Perfect for the network
With the ICY BOX IB-NAS4210 you can create a network where several
users share data. In an office the IB-NAS4210 for example provides data
of projects or clients, at home it’s rather music and movies. These data
are stored on a hard drive that you insert into the NAS or on a USB stick
that you connect to it. By the way, NAS means Network Attached Storage.
The servers you need to manage data come with the IB-NAS4210 – as
software and that is for any established operating system.
Easy montage and set-up
The ICY BOX IB-NAS4210-B is simply opened and assembled. The
configuration is quickly done via web interface with a standard browser
like MS Internet Explorer, Opera or Firefox.
BitTorrent Client
Downloads without the computer activated. Saves power. With media server
by Twonky Media, 30 days test version included.
Low power consumption
In contrast to a conventional PC or server, the ICY BOX IB-NAS4210-B uses
much less electricity, which saves money and protects the environment.

With the ICY BOX IB-NAS4210-B you can share data via Samba, FTP
or NFS. Via Samba standard Windows network shares are accessible
to Windows, Mac and Linux. For UNIX and Linux NFS provides the
standard UNIX shares. Via FTP you can access your data even through
the internet. Access rights can be defined for an unlimited amount of
users or groups. The Twonky Media Server (30 days trial) connects to
all Network Media Players using UPnP-AV. Bonjour including iTunes®
support connects to your MAC World. The included DHCP server
configures your Network automatically if none such server is available.
Extendable via USB
Via USB attached USB sticks or HDDs are also available as network-
drives.
One Touch Backup
By one press on the button the data of the, via USB attached USB
sticks or HDDs, can be stored into the NAS.
Very good Price/Performance ratio
For the very good performance the price is low in compare to similar
NAS systems.
