Warnings
Always unpack the product with 2 adults
During the unpacking of the product some caution is required. To avoid dangerous
situations or injuries it is important that unpacking the product is done by 2 adults.
Always place the product with 2 adults
The products are heavy so it is important that placing or assembling of the product will
be done by 2 adults to avoid injuries.
Heat of the plancha
Be aware that the plancha can become very hot (above 300 oC) during usage. Be
carefull avoid touching the plancha and do not place products on the plancha which
can melt (like plastic)
Finishing the cooking process
After fishing the cooking process, the plancha and bowl can stay hot for a long time.
Be aware of this. Be careful to avoid injuries and don’t place the product under or close
a roof after using the product . Keep children away from the product.
If you want to extinguish the fire, never use water! Close the air slide (always use
protection gloves) so no air will get I from below. The fire will extinguish by itself. To
fast up the process you can also put the Quoco®Piastra on top to close it and cut off
the air. Don’t use the Quoco®Ciotola for it as this can bend by the heat and is made
to close the bowl and to avoid that rain or leaves can get into it.
Do not use any liquid fluids to ignite your fuel
The fuel you use should always be ignited by firelighters. Never use liquids to ignite
your fire. Be aware that igniting a fire can be dangerous.
Keep out of the reach of children
Take special care with children as fire can be very attractive to them. Be aware that
during and after usage the product can stay warm for a long time! Avoid touching the
product, keep an eye on children and keep the product out of reach of children.
Place the product in an open area
The product is for outdoor use only. Don’t place the product inside. Place the product
in a safe surrounding, away from trees and plants and not under a roof to avoid
dangerous situations.
Avoid contact with the plancha
Fire and heat can be dangerous and can cause serious injury. Always keep a safe
distance to the product, don’t touch the plancha and product without protection gloves
during usage or afterwards.

Do not disassemble
Do not disassemble the product during usage or just after. Wait till the product is
completely cooled down. Clean the bowl and disassemble the product with at least 2
adults.
Do not place anything else on the plancha which is not related to cooking
Products which are not designed for cooking, or not suitable for high temperatures
should not be used in combination with the product. Those products can become too
hot and injuries can occur.
Do not throw anything in the fire which can explode or occure dangerous
situations
Don’t throw anything in the fire which can explode like bottles, fireworks, ammunition.
Use the fire only for cooking or as a fire pit and enjoy the multifunctionality of the
product.
Observe caution when using the product
Be aware the fire can be dangerous and harm people, animals and the surrounding if
caution is not observed. Always take care of the surrounding don’t place the product
under trees or a roof during usage and avoid dangerous situations.
Avoid contact with the bowl
After usage, the bowl and piatto can be hot for a while, keep this in mind. Never move
the product during or after using. The product can be still hot and cause injury or fire
Use appropriate accessories
Appropriate accessories should be used to avoid dangerous situations.
Ignite Fire
Always use firelighters (complying to EN 1860-3) to light your fire (never use a liquid
fuel). Place the firelighters in the bowl and stack the wood as a wigwam. Open the air
slide on the inside of the base (just below the bowl so extra air can go into the bowl).
And ignite the firelighters. The and the ring will be heated up in less than 30 minutes.
Different heat zones can be created. More information about this can be found on our
website. Never use any other fuel than wood, briquets or charcoal.
Responsibility and Liability
Extremely heating up the product is unnecessary and can cause damage to the
product or/and surrounding. The owner or user of the product is responsible for the
correct and proper use of the product. The product shall be placed in a safe
surrounding. By buying this product the owner, user of the product accepts that Quoco®
will never be responsible for any damage or injury caused by misusing the product.
Quoco®does not accept liability for any damage occurred by the corrosion, of our
products.
If rust occurs on the ring, this can be removed by sandpaper. After removing put some
foodgrade oil on the ring to start again with building up the protection layer.

1. Unboxing the product
Quoco®Piatto
The Quoco®Piatto is packed on a pallet in a big carton box with a lid on it. Before
opening the box, you have to cut the strap which fastens the box to the pallet.
Always unpack the product with 2 adults to avoid damaging of the product.
Step 1
Take of the lid of the carton box
The product is placed upside down in the box and the base is fixated by a special
carton plate. The carton plate is made to hold the base in position during transport and
storage of the product. The lacker products are wraped in an extra foil to prevent it
from damaging.
Always take care by taking of the carton plate.
Step 2
Take away the carton plate
The carton plate should be taken away. Depending on the product the plate can be
attached on the sleeve with tape to keep the plate in position. First release the tape
and be sure that the opening in the middle of the carton plate does not join the base.
If the plate is free of the base, the plate can be pulled up. If the product contains lacker
extra attention is needed to avoid damaging of the lacker.
Step 3
Take away the sleeve
As the Quoco®box comes in 3 separate parts, the sleeve is also loose after taking
away the lid and the carton plate. Pull the sleeve out of the bottom lid by 2 adults. The
sleeve should come loose very easy. Lift the sleeve over the Quoco®product and take
care to avoid touching the product with the sleeve to avoid damaging of topple the
base. Because of this we recommend to take of the sleeve by 2 adults.
Step 4
Placing the base
Now the lid, carton plate and sleeve are gone, the base can be taken away by 2 adults.
Before taking away the base, check if the 4 leveling feet are connected to the base
properly. After this take away the air/ash slide to avoid that it will fall out during placing
the product and can be damaged or damage the Quoco®product. Now the base can
be taken of the bowl. The way to take it away is important as the product is placed
upside down. If the product is lacker, extra attention is needed (extra foam is placed
between the base and the bowl to avoid damaging) to avoid damage to the bowl or
base. The base has to be turned 180 degrees to place it in de correct position with the
leveling feet to the floor.
If the base is placed on the ground, adjust the leveling feet to avoid wobbling of the
base and to generate a stable situation.

After this, don’t forget to place the air/ash slide back in position.
Step 5
Placing the bowl
If the base is placed on the ground, the bowl should be placed in the right position of
the bowl. As the bowl is also placed upside down, it should be turned to place it
correctly on the base. If the Quoco®bowl is lacquered extra attention is needed to
avoid damaging and scretching the product. Always lift the bowl with 2 persons and
turn the bowl 180 degrees. Place the bowl with the air/ ash holes on the big hole of the
base.
Step 6
Placing the plancha
The last part is the plancha. The plancha is on the bottom of the box and also placed
upside down. The plancha is heavy and should be carried by 2 adults. We advise to
use gloves and be carefull with your clothes. As the plancha is flat the lid should be
pulled a little from the pallet to make lifting of the plancha easier. Be careful don’t pull
the lid to far to avoid damaging the product or causing injuries by hand or feet. The
plancha can feel a little slippery by the protection layer which is on the plancha. On the
plancha you will find tree cams. The side with the cams is the side that should be
placed on the bowl. Take out the plancha with 2 people. The plancha can be hold on
the inside or outside of it and turn it 180 degrees. The plancha should be placed with
the cams on the inside of the bowl. By placing the plancha on the bowl we advise to
keep your hands on the inside of it. Check if all the cams are on the inside to avoid that
the plancha can slip of the bowl.
To avoid damage on the plancha we advise not to roll the plancha on the ground during
transportation. Rolling it can occure scratches and burs to the plancha which makes
cleaning of it difficult and you can even hurt or cut yourself on it.
Step 7
Take away the box
Now everything is in place, take away the packaging material. As Quoco®likes to think
in possibilities we put some instructions on the box what you can do with the box. Keep
in mind that safety comes first and that dangerous situations should be avoid. Don’t do
things that can harm people, animals or nature.
Step 8
Level the product
It is important that the plancha is placed horizontal. Use a spirit level to check if the
plancha and bowl are placed horizontal. If not, move the bowl and plancha slowly till it
the plancha is in a horizontal position. Always move it with caution

2. First usage of the product
If the Quoco®is used for the first time it is important to understand the product and
material aspects before using it. We advise to read the steps below very carefully to
avoid mistakes or misuse. The product can be used in 4 different kind of ways:
Outdoor kitchen
Barbecue
Firepit/heater
Garden artwork
The Quoco®Piatto can be expand by different kind of products and accessories to fit
your cooking expectations and create even more possibilities to use the product.
3. Materials
Quoco®uses different kind of high quality of materials. Based on the part of the product
and the type of the product, this can be different.
3.1 Plancha
The Quoco®plancha is made of steel and produced in a way that it will bend inwards
when it heats up. This means that the plancha will become lower on the inside and a
bit higher on the outside.
If the Quoco®plancha is used for the first time it is important that the plancha will be
heated up slowly. If the plancha is not heated up slowly the plancha can start waving
and even become wobbly. If the plancha gets wobbly because of misuse the warranty
expires. The inside of the plancha should go down by heating up. If the inside would
go up, please contact your dealer.
By bending, oil and remains of cooking can be easy shoved into the fire. This also
avoids that oil and dirt can easily get to the ground. Of course, is attention and
carefulness always needed. The plancha is made Carbon steel, the carbon steel
plancha has a protection layer on it to avoid direct rusting. Before using, the plancha
should be cleaned. This can be done by:
1. water and soap,
2. heating up the plancha and using a tissue to take away the protection layer.
After this the plancha should be greased. More about this can be found in part 6
3.2 Base and bowl rust version
The Quoco®base and bowl are made of corten steel. Corten steel is a special alloy
with different characteristics compared to “normal” steel. One of the differences is that
corten steel creates a protection layer on the outside. This protection layer protects the
metal against rusting through and generates a longer lifetime. It also creates the
special color of the product. Normaly corten steel looks like normal steel as it comes
out of production. In normal outdoor circumstances it takes at least 1 year till the

product is rusted. The Quoco® product is already rusted. Important to know is that the
chemical process of oxidation is not completely finished so the product can still rust a
bit and corrosive water can come off. This corrosive water can damage the surface its
stand on. Be aware of this, Quoco®is not responsible for any damage occurred by this
corrosive water.
The oxidation process of corten steel can be influenced by water, salt, dirt, leaves. So,
in some circumstances the corrosion process will not stop completely. Keep this in
mind if you are close to the beach i.e.
3.3 Base and bowl painted version
The painted Quoco® base and bowl are made of an alloy with a protection layer. This
is a special alloy with different characteristics compared to “normal” steel. The lacquer
used for the Quoco®bowl and base is a heat resistant paint which is suitable for heat
application. It is important to give attention to the lacquer as the lacquer can feel “softer”
at the beginning. The lacquer has a concrete feeling which means that it can contain
darker and lighter parts. This is normal to the product and can change during using the
product, or by sun, rain or the other outdoor elements. Also, sharp objects can damage
the lacquer even as dirt and the usage of solvents. We advise to use a soft cloth to
clean the lacquer. Don’t use any sandpaper or other rough cleaning products to avoid
damaging the product
Leaves and dirt on the base or bowl will hold water which will reactivate or continue
the rust process. We advise to keep your Quoco®always clean so the protection layer
will stay in the optimum condition. Ash and leaves can create a wet dirty layer. It is
important to take this out of the bowl to minimize the rust process. To avoid rust pieces
on the outside of the bowl, it is important to clean the bowl regularly. To keep the bowl
clean the Quoco®Coperchio (lid) can be used to close de bowl and avoid that water,
dirt and leaves can get into the bowl.
4. Heating up the product
If you want to start to make a fire in the Quoco®bowl, it is important that you make the
fire in the right way and use the right materials to work safe and to avoid problems with
your surroundings. Keep in mind that making a fire is always a risk and only should be
done by an adult.
Before starting a fire, check the surrounding that nothing is above or close to the
Quoco®that can catch flame. Be sure that no children or animals are close to the
Quoco®.
If everything is safe:
1. Place the firelighters in the bottom of the bowl.
2. Make a wigwam of wood. The woodblocks should be stacked in such a way that
there is enough open space between the woodblocks and air can be entered
from below.

3. Check the air holes at the bottom of the bowl to be sure they are not blocked.
4. Open the airslide in the base so the air can get in and the system can work like
a stove.
5. Ignite your fire with some matches and wait for 20 minutes.
6. After 20 minutes spread the wood through the bowl so the flames can get under
the plancha and heat it up quickly (because of the bowl a very good airflow is
generated which generates a quick startup).
After 20 -30minutes you can start with cooking, enjoying the heat and possibilities of
the plancha. The plancha will have a temperature of about 300 C so keep this in mind.
From now you can start grilling, cooking whatever you want. Depending on the
direction of the wind a part of the plancha can become hotter and cooler. The plate
gets warmer in the direction that the wind blows. You can use this during your cooking
session and can be very useful as it generates different temperature zones. For more

Never put something on the first shelf if the air slide is open. If the air slide is open ash
and small particles of the wood can fall on the shelf. This can be hot and cause fire if
something that can burn is places on the shelf.
5. Wood
It is important to use the right kind of wood if you work with the Quoco®. We advise to
work with wood of deciduous trees. The length of the wood should be between 25 and
30 cm. At the beginning don’t us very thick logs. Using thick logs makes the igniting
the fire process very difficult and hard to control the heat. Only use dry wood to avoid
a lot of smoke. The thickness of the wood to start up the fire should have a thickness
of 5cm max. As soon as it is burning you can use bigger woodblocks.
To avoid splashing coal we advise to use no pine wood. Pine wood will splash and
needs a lot of attention as hot coals can splash on the plancha or even on the terrace.
Never use waste, impregnated or painted wood. This contains toxic gasses which can
get into the air your food and will be very unhealthy.
6. Greasing the plancha
The plancha is made of carbon steel and needs to be greased before use. To grease
the plancha a tissue and a food grade oil is needed. After igniting the fire and cleaning
the plancha a bit of food grade oil should be put on a tissue. Rub the oiled tissue on
the plancha. A thin oil layer is created, and the oil will be burned into the metal. The
thin layer gives an oxidation protection and a nonstick layer to the plancha. The best
is to repeat the oiling process each time during start-up and after finishing. The plancha
should be cleaned (chapter 7) after finishing the cooking process before rubbing it with
the oiled tissue.

If the Quoco®isn’t used, it is important to grease the plancha occasionally to avoid rust
on the plancha. We advise to oil the plancha at least once every 2 weeks.
If rust would occur on the plancha, it can be removed by sandpaper or a wire brush.
After removing don’t forget to put some food grade oil on the ring to start with building
up the protection layer again. Repeat this process several times.
7. Cleaning
7.1 Plancha
By cleaning the plancha attention is important.
To clean the plancha fast and easy the next tools are needed:
1. Quoco® Spatola
2. Tissue
Attention is needed to prevent burns as the plancha will be hot during cleaning. The
Quoco® Guanti can be very usefull in this case to protect your hands and forearm.
Take the Quoco®spatula, wipe the dirt and oil residues inwards (towards the fire) so
that it ends up in the bowl and can burn. When all residues have been removed, take
a tissue and wipe the plancha clean. Now it should be free of oil and food residues if
not repeat the process. When the plancha is "dry" and clean, a start can be made to
re-oil the plancha (chapter 6).
7.2 Bowl
We advise you to clean the bowl every time after using the product. By cleaning the
bowl every time and releasing the ash you avoid that the ash becomes a clod.
8. Extinguish the fire
The best way to extinguish the fire is let the fire go out by itself. Don’t use water to
extinguish the fire. To extinguish the fire, you can also use the Piastra to close the
plancha. Don’t use the Coperchio to extinguish the fire as this is not made for it and
can bend. Keep in mind that the bowl and plancha can stay hot for a long time even
when the fire is extinguished. The ash in the bowl can contain hot coal so be careful!
9. Warranty
Quoco®has a limited lifetime warranty which depends on the part of the product. The
product should be bought at an authorized dealer and the product should be registered
in the required way. To register your product in the right way, go to our website and fill

10. General advices
10.1 Terrace
As the base of the Quoco®is made of Corten Steel with adjustable feet, there is no
direct contact between the Corten steel and your terrace. Despite this, there is always
a chance by the different elements that rust will attach to your terrace.
10.2 Protecting the ground
As the plancha of the Quoco® Piatto bends and the oil will go to the inside of the
plancha, it is not necessary to protect the ground. Ofcourse there is always a possibility
that oil drops or food will fall on the ground. To protect your outdoor floor, it could be
useful to place a plate (wood or steel) underneath the Quoco®Piatto.
10.3 Slide in the base
The slide in the bottom has 2 functions:
1. Release the ash
2. Add air to the bowl.
Keep in mind that glowing parts can fall down if the slide is open. If the slide is open
be aware that no wood is below to avoid smolder or burning of the stored wood.

Waarschuwingen
Pak het product altijd uit met 2 volwassenen
Tijdens het uitpakken van het product is enige voorzichtigheid vereist. Om gevaarlijke
situaties of verwondingen te voorkomen, is het belangrijk dat het uitpakken van het
product wordt gedaan door 2 volwassenen.
Plaats het product altijd met 2 volwassenen
De producten zijn zwaar dus het is belangrijk dat het plaatsen of monteren van het
product wordt gedaan door 2 volwassenen om beschadiging of verwondingen te
voorkomen.
Warmte van de plancha
Houd er rekening mee dat de plancha tijdens gebruik erg heet kan worden (boven
300C). Pas op dat u de plancha niet aanraakt en plaats geen producten op de plancha
die kunnen smelten (zoals plastic) of kunnen gaan branden.
Het kookproces beëindigen
Na het koken kan de plancha nog lang warm blijven. Ben hiervan bewust. Wees
voorzichtig om verwondingen te voorkomen en plaats het product niet onder een
overkapping of binnen. Houd kinderen uit de buurt van het product.
Als je het vuur wilt doven, gebruik dan nooit water! Sluit de luchtschuif (gebruik altijd
beschermende handschoenen), zodat er geen lucht naar binnen komt. Het vuur dooft
vanzelf. Om het proces te versnellen kun je de Quoco® Piastra ook op de opening van
de plancha plaatsen om hem te. Gebruik de Quoco® Ciotola hier niet voor omdat deze
door de hitte kan verbuigen.
Gebruik geen vloeibare vloeistoffen om uw brandstof te laten ontbranden
De brandstof (hout, briketten, houtskool) die u gebruikt, moet altijd aangestoken
worden met behulp van aanmaakblokjes (EN 1860-3). Gebruik nooit vloeistoffen om
uw vuur aan te steken. Houd er rekening mee dat het ontsteken van vuur altijd
gevaarlijk kan zijn.
Buiten het bereik van kinderen en dieren houden
Wees extra voorzichtig met kinderen, vuur kan erg aantrekkelijk voor hen zijn. Houd er
rekening mee dat het product tijdens en na gebruik langdurig warm kan blijven! Raak
het product niet aan, houd kinderen in de gaten en houd het product buiten het bereik
van kinderen en dieren.
Plaats het product in een open ruimte
Het product is alleen voor gebruik buitenshuis. Plaats het product niet binnen. Plaats
het product in een veilige omgeving, uit de buurt van bomen en planten en niet onder
een dak wanneer deze gebruikt wordt dit om gevaarlijke situaties te voorkomen.
Vermijd contact met de plancha

Vuur en hitte kunnen gevaarlijk zijn en ernstig letsel veroorzaken. Houd altijd een
veilige afstand tot het product, raak de plancha en het product, tijdens gebruik of erna,
niet aan zonder beschermende handschoenen.
Niet uit elkaar halen
Demonteer het product niet tijdens gebruik of kort erna. Wacht tot het product volledig
is afgekoeld. Reinig de kom en demonteer het product met ten minste 2 volwassenen.
Plaats niets anders op de plancha die niets te maken heeft met koken
Producten die niet ontworpen zijn om te koken of niet geschikt zijn voor hoge
temperaturen, mogen niet in combinatie met het product worden gebruikt. Deze
producten kunnen te warm worden en verwondingen kunnen optreden.
Gooi niets in het vuur dat kan exploderen of gevaarlijke situaties kan veroorzaken
Gooi niets in het vuur dat kan exploderen zoals flessen, vuurwerk, munitie. Gebruik
het vuur alleen om te koken of als vuurplaats en geniet van de multifunctionaliteit van
het product.
Wees voorzichtig met het gebruik van het product
Houd er rekening mee dat vuur gevaarlijk kan zijn en schade kan toebrengen aan
mensen, dieren en de omgeving als voorzichtigheid niet wordt betracht. Zorg altijd voor

Vermijd contact met de kom
Na gebruik kunnen de kom en de piatto nog een tijd heet zijn, houd hier rekening mee.
Verplaats het product nooit tijdens of na gebruik. Het product kan nog steeds heet zijn
en letsel of brand veroorzaken
Gebruik geschikte accessoires
Geschikte accessoires moeten worden gebruikt om gevaarlijke situaties te voorkomen.
Onjuiste accessoires kunnen schade of letsel veroorzaken. Het gebruik hiervan wordt
dan ook afgeraden. Indien schade is ontstaan door gebruik van niet juiste accessoires
dan vervalt de garantie op het product.
Ignite Fire
Gebruik altijd aanmaakblokjes (in overeenstemming met EN 1860-3) om uw vuur aan
te steken (gebruik nooit een vloeibare brandstof). Plaats de aanmaakblokjes in de kom
en stapel het hout als een wigwam. Open de luchtschuif aan de binnenkant van de
basis (net onder de kom zodat er extra lucht in de kom kan komen). En steek de
aanmaakblokjes aan. De en de ring worden in minder dan 30 minuten opgewarmd.
Verschillende warmtezones kunnen worden gecreëerd. Meer informatie hierover is te
vinden op onze website. Gebruik nooit andere brandstof dan hout, briketten of
houtskool.
Verantwoordelijkheid en aansprakelijkheid
Extreem opwarmen van het product is niet nodig en kan schade aan het product en/
of de omgeving veroorzaken. De eigenaar of gebruiker van het product is
verantwoordelijk om het product op de juiste manier te gebruiken. Het product moet in

een veilige omgeving worden geplaatst. Door dit product te kopen, accepteert de
eigenaar, gebruiker van het product, dat Quoco® nooit verantwoordelijk zal zijn voor
enige schade of letsel veroorzaakt door verkeerd gebruik van het product.
Quoco® aanvaardt geen aansprakelijkheid voor enige schade die is ontstaan door de
corrosie van onze producten.
Als er roest op de ring zit, kan dit worden verwijderd met schuurpapier. Na het
verwijderen zet je wat foodgrade-olie op de ring om opnieuw te beginnen met het
opbouwen van de beschermlaag.
1. Uitpakken product
Quoco® Piatto
De Quoco® Piatto is verpakt op een pallet in een grote kartonnen doos met een deksel
erop. Voordat u de doos opent, moet u de riem doorknippen die de doos op de pallet
bevestigt.
Pak het product altijd uit met 2 volwassenen om schade aan het product te voorkomen.
Stap 1
Pak het deksel van de kartonnen doos
Het product is ondersteboven in de doos geplaatst en de basis wordt gefixeerd door
een speciale kartonnen plaat. De kartonnen plaat is gemaakt om de basis op zijn plaats
te houden tijdens transport en opslag van het product. Gelakte producten worden in
een extra folie gewikkeld om beschadiging te voorkomen.
Wees altijd voorzichtig met wegnemen van de kartonnen deksel.
Stap 2
Pak de kartonnen plaat weg
De kartonnen plaat moet worden weggenomen. Afhankelijk van het product kan de
plaat met tape aan de hoes zijn bevestigd om de plaat op zijn plaats te houden. Laat
de tape eerst los en zorg ervoor dat de opening in het midden van de kartonnen plaat
de basis niet verbindt. Als de plaat vrij is van de basis, kan de plaat omhoog worden
getrokken. Als het product ontbreekt, is extra aandacht nodig om beschadiging van de
lakens te voorkomen.
Stap 3
Haal de huls weg
Omdat de Quoco®-doos in 3 afzonderlijke delen wordt geleverd, is de hoes ook los na
het wegnemen van het deksel en de kartonnen plaat. Trek de huls met 2 volwassen
uit de onderste deksel. Til de huls over het Quoco®-product en zorg ervoor dat u het
product niet aanraakt met de hoes om beschadiging van het onderstel te voorkomen.

Stap 4
De basis plaatsen
Controleer voordat u de basis weghaalt of de 4 stelvoeten correct op het onderstel
geplaatst zijn. Verwijder hierna de schuif uit de binnenkant van het onderstel (om te
voorkomen dat deze er uitvalt tijdens het plaatsen van het product) en het Quoco®-
product kan beschadigen. Nu kan het onderstel van de schaal worden genomen. De
manier om deze weg te nemen is belangrijk omdat het product ondersteboven wordt
geplaatst. Bij de gelakte of gepoedercoate varianten, is extra aandacht nodig (er wordt
extra schuim tussen de basis en de kom geplaatst om beschadiging te voorkomen) om
beschadiging van de kom of basis te voorkomen. Om het onderstel in de juiste positie
te plaatsen moet het 180 graden worden gedraaid. De stelvoeten op de vloer.
Als de basis op de grond wordt geplaatst, stelt u de stelvoeten bij om te voorkomen
dat de basis wankelt en wordt er een stabiele situatie gegenereerd.
Stap 5
Plaatsen van de schaal
Als het onderstel op de grond wordt geplaatst, moet de schaal in de juiste positie
worden geplaatst. De schaal is ondersteboven geplaats en moet dus gedraaid worden.

Stap 6
Plaatsen plancha
De plancha bevindt zich op de bodem van de doos en is ondersteboven geplaatst. De
plancha is zwaar en moet door 2 volwassenen worden gedragen. We adviseren om
handschoenen te gebruiken en voorzichtig te zijn met uw kleding. Omdat de plancha
plat is, moet het deksel iets van de pallet worden getrokken om het optillen van de
plancha gemakkelijker te maken. Wees voorzichtig, trek de plancha niet te ver om te
voorkomen dat het product wordt beschadigd of dat handen of voeten verwond
worden. De plancha kan een beetje glad aanvoelen door de beschermlaag die op de
plancha zit. Op de plancha staan nokken. De zijkant met de nokken is de kant die op
de schaal moet worden geplaatst. Haal de plancha met 2 personen eruit. De plancha
kan aan de binnen- of buitenkant worden vastgehouden en moet 180 graden worden
gedraaid. De plancha moet worden geplaatst met de nokken aan de binnenkant van
de schaal. Bij het plaatsen van de plancha, adviseren wij om uw handen aan de
binnenkant van de plancha te houden. Controleer of alle nokken aan de binnenkant
van de schaal zitten zodat verschuiving van de plancha voorkomen wordt.
Om schade aan de plancha te voorkomen, advieseren wij om de plancha tijdens
transport niet over de grond te rollen. Rollen kan krassen en bramen aan de plancha
veroorzaken waardoor het schoonmaken moeilijker wordt en de kans op verwondingen
groter wordt.

Stap 7
Verwijderen doos
Nu alles op zijn plaats is, neemt u het verpakkingsmateriaal weg. Hergebruik of
verwijder de verpakking op de juiste manier. Houd er rekening met veiligheid en
vermijd gevaarlijke situaties. Doe geen dingen die mensen, dieren of de natuur kunnen
schaden.
Stap 8
Horizontaal plaatsen het product
Het is belangrijk dat de plancha horizontaal wordt geplaatst. Dit is belangrijk om te
voorkomen dat vuil en vet van de plancha afloopt. Gebruik een waterpas om te
controleren of de plancha en kom horizontaal zijn geplaatst. Zo niet, verplaats de kom
en de plancha langzaam totdat de plancha horizontaal staat. Verplaats het altijd met
de nodige voorzichtigheid.
2. Eerste gebruik van het product
Als de Quoco® voor het eerst wordt gebruikt, is het belangrijk om de product- en
materiaalaspecten te begrijpen. We raden u aan de onderstaande stappen zeer
zorgvuldig te lezen om fouten of misbruik te voorkomen. Het product kan op
verschillende manieren worden gebruikt:
• Buitenkeuken
• Barbecue
• Firepit / heater
Om meer mogelijkheden met het product te creëren kan de Quoco® Piatto verder
worden uitgebreid producten en accessoires.
3. Materialen
Quoco® maakt gebruik van verschillende soorten hoogwaardige materialen. Op basis
van het deel van het product en het type product kan dit verschillend zijn.
3.1 Plancha
De Quoco® plancha is gemaakt van staal en geproduceerd op een manier dat het naar
binnen buigt als het opwarmt. Dit betekent dat de plancha van binnen lager wordt en
een beetje hoger aan de buitenkant.
Als de Quoco® plancha voor het eerst wordt gebruikt, is het belangrijk dat de plancha
langzaam wordt verwarmd. Als de plancha niet langzaam wordt opgewarmd, kan de
plancha gaan golven, kromtrekken en zelfs gaan wiebelen. Het kromtrekken van de
Plancha door verkeerd opwarmen valt niet onder de garantie. De binnenkant van de
plancha zal door de opwarming naar beneden gaan. In een heel enkel geval kan het
voorkomen dat dit niet gebeurt en de binnenkant naar boven gaat. Mocht dit het geval
zijn neem dan contact op met uw dealer.
