Gooseneck Page Station Podium Mount Bracket
Quick Start Guide
Introduction
In addition to the angled mounting bracket that is shipped with the Gooseneck Page Station, the Podium Mounting Bracket (PS-ACC) is available as an
accessory for the Q-Sys Gooseneck Microphone Page Stations. The intended purpose for the bracket is to mount a Gooseneck Page Station flush with
the surface of a angled mounting surface, such as you would find on a typical podium. The angle of the podium gives enough of a tilt to allow you to
easily see the keys and operate the Page Station.
Mounting The Gooseneck Microphone Page Station
1. Select the surface on which you wish to mount the Page Station. The surface should have
enough access space below it to allow you to install the mounting nuts and bolts, and the Page
Station cables. The ideal thickness of the surface is 0.5 inch. If it is thicker, use longer screws, if it
is thinner, you can use 1/4" washers or a spacer to compensate.
2. Place the Podium-Mount template on the surface oriented as you wish. If needed, use some
tape to hold the template in place.
3. Be sure there is nothing below the mounting surface that can be damaged during the
mounting procedure.
4. Mark the four standoff/screw holes and cable-access opening as indicated by the template.
5. Use a 1/4” drill bit to drill the four holes.
6. Use the proper tool for the surface material to make the cable-access opening in the surface.
7. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the top two screws on the back of the Page Station. Save
the screws. (see Figure 1)
8. Place the Page Station (1) into the Podium Mount Bracket (2) as shown in Figure 2. The hole (3)
in the securing tab aligns with the hole (4) behind the cutout in the front of the Page Station
9. Insert the two screws (6) (removed in step 6) through the holes in the bottom of the Podium
Mount Bracket into the Page Station. Do not tighten completely.
10. Insert and tighten the socket-head cap screw (5) through the hole in the securing tab and into the
hole in the Page Station. Using a 9/32" hex wrench.
11. Tighten the two screws in the back of the Page Station.
12. The cables can be installed at this time, or later. Refer to the Page Station User Manual. You can
obtain a copy on the QSC website (www.qscaudio.com)
13. Place the Podium-Mount bracket (2) into the bracket opening made in step 5.
14. Insert and tighten four screws with washers (not supplied) through the underside of the podium
and into the four mounting bracket standoffs.
15. Use four 10-32 screws, with the length equal to the mounting surface minus 1/16 inch.
