a standard 35mm hole. Important Note:
before cung the hole make sure that there is sucient
clearance between the tap handles and the splashback when
the handles are in the fully open posion.
2. Insert the exible hoses through the 35mm hole. The tap hoses
push into the tap rather than screw in so do not be alarmed
that they rotate inside the body of the tap.
3. Working inside the cabinet, slide the gasket (5) and the clamp
plate (2) over the hoses and the two studs at the base of the
tap. Screw the two clamp nuts (3) on to the studs using the box
spanner (4).
4. Check the alignment of the tap then ghten the two clamp nuts
using the box spanner to rmly secure it on the work surface.
5. Connect the hot and cold G1/2” exible hoses to the respecve
hot and cold supplies and ghten them rmly to make a
waterght seal. The tap hose with the blue indicator should
be connected to the cold supply and the hose with the orange
indicator to the hot supply.
6. Turn on the water supply and check the Installaon for leaks.
Your QETTLE tap is now ready to use (as a precauon we
recommend checking for leaks again before rering for the
