PARALLEL CONNECTION KIT

INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing this product. The Parallel Kit is designed to connect two
inverter generators to provide twice the power output to a load.
WARNING: Read and understand manual completely before using product. Failure
to completely understand manual and product could result in death or serious injury.
If any section of the manual is not understood contact your nearest authorized dealer.
The owner is responsible for proper maintenance and safe use of the equipment. Before
operating, servicing or storing this parallel kit:
•Study all warnings in this manual and on the product carefully.
•Become familiar with this manual and the unit before use.
•Refer to the Startup section of the manual for instructions on nal assembly
procedures. Follow the instructions completely.
•Save these instructions for future reference and ALWAYS supply this manual to any
individual that will use this machine.

SAFETY RULES
The manufacturer cannot anticipate every possible circumstance that might involve
a hazard. The warnings in this manual, and on tags and decals axed to the unit are,

SAFETY SYMBOLS AND MEANINGS
Please check the parallel kit before use. If it is damaged, for your safety, please do not
use the kit and contact your local dealer immediately for maintenance and repair.
WARNING: Equipment and property damage. Do not alter construction of, or
installation of primary fuel tank. Doing so could result in death or serious injury, unsafe
operation or generator damage.
When working on this equipment, remain alert at all times Never work on the equipment
when physically or mentally fatigued Do not connect or disconnect parallel kit while
running.
ELECTRICAL HAZARDS
DANGER: Electrocution. Contact with bare wires terminals, and connections while
generator is running will result in death or serious injury.
DANGER: Electrocution. Turn utility and emergency power supplies to OFF
before connecting power source and load lines. Failure to do so will result in death or
serious injury.
DANGER: Electrocution. Verify electrical system is properly grounded before
applying power Failure to do so will result in death or serious injury.
DANGER: Electrocution. Water contact with a power source, if not avoided, will
result in death or serious injury.
DANGER: Electrocution. In the event of electrical accident, immediately shut power
OFF. Use nonconductive Implements to from live conductor. Apply first aid and get
medical help. Failure to do so will result in death or serious injury.
Refer to local and national electrical codes.

The Parallel Kit is designed to connect two inverter generators to provide twice the
power output to a load.
IMPORTANT NOTE: NEVER CONNECT PARALLEL KIT TO RUNNING INVERTER.
REMOVE CONTENTS FROM CARTON
Remove and verify carton contents prior to assembly. Carton contents should contain
the Parallel Kit and this Owner's Manual.

OPERATION AND USE QUESTIONS
NOTE: Parallel kits are only applicable for two inverters of the same voltage and
frequency, NOT compatible with other brands of inverter generators.
Please contact your local dealer for maintenance and troubleshooting of your inverter.
STARTUP
DANGER: Electrocution. Turn utility and emergency power supplies to OFF
before connecting power source and load lines. Failure to do so will result in death or
serious injury.
1. Check if the generators are the same model.
2. Check if the generators are ready to run and powered OFF.
3. Connect the parallel kit to parallel outlets on both generators (Fig. 2).

NOTE: When parallel kit is connected, do not connect loads to unused outlets on each
generator.
4. Start rst generator and wait for green Ready LED to illuminate. (Fig. 3).

5. Start second generator and wait for green Ready LED to illuminate (Fig. 4).
6. Verify both generators are in the same mode.
7. Connect load to parallel kit (Fig. 5). The load will now have power.

3. Try start sequence again (verify inverter generators are
OFF before connecting and starting) and verify green
Ready LEDs illuminate on both inverters.
