The Sphere Boiler (IQSB-g) is constructed with food grade stainless steel, and has six baskets that can be individually programed for cooking time durations. The
easy to use touch control panel conveniently located in the front of the IQSB-g for easy access.
The Sphere boiler utilizes Radiand’s patterned anti-stick technology, Even-Flow. Even-Flow ensures that every food item in the baskets will not stick to one
another while cooking.
The automatic water ll feature makes it worry free, you never have to add water manually again. Simply run a water supply to the Sphere water valve and the
electronic sensor will ensure the perfect water levels for you.

Installation
Required Installation Guidelines`
Select the location of the installation shall comply with the following provisions (Note: Any equipment
damage or not working properly caused by the violation of the provisions is not covered by the warranty.): (
a) This device can not have an open drain below. If already have drainage ditches,
it must be made of stainless steel steam outlet baffle seal in the region, to prevent the
steam shorting out circuits and could damage the equipment control system.
b) The installation location should be away from any heat sources (such as, gas
stove, broiler etc.) (the unit outside temperature should not exceeding 113 degrees
Fahrenheit) to avoid damaging the lift mechanism inside the hanging cover plates.
c) If this device is arranged along the wall, the rear panel of the device from the
wall should be more than 2 ½ inches.
d) The installation location altitude must not exceed 4,000 feet.

Installation
Installation of Sphere Boiler
1) Open the box, checking items according to the packing list. After removing all
packing items in the machines, place the machine at installation location in the
kitchen.
2) Unscrew the screws located in the rear left and right side of the machine for
future maintenance.
3) Level the Sphere with the Adjustable feet on all four machine legs to ensure the
installation is level. (Note: use four Locating Pins in the machine as a reference to
ensure if it is level after add the water.)
4) Connecting power supply
a) Power supply connections should be done by a licensed electrician. Power
supply wire use two-phase three wire (two phase line and one ground line). Basic
requirement:
b) Unscrew four screws on front panel (see Fig. 6), pull outwards (downwards) to
remove the panel.
c) Put the cable with plastic coated metal hose through the cable necking in the front
of the machine base. Leave enough length for moving machine, screw up cable
necking to fix cable. Fix the end of the plastic coated metal hose with waterproof
electrical tape.

d) Cut the cable as needed (recommended to remain a certain margin), strip the
cable thread, clamping terminals and wire to ceramic terminal block. Wiring order
(from left to right): ground, phase A, phase B )
e) Banding the cable outside of the device firmly with nylon band onto the hook ring
in order to protect the cable.
f) Turn the breaker to “on” position and re-install front panel.
5) Water supply hose
Install the filter according water flow direction (arrow downward) on the filter. Con-
nect to the water supply= valve with ½ inch stainless steel metal hose. (See Fig.8)
h6) Drain pipe
Connect one end of the drain pipe with 15 inch steel hose (or hose with wire).
Connect the other end to the waste drain.
WARNING: Kitchen sewer must be away from this machine.

Debugging
1) Open inlet valve. Ensure water in the inlet pipe and check if the pipe is leakage
or clogged.
2) Switch on electric leakage breaker in electric block to serve the machine. To
ensure the line voltage of phase AB = 210~240VAC and grounded reliable.
3) Place spout case and protectective cover in position, insert overflow pipe, put the
cover on.
4) Switch the power button to “ON” position (filling water now).
5) When water reach the down level, heating up will start automatically. When
water reaches up level, stop filling water automatically.
6) Press each down button, corresponding lifters will down automatically and start
blending (water boiling in machine sink). When the setting time countdown over
(factory settings time is 3s), lifters automatic move to the up position and stop, and
the blend is stopped as well.
7) After everything is confirmed and is normal, switch the power button to “OFF”.
Clean the machine (water sink inside, spout case, thermal sensor, cover, impeller,
hold ring, noodle baskets, float, protect cover, heater, etc.) with detergent and clear
water.

Operation Cooking Time Settings
Cooking time settings are relative to what you are cooking. Select proper time
according to raw and cooked taste to ensure cooking quality.
Setting method:
For example, set main controller cooking time at 3 min. Fig 9 is before adjust, Fig
10 is after adjust.

Cooking Time Settings
The first line displays cooking time of basket#1. The second line displays cooking
time of basket#2. The third line displays cooking time of basket#3.
Button 1, 3, 5 means “increase”. “hit once” the button, value changes one by one.
“hold press” the button, value is changing continues.
Button 2,4,6 means “decrease”, “hit once” the button, value changes one by one.
“hold press” the button, value is changing continues.
(Note: Adjust cooking time for lifter #1,#2,#3 on Main controller. For
lifter#4,#5,#6, adjust the cooking time on sub-controller.
1) Enter parameter adjustment interface.
Press and hold both button #1 and 5# (each line display flash)
2) Adjustment
Press button #2 and then button #1, adjust the first line to 3min.0s.
Press button #3 and then button #4, adjust the second line to 3min.0s.
(Note: In this example, the third line display is 3min.0s. So it does not need to
adjust)

Operation Water Volume Settings
Setting up the water volume can only be operated on main controller. (Fig 11 is
before adjust, Fig 12 is after adjust.)
1) Press and hold both button 2# and 5# (the rst and second line display ash)
zNote: The rst line displays “rell mode” (recommended setting 10). The second line
displays“rell modulus” (recommended setting 1). The third line means “adjust func-
tion #2” on main controller.
2) Press button 1# and 2# to set“rell mode” to 10;
3) Press button 3# and 4# to set“rell modulus”to 1.
(Note: If there is water shortage during cooking, the “rell modulus” can be increased
gradually to a proper lever, neither water shortage, nor decrease water temperature
due to rell too much.)
4) Press and hold both button 5# and 6# to conrm. It will automatic return to the
mode of cooking time display.

Operation Cooking Temperture Settings
1) The cooking temperature should be set according to local ATM press and alkali
content in noodle. Low water temperature cannot cook noodle well and high water
temperature will effect stirring result. Neither for cooking nor energy-saving. Tem-
perature setting on thermal controller should be prevail to measured temperature on
thermal controller when water just be boiled.
2) Cooking temperature setting method (see Fig below)
Step 1#: Hit , (the last digit flashes on setting temperature display)h
Step 2#: Adjust the value to desired temperature by hit and .
Step 3#: Hit to confirm. Adjustment completed.
(Note: The digit can only be adjustable when digit flashes.)

WARNING: ENSURE Float is flexible and moves up and down freely.
WARNING: Use soap and water to clean lifters.

1) Insert overow pipe;
2) Fix spout case (screw the xed bolt and two press cover bolts fasten by hands),
place protect cover in position.
3) Place cover, hold ring and noodle basket in position.
4) Turn the machine power on. (Turn watering switch to “auto”, Switch the power to
“ON”)
5) When water in sink reaches the level of upper water level and temperature reaches
the the setting value (more than 200 F)，shake loose raw noodle and put into the
baskets.
6) Press “down button”, start cooking. ( Baskets will stop and move down when it
reach the place, then start blend. When setting cook time is completed, baskets will
rise to place automatically and stop automatically.)
(Note: You can use long chopsticks or spider spoon to loosen raw ingredients while

When nished a whole day cooking, the machine should be shut down and cleaned.
1) Switch the “power” to “OFF”
2) Lift up the overow pipe to drain all the water in machine sink.
3) Put the overow pipe back to its place. Turn the watering switch to“manual” to ll
in water to the sink. When water is lled properly, turn the watering switch to “auto”
(stop ll water).
4) Take out the baskets, remove hold ring, cover, protect cover, spout case
and impellers.

5) Use detergent and clear water to clean inner side of sink, heater, oats, t
hermal sensor, machine.
6) Place all cleaned parts back into position and ready for next use.
CAUTION: Be careful when cleaning parts.
WARNING: Do NOT use power washers or high presure water cleaners.
CAUTION: When cleaning front panel do not scratch or tear PVC film.
CAUTION: ONLY use mild detergent when cleaning.
CAUTION: ONLY use Radiand replacement fuses for this machine.
CAUTION: Be sure to remove front panel first when replacing fuses.
CAUTION: NEVER use a sharp object or screw driver to remove fuse cap.

Routine Maintenance
1) Clean Water Sink Everyday
Purpose: keep the sink clean.
Method: after machine stop cooking,
a) Turn the power switch to “OFF”
b) Lift up overow pipe, drain all water from the sink and place overow pipe back
to position.
c) Turn the “watering” switch to “manual”and ll water to sink.
d) Clean inner side of sink with towel ( or use proper amount detergent)
e) Drain all water in sink.
f) Re-ll clear water to clean machine again till it is clean thoroughly.
2) Clean spout case everyday
Purpose: keep the case clean.
Method: after machine stop cooking,
a) Turn the power switch to “OFF”
b) Lift up overow pipe, drain all water from the sink and place overow pipe back
to position.
c) Unscrew the xed bolt on spout case by hand and remove the spout case.
d) Loose the press bolts on both side of spout case. Open the case ( see Fig 13), rinse
the inside and outside of the case with clear water.
e) Place the case back to the position.
3) Clean impellers ( every two days, designated person)
Purpose: keep the impellers clean and working normally.
Method: after machine stop cooking,
a) Turn the power switch to “OFF”
b) Lift up overow pipe, drain all water from the sink and place overow pipe back
to position.
c) Loose the xed bolts by hand and remove spout case, then remove the bolt at the
end of impeller.
d) Wrapped impeller with towel and take out impeller carefully. Use towel to clean
the water and dirt on impellers.
e) Use towel to clean installation axis and recesses hole.
f) Install the impellers to axis carefully. Fasten the bolt by hands.

4) Clean baskets and hold ring everyday
Purpose: keep baskets clean.
Method: after machine stop cooking, remove baskets and ring, clean with towel
and clear water. Stainless steel net can only be cleaned with brush. Do not hit the
stainless steel net to avoid break the net.
5) Clean machine surface everyday.
Purpose: keep the machine clean.
Method: after machine stop cooking, clean the table, front panel and side panels
with wet towel.
6) Clean up and down oat switch (every three days)
Purpose: keep the switch clean and let oats move freely. To avoid ll water and
heat up.
Method: after machine stop cooking,
a) Turn the power switch to “OFF”
b) Lift up overow pipe, drain all water from the sink and place overow pipe back
to position.
c) Remove protective cover.
d) Crimp the oat ring with crimping tool. Pull outwards to remove the ring.
e) Take out the oat. Clean the oat surface, center hole and installation bar with
towel.
f) Re-install the oat and put the ring into installation bar’s gut. Then put on protec-
tive cover.
7) Clean water scale (regular clean water quality)
Keeping the water sink and items in it clean will increase the heater’s life and ener-
gy-savings.
Method: after machine stop cooking, select proper detergent to clean the scale.

8) Clean cooling fan net (with clean water)
Purpose: decrease ambient temperature to protect heating element not to be
defected due to too high temperature.
Method: after machine is in use, Remove front panel and clean the block on cool-
ing fan net. And then re-install the front panel.
9) Replace lifter motor fuse (when the fuse burned)
Purpose: Protect lift motor, repair damaged fuse by accidental overcurrent.
Method: (for example of replacing Lifter 1# fuse)
a) Turn the power switch to “OFF”
b) Remove front panel, pull out left hanging cover plate (see Fig 14)
Warn: Be sure to remove front panel rst when replacing fuse. If pull out left hang-
ing cover plate directly instead of removing front panel rst, it is easy to scratch ma-
chine cable and cause shortout and machine damaged.

c) Press center of fuse cap with your nger, counterclockwise rotate the fuse cap and
remove the fuse cap and fuse tubes.(see Fig 15)
Method: (for example of replacing Lifter 1# fuse)
a) Turn the power switch to “OFF”
b) Remove front panel, pull out left hanging cover plate (see Fig 14)
Warn: Be sure to remove front panel rst when replacing fuse. If pull out left hang-
ing cover plate directly instead of removing front panel rst, it is easy to scratch ma-
chine cable and cause shortout and machine damaged.
c) Press center of fuse cap with your nger, counterclockwise rotate the fuse cap and
remove the fuse cap and fuse tubes.(see Fig 15)
4) Put new fuse tube into fuse cap and place into fuse holder. Press the center of cap with your nger,
clockwise rotate the cap until the cap and holder at the same level (see Fig 16)
