OWNER’S MANUAL — Please read before using this equipment.
C
Your CB Extension Speaker is designed for use with any CB Transceiver which has an
External Speaker jack, and for either mobile or base station application. It is acoustically
designed to cover the range of speech frequencies, and thus greatly enhances voice
intelligibility (even under high-noise mobile conditions).

Carefully consider a convenient location
where your speaker will not get in the way,
and yet project sound to the best advantage.
You can mount it above or below a
dashboard, on a rear deck or any other
location. For mobile installations, keep in
mind the safety and convenience of vehicle
operation.
1. Use the mounting bracket as a template
and mark holes for drilling.
2. Drill two 3/16" (4.5 mm) holes. Take care
that you don't drill into existing wiring or
trim.
3. Mount the bracket with two tapping
screws and speed nuts.
4. Fasten the speaker between the bracket
using the two thumb screws. Swivel the
Speaker as desired and tighten the
thumb screws securely.
5. Insert the speaker's plug into the
Transceiver's External Speaker (or
Remote Speaker) jack. Secure the wire
out of the way (use clamps or ties as
required).

• Avoid mounting in direct sunlight or high
temperature areas.
• Avoid running the wire across sharp metal
edges or moving parts.
• Don't mount where it will block air
conditioning or heating vents.
